> 3 dayThis has to be the best light for Kindles on the market . It has a great feel to it as well as 2 light levels which makes it great for reading in bed . It comes with Lithium batteries pre installed and ready to go . It makes a world of difference on Kindle Key board . My son saw it the day after i got it and was up set I did not buy him one with mine . So I plan on buying another one very soon . It is a well made kindle light and has a nice smooth rubber like feeling to it . This is much better then the kindle lights with the flexible necks that are big and bulky . Buy one and you will be very happy......

16-12-2024Because of all the issues I have read about and heard about with the lighted Kindle covers I refused to buy one. However most of my reading is done at night so I needed a light. I bought several different lights in the three weeks I have owned my Kindle and none of them worked the way I wanted. They didnt light the whole page, they had a horrible glare, they got in the way of my reading, they burned out quickly and so on. The Kandle on the other hand is PERFECT!!!! I can angle the light, it clips on without being in the way, there is no horrible glare, and best of all the light stays on the Kindle and not all over the room so I can read in bed and not disturb my husband. It also works great on regular books as my husband was using it the other day while reading. He also found that it is the perfect light to use in dark places with instruction manuals. I love the Kandle as it fits perfectly inside my neoprene cases zipper pocket when I do not need it. Plus the fact that for the price it also comes with batteries, an extra set of batteries and a screw driver for the battery compartment. Plus to order replacement batteries is only $5 for 25 batteries...that is a steal compared to the other lights I have purchased. I have used this light for a total of 49.5 hours so far and it is still just as bright as the day it arrived. Another benefit is that there are two light settings..bright and brighter so I can adjust it to fit my needs and neither one produces a glare. This light makes my Kindle experience even better!

Greater than one weekAs others have noted, the color and texture of this device are nearly perfect matches for the Kindle 3. Compared to other devices Ive examined, though not used, the weight, light distribution and overall functionality of this unit cannot be beat. My only knock on this unit pertains to the clip. I use my Kindle without a case and while the clip is perfectly functional and secures effectively to the top of the Kindle itself (one of the initial selling points of this lamp), I wish the back of the clip was a bit longer or the spring a bit more resistant just so I wouldnt feel that the light may slip off the top. I anticipate battery life to be excellent due to the use of LEDs which emit a comfortable bluish glow. Two sets of button type batteries are included - one installed and one to keep with an included storage pouch and small screwdriver for when that day eventually comes.

20-12-2024I just got this to replace another Kindle light that wouldnt hold a charge. Its just about perfect when it comes to brightness, even lighting and weight. The only problem I have with it is that it moves on the Kindle. The clip is designed so that it cant be pushed fully down tight to the clip, or it covers the top of your Kindle. This means that it can move fairly easily. Ive got it stable enough that Im comfortable moving it, but it does interrupt occasionally for readjustment.

> 3 dayIm really impressed with the way this little book light illuminates the screen of the Kindle. The three white LEDs distribute the light very evenly, and, while its a tiny bit brighter near the light source, there is no glare off the Kindles screen whatsoever, which is perfect for nocturnal reading. This light has two power settings, although there isnt much difference in brightness between the two. The lowest setting is more than adequate for situations in which a book light is needed. The light is compact and lightweight, and doesnt really affect the readability of the Kindle. Holding the Kindle with the light attached is still well balanced. My only issue, if it can be called that, is that the back clip could be a half inch or so longer to accommodate the beveled edges of the back of the Kindle. As it is, the light doesnt feel as though its clipped on as securely as it could be. Thats just a nit, however. The best workaround for this issue is to not toss your Kindle around. Otherwise, this light is an absolute joy to use. If youre on the fence about which book light to buy, you should definitely consider this one.

> 3 dayI really dont understand why this could not have a rechargeable battery. Other than needing expensive CR2032 batteries this light is great. I just received it yesterday so Im not sure what the battery life will be. Hopefully the battery life will be very long considering its only powering 3 small LEDs. FYI - even on the lowest light setting itll still light up a room, I may try and tape something to dim it down even more so I can read in bed without disturbing my wife.

> 3 dayI too was initially disappointed in this light as after about 5 minutes the light would fade and I had to work on getting additional lighting in order to see my book. I decided to replace the batteries that came with the light and now it works great. No fading in over a week and I can use it alone in the dark now and read just fine - the whole page and not disturb my husbands sleeping! Would rather not have a push button to turn it on and off as it can accidently be turned on in my purse, etc. I purchased this with the addl 25 batteries for $3.95 another great buy as I use these batteries in alot of my electronics.

> 3 dayOverall I am happy with my Kandle II. As other reviewers have commented it is a little wobbly when you clip it on so you can still see the screen, and the light does fade a tiny bit near the bottom of the screen. However, neither of these things bother me much and I am enjoying being able to read at night without bothering my husband. Overall I am pleased with it and glad I purchased it! Updated to add: I was contacted by Ozeri and for my positive feedback, I was sent 4 extra sets of batteries for my Kandle II. I have since used all these batteries. I read about an hour at a time with the Kandle set on the low setting and am replacing batteries every 2 weeks or less. I wish I had known it was going to go thru batteries so quickly, makes it a bit more expensive now that I know that.

> 3 dayVery lightweight and feels nice, almost velvety in texture. It stays put and doesnt slide around at all. The light is almost too bright at first. I bought so I could read at night without disturbing my husband and 2 year old who sometimes sleeps in our bed, but its so bright it almost lights up the bedroom as much as my bedside lamp. I find myself trying to angle my Kindle so that the light isnt shining in anyones eyes. But it slowly fades, so that after an hour or so of reading, I have to turn it up to the high setting to keep the bottom of my screen lit. It also eats batteries and Im a heavy reader, so its not practical to use every night. Ive gone back to using my bedside lamp most of the time. I still like it for camping, power outages, reading away from home, etc. But its the best ereader light Ive found.

> 3 dayKandle II by Ozeri is the best book light Ive owned, after using three other e-book lights with my Amazon Kindle. I like it to the point that I have already bought three more as gifts for family and friends. It is very compact, lightweight, clips securely to the top edge of the Kindle, and illuminates the whole screen evenly. The newest version has two functional improvements; there is now a self-locking battery cover and the light goes off - and stays off - automatically when the device is closed. This demonstrates Ozeris commitment to manufacture fine products. Furthermore, their customer service is outstanding. When my original Kandle began malfunctioning, I contacted them for a replacement as the device was still under warranty. I received a response from them within hours. They apologized for the problems I was experiencing with their product and a new Kandle II was at my door the same week, free of charge (I did not have to waste time returning the original device). In summary, the Kandle II e-book light is extremely functional, esthetically very pleasing, and I highly recommend the Kandle II by Ozeri to anyone looking for a light to use with their Amazon Kindle.
