> 3 dayI use this in my Office Shed at home to run a window A/C unit so that the fan is not running all the time. The hysteresis is 2-3 deg f. not a huge complaint but that makes for a 4-6 deg f swing in room temperature and comfort. The thermostat part is a bit finicky with the batteries and does funny things to the display when its not positioned just right. Switching from heating to cooling is very cumbersome. I have to keep the manual around just to operate the thing. 4/5 works to keep temperature 2/5 ease of use 2/5 would recommend a friend buy it

> 3 dayI have an electric fireplace used as a space heater in the winter, but it doesnt have a built-in thermostat. I plugged it into the Hycency outlet, paired the remote, dialed in a setpoint, and placed the remote close to my workspace. It regulated the temperature of the room nicely, switching the fireplace on and off as needed. I should note the first unit I bought arrived with a damaged LCD on the remote, but Amazon swapped the whole unit out quickly and easily. Great performance for the price!

> 3 dayI could have dealt with the lack of the decimal point for the °C conversions to °F. A swing in a couple of degrees met my needs. However, lost patience when connecting to Google Assistant and temp was only available in °C. Returned with hope a revised product is developed using °F for US customers in the future.

> 3 daythe issue I have it has a bad spot on the display, makes it hard to read.they will return it ,but I live 25 miles one way its not worth the time, gas , to take it to a UPS or USPS store, so because of there lack of trust that the buyer is honest so they force you to send the old part back

> 3 dayExactly what I needed. We have a window unit that will not turn off once it cycles into the cooling mode. Something with the thermostat switch. So, we bought this device in hopes it will cycle the ac unit off and on when needed. And it does exactly that. Totally worth it.

> 3 dayevaporative coolers have high voltage going to the main control switch and wit can be expensive to run a control switch remotely and the thermostats for roof top water coolers start at a minimum of $40. The key is you still need at least 5 wires capable of carrying the 110v power to it where ever you remotely install it. This product does not prewet the pads but has not been an issue where I live and how I set my temp. This allows it to cycle all day without freezing you our at night or on milder days. This item resolved all my grandmothers operator error complaints with running a water cooler instead of an AC unit which cost triple the price in power consumption to operate.

> 3 dayI got the Wifi version, ordered 2 of them. One of them works very well, the other doesnt power on at all, a complete dud. The one that works was easy to pair with the Smart Life App and it works with Alexa as well. Amazon says theyre sending a replacement for the dead one and it should be here tomorrow. Im using them (well, one of them right now) to control 2 5,000 btu window air conditioners (and probably 1,000w heaters in the winter.) Make sure you dont exceed 1,100w, thats all it can take, and unfortunately most space heaters are 1,500w. Luckily, most 5k btu air conditioners only use like 400-500w on high. One criticism is that, if the unit is off, Alexa cant change the temperature setting. You have to tell her to turn it on first, then tell her to change the temp. I hope the replacement for the dud works. Well see tomorrow.

> 3 dayLove this item. The Thermostat works very well. I use the plug + thermostat settings to control my babys wall-mounted plate heater and this helps me control the temperature in his room and save a noticeable amount of money in my electricity bills. Recommend it 100%.

> 3 dayThis thermostat performs quite well for the price. A warning to anyone not tech savvy or lucky this is tricky to program. The poorly written manual thats included is a joke. For example its written on box exterior switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit but how to accomplish that is nowhere to be found. I played button poker and finally configured it to work like I needed it to and does quite well. I almost gave up and sent it back.
