> 3 dayIve got a small shed that Im storing things in that shouldnt freeze. Ive got a 1500W electric oil heater in it and a Govee Bluetooth temperature monitor so I can use my phone to check the shed temp from inside my house (since its close). I tried 4(!) different simple plug in thermostats with the fixed on/off points and none of them actually worked. Returned them all. Went up in price to this unit and its been working great since. I have it set at 40F and the thermometer data shows nice tight limits from just under 40 to just over 42 when it kicks off. The instructions suck and they dont tell you how to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. But I found that info in the answered questions section here on Amazons page for the item. ********************** SEE ATTACHED PICTURE. AND THE SCARIEST PART IS THAT IM 90% SURE THAT THIS HAPPENED WHEN NOTHING WAS PLUGGED INTO THE PRODUCT. (IT WAS PLUGGED INTO THE WALL, OBVIOUSLY, BUT I HAD UNPLUGGED THE HEATER THAT WAS PLUGGED INTO THE DEVICE PREVIOUSLY)

> 3 dayIt is an Inexpensive alternative of smart thermostat. I use it to control my tower heater, So that I can avoid over heating problem that I had previously. The temperature is not super accurate, but it do the job. I would recommend this if you live in a rental property where you cant use a smart thermostat.

> 3 dayI read all of the concerns and I found it easy to set up...<1 minute and it works great. I use it ON/OFF to turn on an electric heater in the bedroom and then turn it off when its time for lights out! I do not use the thermostat so I did not have some issues others did.

> 3 dayI use this in my Office Shed at home to run a window A/C unit so that the fan is not running all the time. The hysteresis is 2-3 deg f. not a huge complaint but that makes for a 4-6 deg f swing in room temperature and comfort. The thermostat part is a bit finicky with the batteries and does funny things to the display when its not positioned just right. Switching from heating to cooling is very cumbersome. I have to keep the manual around just to operate the thing. 4/5 works to keep temperature 2/5 ease of use 2/5 would recommend a friend buy it

Greater than one weekTemperature indication was off by 4 to 5 degrees and very slow to respond to temperature changes. I tried it on my air conditioner and found it unacceptable because of this.

> 3 dayThis device was exactly what I wanted, but I didnt get to try it with anything attached because when I plugged it into the outlet, I heard a high pitch (but quiet) hiss. My partner doesnt hear it. The hiss goes away when it is in the ON state....so whether or not it bothers you is subjective. but it did bother me. I thought maybe it was a defective model so I got another one - but the result is the same. will be returning both. They do look very sleek, and I have very little doubt that the rest of the functionality works well, but I havent tried it.

18-12-2024I really love these devices. I am using them in our fifth wheel to ensure the dogs are comfortable when we step out to a restaurant. We keep the a/c thermostat active in case the outdoor temperature sores from 32F to 80F in a matter of hours, usually around noon. Bought two last year but Snowmagedon rolling blackouts in Texas shorted out both of the outlet controllers and my space heaters. This year I bought two more, one in white and one in black so I could keep the remotes straight. I kept the old remotes from last season just because they work great as thermometers independently of the controllers.
