Perfect for checking existing wires

I like color scheme, like the large screen. What I would like to see Klein do is upgrade the remote so is a smart one and have it light indicator on the remote to indicate pass/fail installed . Also take advantage of the large screen, by having more information to indicate where/ what problems we are having, I wouldn’t have problem paying a little more for a smarter tester. I like Klein tools, I hope they improve over time..

Like another person has said, the battery compartment is too small to fit the battery and screw in the cap. I am surprised this is a customer facing mistake. I am going to try and return the unit I received for another one and see if its any better.

Wonderful tool

Well built and easy to use. Much more functionality than the cheap no name tools. Great for checking poe and shielded cables.

The distance readings are not very accurate but still good for testing the cables.

Building a home and opted to terminate my CAT6A runs myself instead of electricians that have no clue... And good thing I did because they did some absolutely terrible runs with my provided wire. So I cant even imagine what they would have done with my terminations. But anyways needed a cable tested and a means to make tracing my runs easier being that they didnt label any of the runs.
