> 3 dayI bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loves it and it will look great on his bookshelf in his home office. Hes spent a bunch of time working on it with our 8 year old daughter. Definitely recommend if you need a gift for someone who loves the space program.

> 3 dayMe and the kid constructed this beauty over the course of a couple days. Had to backtrack a couple times realizing we had made some minor mistakes, but it added to the fun in my opinion. Definitely going to check out some other NASA builds.

> 3 dayMy 14 year old son is really into aerospace right now and ordered this rocket with his own money. Given how expensive Lego sets can be for the size and detail, this was relatively worth the money. I gave it four stars because there were a couple of small bricks missing for the interior compartments. He was able to find replacements in his random Legos. They werent the right colors but he didnt mind much because they didnt show on the outside. He enjoyed explaining each section and its purpose, and how as you pull the exterior panels off, there are details of the interior of the rocket. He told me it was pretty accurate to the actual NASA rocket, and he was pretty proud of himself for putting it together in about 4 hours, including looking for replacement pieces for the missing ones.

> 3 dayGot this to complete my Lego space collection. The Saturn V is supposed to get retired this year so I wanted to get one before the prices skyrocket (no pun intended lol). Its magnificent once you assemble it.

> 3 dayOnce constructed, this model will take up some considerable display space if you intend to show it off. Its tall (or long, if you choose to lay it down on the included supports) but the construction supports the build. I was especially impressed with the way the cylinders come together, as the construction techniques really hold the individual stages together well. The joining techniques for the stages provides exceptional connection strength, and I have yet to have a piece come off that I didnt intend to remove. Overall, this was an extremely enjoyable build and one I recommend to anyone that appreciates the engineering that goes into these models.

> 3 dayThis is hands down my favorite Lego set to date. The iconic Saturn V is very faithfully reproduced here, including a large number of fine details I did not expect to see. Very well designed; robust, despite the complexity; and surprisingly easy to build. Instructions were clear and I only had to backtrack once when I wasnt paying attention. The complete model is very large, so be sure you have space set aside for it. While it will stand vertically on the nozzles, it is not going to be very stable that way, so horizontal display is ideal. While the model can easily separate into individual stages, the three included stands only allow it to be displayed in one piece. That said, you can replicate additional stands if you have the right parts (not included with the set, but theyre common enough to be easily purchased on BrickLink or other sites) to allow it to be displayed with the stages separated. The LEM can be mounted inside the fairings or displayed separately. There is also a small replica of the Apollo capsule post-splashdown that is meant to be displayed alongside the model. Bottom line - the set is excellent and is well worth the $120 price.

> 3 dayFrustration free packaging Is the way to go! All that means is the box you would get at the store is shipped in a Lego factory box. So you get the fancy display box from the store in the factory box. It was a little complicated at times for my 9 year old but it is awesome for us space nuts. Then again we have plenty of time during this lockdown to build, and rebuild if needed. Finished all 3 feet and 1,969 pieces of the Lego Saturn-V. Comes apart in all three stages, Service Module comes off, has a little LEM (Lunar Module) with storage, and 2 different Command Modules for your choosing. Also can put the LEM on a moonscape, and the Command Module on a splash down Oceanscape. Really I was wondering how this would go. Not disappointed at all.

> 3 dayThe LEGO Ideas Saturn V is out of stock everywhere and for good reason. Standing at 1 meter tall, its an impressive set piece to any collection. This may be the best LEGO set made in the past decade with a possible exception of the Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS that was released a few years ago. The ability to make round objects in LEGO is not an easy feat. To do it in a way that can be repeated by instruction is even harder. To do both things while making a product you can comfortable hold with one hand knowing it wont break is feat rarely seen in most LEGO sets. Furthermore, there are no stickers that have to be aligned which means you will be able to put the LEGO together with no fear of messing it up with a slanted sticker placement. The stages easily separate when you want them to which allow you to feel in your hand the different parts of the Apollo launches. Not to be taken for granted, the moon landing diorama and the water landing of the command module are both excellently done. The micro figures are well detailed despite being so small and it should come with four so that you have spares. The Lunar lander uses two different types of gold bricks which provide and interesting contrast of an interesting little model. The worst thing about it is that it seems to be sold out everywhere and if it is sold, at a much higher price than the msrp. My advice is to use a third party service that checks websites for you and alerts your phone when in stock. That gave me the best chance to get the correct price. Despite that, I would have easily spent twice what I did for it. An excellent set with a perfect 5 out of 5 star rating.
