> 3 dayWorks good when set up but the thermostat is flimsy and difficult to program. Programming is frustrating and almost sent it back for that reason. Thermostat dropped from 1 foot to a counter top and came apart and wiped out its programming, then you have to go through it all again. Once you get it set only adjust it up and down, it is so flimsy you will need to protect the thermostat life a snowflake.

> 3 dayCouldnt find any identification to tell which icon was for heat or cold temperature setting so I assumed the star symbol represented heat. I was wrong. Once I figured that out I got it to work. No trouble accidentally choosing fahrenheit setting. I was still going to send it back because I bought it to control the electric heater (1800 watts) in my outdoor heated cat cabin. I wanted to be able to adjust the heat without going into the cabin and disturbing the cats. I didnt realize the temperature sensor was in the remote. But I was able to figure a work around by setting the remote just inside a window and setting the temperature to shut off at 58 degrees which kept the cabin away from the partially open window at a constant 70 in the rest of the cabin. I monitored the cabin by looking at wall temperature gauge through the door window. Ive been very happy so far with occasional fine tuning depending how cold it is outside.

> 3 dayThis device ceased to be usable just days after return period was up, and destroyed the plug to my space heater. Some other issues: (1) After 1 week, the remote shut down without warning and my brand new AAA batteries, which I had just installed, needed to be replaced. (2) After 2 weeks, the plug started falling out of the outlet socket, making it hard for my space heater to work properly according to the temperature readings. I didnt return it because I wanted to wait to get a replacement thermostat before returning this one. Lo and behold, right when the return period was up, the plug was completely FRIED and STUCK *INTO* the outlet device-- it took me a good 5 minutes of struggling to wrench it out safely to make sure the plug to my space heater was not completely destroyed upon removal. The plug had black marks all over and I had to take some steel wool to remove the pockmarks that had developed all over my plug. I was scared that my space heater was broken, but when I plugged it into my regular outlet, it turned out it was working just fine. This device is destructive to electrical devices! Thankfully, now I use another brand of thermostat plug and it has not caused me these types of problems.

> 3 dayTwo preventable design flaws: 1) instead of making the device wide and short, they’ve made it circular and bulky in a way that partially covers two receptacle outlets instead of one… the thermometer port is also positioned on the bottom of the device in such a way that prevents other plugs from sharing your receptacle. 2) the app has a bunch of poorly labeled settings, random use of underscores in naming, and just feels like it was designed by an engineer and not a designer. Overall, lackluster product for the price.

> 3 dayI did not expect the thermostat to be 100% accurate. It seems to turn on after the temp drops about .9 degrees, but thats fine. I think if it was too accurate, my heater would turn on more frequently. Regardless, Im fine with this solution, and Im staying warm in my office.

> 3 dayI use these to control a couple of electric heaters in my garage. To my surprise I discovered that two switches could be operated by one controller. The temperature reads five degrees high. When the unit reads 55 degrees f, it’s actually 50 according to numerous other thermometers

> 3 dayLove this item. The Thermostat works very well. I use the plug + thermostat settings to control my babys wall-mounted plate heater and this helps me control the temperature in his room and save a noticeable amount of money in my electricity bills. Recommend it 100%.

> 3 dayUpdate: stopped working after 3 months. With 1500 watt heater. It took it apart , it melted inside Initial review: Dec 2021 I bought this thermostat to control the temperature in a 15x15 room in my basement with out a furnace duct. i am using this room as a home office for work from home during Covid. I bought this in conjunction with a Comfort Zone CZQTV5M Ceiling Mounted Radiant Quartz Heater heat. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YBH9XVG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 So far the combination has worked flawlessly keeping the room a warm 72 degrees that I set on the wireless thermostat. In the morning, the room is around 59 ot 60 degrees, it takes about 15 minutes to warm the room on the high setting of the heater. The low setting does not keep the room warm enough. I would recommend this heater and thermostat combination and would buy them both again.

> 3 dayRequires 2.4GHz WiFi and a phone or tablet set to the same. You can set the phone back to 5 after its paired. A little tricky to get it paired up to WiFi and the app, but it worked with a little patience. The app is a bit clunky but functional and does what you want with a little finagling. I would have been happy with it but it only worked for 6 days before the temperature sense went to -3F and stayed on in heat mode beyond the set temperature. Disconnecting and reconnecting the sensor, power cycling the unit made no difference.

> 3 dayI got this for my dad who rehabs houses. We hooked it up to a salamander to regulate temperature instead of just turning the salamander on and off every 30 minutes. I had to look through the comments to learn how to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Aside from that it works fine.
