I read a lot at night while my spouse sleeps next to me. She often tells me to the light off. I had a previous light I used on my kindle but it had a long arm and flopped around a lot. This light is small and compact and clips right onto my kindle touch with its case on it. The light head is very bright and stable and can be positioned perfectly to make the e-ink display properly viewable without creating a significant glare. This is by far the best light I have used with my kindle. I highly recommend this to any kindle user who wants to read in low light, or does not want to disturb anybody else in a dark environment.

I purchased this reading light for several reasons all of which were fulfilled by the Kandle. First, I wanted something on the smaller size that would not be hard to travel with or store away. I also wanted a product that did not have a long neck that I would have to constantly adjust. Both of these were accomplished... The Kandle came with a second set of batteries which is a nice bonus, the price was right and the light PERFECTLY illuminates the page or screen that you are reading from. In addition to the lighting itself, this devise is almost weightless which is a huge plus that I didnt even consider when purchasing a light... Buy it now, your night time/low light reading can finally start off the right way....

Even though I read all about it, I expected something bigger. Maybe because they said it would light the whole page of the kindle, not just part of it. I read a lot of reviews, about a lot of lights and chose very carefully. And it was worth it! First of all, the light came in a neat little box. When you open the box, immediately you feel like a valued customer. Everything in the box is just so...luxurious. I couldnt find a better word. You get a little bag to put the lights in. And you get 2 (TWO) sets of batteries, so you dont have to worry about that for a while. When I first took the light in my hand, it felt smooth, and light, but at the same time, sturdy. As I had expected a larger thing, I was really suprised to see how small it was. Then I clipped it to my kindle. You can adjust the light to make it perfect angle. You have two options for brightness, which is great, because in dim light the less bright setting is more than enough. And it DOES light the whole page. If I really wanted to find something not even wrong but some need of getting used to, is that the on-off button is right where you would grab the light when you want to clip it on. But it doesnt turn on that easy. So, its perfect. I can even use it with my good old paperbacks. and one more thing, when you close the light, it is just a round something, nothing is sticking out, so its good for travel, you wont break it. Great purchase!

Overall I am happy with my Kandle II. As other reviewers have commented it is a little wobbly when you clip it on so you can still see the screen, and the light does fade a tiny bit near the bottom of the screen. However, neither of these things bother me much and I am enjoying being able to read at night without bothering my husband. Overall I am pleased with it and glad I purchased it! Updated to add: I was contacted by Ozeri and for my positive feedback, I was sent 4 extra sets of batteries for my Kandle II. I have since used all these batteries. I read about an hour at a time with the Kandle set on the low setting and am replacing batteries every 2 weeks or less. I wish I had known it was going to go thru batteries so quickly, makes it a bit more expensive now that I know that.

This little light is amazing! I just received mine yesterday and it really works great!! Its small I have to admit, but its powerful. The feel of it is so smooth and soft (really soft to the touch). Its padded inside the clip that clips to your Kindle so there is no fear of it scratching. You have 2 lighting options, low and high, and those little LED lights are BRIGHT. It lights up my page extremely well which I was very happy about. You can adjust the neck of it and the actual light as well. It comes with a really nice black pouch, batteries already in place plus an extra set. This is an awesome light for reading in low light areas, and my vision isnt the best which helps me a lot!! Kandle II and Amazon, you are always thinking one step ahead.

Ive had this for a couple of weeks and could not be happier with it. The light works great, and if anything is too bright on the highest setting for me. The coverage is uniform across the width of my Kindle and does not fall off very much at the bottom of the screen. The quality of the construction and even the feel of the plastic is top notch. I especially appreciate the supplied carry bag. If I could make a couple of changes I would do the following: 1. Try to lower the weight, as it does make the my Kindle a little top heavy. 2. Have a better method to open the battery cover than depending on the user to keep up with the supplied screwdriver. 3. Have one setting for a little dimmer output, maybe only light the two outer LEDs and not all three. Overall, this light is much better than I expected and I would highly recommend it if you are going back and forth between it and the other light options out there.

I use my Kindle a lot so when I wanted a light, I wanted one that would light the whole page, clip on easily and stay put when adjusted. So far, the Kandle II has met all my expectations. Not sure about the battery life. Ive only used it a few times but seems to be ok. I love the fact that it has 3 led lights and is wide enough to cover the whole page. It has 2 adjustments and 2 light settings which is nice for different seating positions. My only con is that it covers the on/off button on the top(I have a Kindle II), so I have to unclip it to do so, which means I forget to turn it off. But thats more of a me problem so I still love this light!

As the owner of two older kindles which dont have lights (2nd and 3rd generation) I was really excited to try this product. The overall design and build quality is excellent and I dont have the issue with the batteries that some do. Unfortunately, there are three major drawbacks. 1. This thing is bright. Too bright for reading in a dark room or plane when others are near by. This was my largest disappointment. The levels of light arent very adjustable and even on its lowest setting the light spreads all over the place. Sure, it is great to have the ereader illuminated, but it feels like half the room is also illuminated. If you are next to another person, it could be quite distracting. Ive attached a photo of a Kandle as the only light in the room. 2. The arm doesnt stay up in the middle position. The brightness and spread could probably be manageable if the arm would stay in the middle positions. Instead, it very slowly closes as if on a spring load and then the light shuts off. This is a very nicely dampened action, so slow that you might not notice it is happening until half the reader is no longer illuminated. It is possible that I have a defective unit, but the slow close action leads me to believe it is intentional. 3. Size. The Kandle II is big compared to the reader. Much larger than I expected. Its 2/3 the width of my 3rd gen kindle. This is probably only a minor complaint. It would be awesome if it were smaller, but... Hopefully, these comments make it into the product development lifecycle. Aside from these three complaints, it is a really well done product and hopefully the Kandle III will be even better!

I just received my Kandle II in the mail. I used it the first night and was satisfied. I was kind of mislead that there were three settings when off counts as a setting. I did not notice a huge difference between the two light modes. However,I was surprised at how small and compact the Kandle II is and how nicely it.fits on top of the Kindle. It does not really get in the way of reading. I only wish that the Kandle II would fit better when the M-Edge Executive cover is closed. Over all it does do the job though.

I just received my Graphite Kandle and I am thrilled. I had a leather cover so I didnt want to spend $60 for the all in one and I didnt want a light that was cumbersome or awkward. I swear I pretty much read every Kindle light review then I read the review for the Kandle. I thought the reviews were pretty good so I ordered it. It arrived today, one day delivery thanks to Prime. This Kandle is everything I wanted--small, compact, good light to the bottom of the page, adjustable and two light settings. The piece itself has a nice feel to it, I dont know if it is plastic or rubber but it feels wonderful when you hold it. It even came with a small cloth black case and a battery. I tested the light power in a dark closet and was amazed at the amount of light. There are 3 small recessed lights and two light settings---the lower setting will be great for me because the higher setting is really bright. The only thing is I wish the clip fitted a little snugger to the body of the Kindle, I worry over time the clip might become loose and not stay in place, and this is a small worry compared to the overall quality of the light. You will not go wrong buying this Kandle.
