> 3 dayIt’s good device but for some reason the screen is defective and I ordered 3 of them. All of them have defective screen, but works with 1500 watt heater. 2 years ago I ordered it also from another one seller, have no issue, for the last month most of my orders on Amazon are defective or been used.

> 3 dayCouldnt find any identification to tell which icon was for heat or cold temperature setting so I assumed the star symbol represented heat. I was wrong. Once I figured that out I got it to work. No trouble accidentally choosing fahrenheit setting. I was still going to send it back because I bought it to control the electric heater (1800 watts) in my outdoor heated cat cabin. I wanted to be able to adjust the heat without going into the cabin and disturbing the cats. I didnt realize the temperature sensor was in the remote. But I was able to figure a work around by setting the remote just inside a window and setting the temperature to shut off at 58 degrees which kept the cabin away from the partially open window at a constant 70 in the rest of the cabin. I monitored the cabin by looking at wall temperature gauge through the door window. Ive been very happy so far with occasional fine tuning depending how cold it is outside.

> 3 dayI use this in my Office Shed at home to run a window A/C unit so that the fan is not running all the time. The hysteresis is 2-3 deg f. not a huge complaint but that makes for a 4-6 deg f swing in room temperature and comfort. The thermostat part is a bit finicky with the batteries and does funny things to the display when its not positioned just right. Switching from heating to cooling is very cumbersome. I have to keep the manual around just to operate the thing. 4/5 works to keep temperature 2/5 ease of use 2/5 would recommend a friend buy it

> 3 dayI bought it to put in my garage and run a fan when it gets hot in there. It works well and serves the purpose I needed it for.

> 3 dayI got the Wifi version, ordered 2 of them. One of them works very well, the other doesnt power on at all, a complete dud. The one that works was easy to pair with the Smart Life App and it works with Alexa as well. Amazon says theyre sending a replacement for the dead one and it should be here tomorrow. Im using them (well, one of them right now) to control 2 5,000 btu window air conditioners (and probably 1,000w heaters in the winter.) Make sure you dont exceed 1,100w, thats all it can take, and unfortunately most space heaters are 1,500w. Luckily, most 5k btu air conditioners only use like 400-500w on high. One criticism is that, if the unit is off, Alexa cant change the temperature setting. You have to tell her to turn it on first, then tell her to change the temp. I hope the replacement for the dud works. Well see tomorrow.

> 3 dayIm an American and like my temperature in Fahrenheit. The instruction manual did not say how to switch from Commie Celsius. The Amazon product description has the process above. Other than that, it works exactly as advertised. Hooked up to a window AC unit in the wood shed and now I have a thermostat.

> 3 dayNo batteries included, you need 2x 3A. Cryptic instructions in tiny text. Works great once you get past all that.

> 3 dayUnit connected to smart life app after 5 tries, took 3 days to sync to Alexa. However, the unit does not detect tge current temperature, so its either on or off. I got the unit in order to have smart control over the heater, but without the current temp, setting a target temp has no effect. Additionally, unit keeps losing connection to network, so even turning on/off has to be done manually. Basically, this ended up being nothing more than a manual switch at the outlet instead of a networked, controllable device. Waste of money.
