> 24 hourFollowed and reviewed installation instructions several times and product did not work. It would not permit water to flow to washing machine Controller on this unit was defective. When plugged into wall none of the lights came on. Ordered a replacement unit from Amazon and it installed and works perfectly. Suggest you plug in control unit before doing anything else to be sure it works. A light should come on.

> 24 hourThe wiring diagram is easy to red but can be confusing to install. Double check all your connections by following each line to its proper destination. Then when you want to use the wire ties be sure to secure the wires so that disconnection of the unit is possible.

> 24 hourI had a plumber install this according to the instructions. The unit is defective and the yellow light kept blinking no matter what I did in setup. No customer support # to call. I’m having the whole thing ripped out so I can go back to using my washing machine!

> 24 hourA few years ago I had a main floor laundry hose burst and it made a heck of a mess. Yes my insurance did cover all the damage but the stress it took was way too much. I did install new hoses which should be replaced after a few years anyway and, because my taps are so hard to get at I decided to buy this kit I found the directions very easy to follow and the company gives you all the ties washers and instructions you will need It took me a little longer because I have several obstacles to overcome. Once I hooked everything up I decided to test the unit as mentioned in the instructions and everything was good. I was happy that they gave me a generous amount of wire so I could hook the control up and allow it very easy access Now, if I decide to go away somewhere for a few days I can just push the button and you can hear the water valves closing It is nice to know I should not have to worry about another hose leaking again Well packaged, well priced, and well thought out

> 24 hourThis automatic shut off system worked....well sorta... It was attached to our washing machine supply line with the moisture detector placed on the floor directly under the connector hoses. In the middle of the night, we were awakened to a loud alert; the detector identified water. However, it was a slight leak coming from a nearby utility sink supply line that reached the sensor and not the washing machine itself. The system turned off the water to our washing machine. My husband and I quickly turned off the supply lines to the leak source at the utility sink and then spent the next 2 hours trying to reset the system so that the water supply to the washing machine could be restored as that was not the source of the leak. Frustratingly, the reset button does NOT reset the system. The instructions say that it will automatically reset when the floor sensor is dry. That has not happened either. We have tried manually drying the sensor with a towel and then with a hair dryer. The system will still NOT reset and restore water to the washing machine. Our last attempt at drying the sensor....we have it sitting in a bag of rice for the past 4 days and will try again. If this does not resolve the ability to reset the system, we will need to remove the system and search for a new product. Update. My husband ended up contacting the company. The customer representative said that to reset the product so that the valves will open the water supply lines, the system needs to be unplugged from its power source until all lights on the system go stop blinking and go out. This can take anywhere from 30-45minutes. Then once the system is reconnected to power, then valves will open. This information is NOT FOUND anywhere in the manual OR on the website!!!!! We did as verbally instructed by customer service and the system did reset. Manual NEEDS TO BE UPDATED!

> 24 hourAfter two years, I discovered by accident that the ball valves would not close. This is a fatal defect. I traced the issue to two factors. 1) A spring is used to close the valve. Since the valve has been open for a long period, the spring is no longer strong enough to close the valve. 2) The controller does not exercise the value on a regular basis. Thus, the valve may end up stuck open or require a very large force to overcome resistance and close. I found a competitors product at the same price which does not have these issues. It is motor driven for both open and close. It has battery backup which solves the power failure situation without using a spring. It opens and closes the valve every 30 days. All really great ideas. Dont buy this valve. Get the one that really stops floods.

> 24 hourInstallation is easy if your valves are the right type. I had a plumber install mine since he had to change out a stuck water shutoff valve. The mechanism sense a very slight amount of water from the install and immediately shut off. It reset after the sensor was wiped dry. I havent had the need for it to work due to a leak, but was happy it tested out well. I am satisfied with my purchase.

> 24 hourI bought and installed this product near the end of 2021 when we moved a washer and dryer to the second floor of our home. This afternoon, it paid for itself. Our washer tub seal failed and water started coming out of the base of the washer. The sensor picked up the water, sounded the buzzer and shut off the supply. It worked like a charm.
