Greater than one weekOriginally, I wasnt too blown away by this light--I wish it were a little less bulky as I do find it a little tiring to hold up on the Kindle--but its now over two years and still working, which makes it the longest lasting book light I have ever had. All this despite using it regularly, pretty much keeping it permanently clipped to my Kindle, unless a toddler has pulled it off and dropped it somewhere. This thing is sturdy! It is thin enough that I can zip my Kindle in its case with the light still attached. The biggest complaint I had--that it made my Kindle top-heavy to hold--was fixed when Amazon updated the Touchs software to include landscape mode. Now, the light is on the side when I hold it, making it easier. The final downside is that the small batteries are more pricey--Ive gone through several sets of batteries and keep an extra set in my Kindle case as, when they finally die, they die quickly. I am really impressed.

> 3 dayThis little Kandle gives off great light and the battery lasts for quite a while. My only complaints are about the design. It is very easy to accidentally turn the light on when moving it around. The on button is in the same place you put your fingers to squeeze open the clip. In addition, it is difficult to access the compartment to change the batteries. Otherwise, I would have given the Kandle 5 stars.

> 3 dayIf a gift from a couple of years ago, it was well received! No complaints!

> 3 dayI am using a Nook Touch, not a kindle, so I was a little concerned that it wouldnt work as well (grip the case or get in the way) on a different device. I was very pleasantly suprised. The illumination is sufficiently adjustable, both in terms of the intensity and the angle, to provide clear and bright illumination across the screen. The width of the light insures that it provides even illumination across the screen as well. Cant comment yet on the battery life but I dont read under very dim conditions too often so I am expecting quite a while. The only down side to this has been the lack of a rechargeable battery. Nice job.

> 3 dayAt $20, the Kandle is probably the best reading light I have used. The three bulbs give even illumination across the screen and from top to bottom. The clip-on design is wide and provides a stable fit across the top of my Kindle. The gray color closely matches that of the Kindle. The design is very ergonomic and compliments the Kindle well. I have used various lighting solutions for my Kindle e-reader and found that the Kandle works best for me. Other worm lights and even the Kindle lighted cover do not illuminate as evenly as the Kandle. Pros: Easy use, even illumination, nice design, and long battery life. Cons: Doesnt use the Kindles battery but this is a fair trade-off.

Greater than one weekAs others have noted, the color and texture of this device are nearly perfect matches for the Kindle 3. Compared to other devices Ive examined, though not used, the weight, light distribution and overall functionality of this unit cannot be beat. My only knock on this unit pertains to the clip. I use my Kindle without a case and while the clip is perfectly functional and secures effectively to the top of the Kindle itself (one of the initial selling points of this lamp), I wish the back of the clip was a bit longer or the spring a bit more resistant just so I wouldnt feel that the light may slip off the top. I anticipate battery life to be excellent due to the use of LEDs which emit a comfortable bluish glow. Two sets of button type batteries are included - one installed and one to keep with an included storage pouch and small screwdriver for when that day eventually comes.

> 3 dayHi, Ive only had this light for two nights now. First night I turned it on, and absolutely LOVED it. I have the original Kandle, and feel the new design lights MUCH better. Ive read the reviews regarding the clip, and I think it works as well as the original...you just have to be careful how you place it. Im not moving much when Im using the light, so having it pop off was not a concern. I was complete in love with this light. So, I read awhile, turned the light off, closed it, and went to sleep... Fast forward to night two...I grab my Kindle (with light still attached), cozy up under the covers, open up the light (and this is where my one of my two disappointments was found)...the light was on, and had been since the night before. Seems the on off switch is exactly where I push the light to close it. Being tired, I didnt realize I had turned the light BACK ON the night before when I was closing the light. Needless to say, the batteries dont like to run 24 hours straight and then work real well, so I didnt get much reading in that second night. This morning I go to change the batteries (which, very nicely, Ozeri includes a replacement set, along with a little phillips screwdriver, with the purchase), and discovered the second disappointment. The cover for the battery compartment is partially obscured by the clip. Easy enough to unscrew, but removing it and replacing that once the new batteries are in was a little tricky for my old lady fat fingers... But, I managed to get the batteries changed, it lights wonderfully again, and tonight when I turn it off I will make SURE I turn it off. Once I get used to problem 1, problem 2 wont come into play so much. Therefore, over all excellent product that I would purchase again if I lost this one...

> 3 dayI have a lot of hard cover books so I tried the kandle II on a couple of them and was surprised that it worked so well. It did not slip off the book and lit up both pages. The light was placed on the front side cover for about 180 pages and then I placed it on the back cover for the remaining 160 pages. I then tried the light on my new Kindle and it lit up the whole screen without any shadows. These tests were done in a dark walk in closet and the results were excellent. Easy on the eyes. Excellent construction and light weight. I have tried other clip on lights in the past with no good results but this one beats them all. I also attached it to the side of my laptop to light up the key board so that when I am riding in the car at night I do not need to keep the over head light on to see the key board. I will have to buy 3 more for the rest of my family as find this very handy.

> 3 dayEven though I read all about it, I expected something bigger. Maybe because they said it would light the whole page of the kindle, not just part of it. I read a lot of reviews, about a lot of lights and chose very carefully. And it was worth it! First of all, the light came in a neat little box. When you open the box, immediately you feel like a valued customer. Everything in the box is just so...luxurious. I couldnt find a better word. You get a little bag to put the lights in. And you get 2 (TWO) sets of batteries, so you dont have to worry about that for a while. When I first took the light in my hand, it felt smooth, and light, but at the same time, sturdy. As I had expected a larger thing, I was really suprised to see how small it was. Then I clipped it to my kindle. You can adjust the light to make it perfect angle. You have two options for brightness, which is great, because in dim light the less bright setting is more than enough. And it DOES light the whole page. If I really wanted to find something not even wrong but some need of getting used to, is that the on-off button is right where you would grab the light when you want to clip it on. But it doesnt turn on that easy. So, its perfect. I can even use it with my good old paperbacks. and one more thing, when you close the light, it is just a round something, nothing is sticking out, so its good for travel, you wont break it. Great purchase!

> 3 dayI scoured Amazon and the other reviews for a Kindle light, and was excited to discover something perfectly matched for my Kindle! I wanted something small and bright, so I could read in bed without disturbing the spouse. Some of the reviews mention that it is too dim for night reading, but this looked to perfect so I ordered it anyway. Upon receiving my Kandle II, I was impressed by the quality of the design and feel. It complements the Kindle perfectly. However, that night, when I turned it on, it shined brightly for 2 minutes and then faded away to an unreadable dim level. I tried for 2 weeks to make it work (even replacing the batteries), but no success. My Kandle would start out bright and fade out in a matter of minutes. Flustered, I emailed their customer support, and was pleasantly surprised to have someone reply back to me within an hour! I explained the problem to Bryan from Ozeri, and he mailed me a replacement Kandle a day later, no questions asked! The replacement unit is amazingly bright, and illuminates the entire Kindle screen for hours on end. This little light, while expensive, totally rocks! If yours has a problem, email Ozeri and they will take care of it!
