> 3 dayI love this monitor! The only two minor, minor issues I have/had with it are: 1. Initially I found the type of curve to be slightly distracting. It is not a consistent curve along the full length of the monitor. Instead the curve is slightly sharper in the middle, and that curve gradually has less curve as it gets out to each left and right side of the screen. It is an intentional design, and I dont even notice that any more. 2. Occasionally(once every few weeks) there are small, very light/minor staticy interruptions horizontally across the screen. I turn power off to the monitor and then back on and issue is solved. Pretty rare, and not a major issue. I have yet to figure out what triggers it. I leave computer on for weeks, so that could be part of the reason. Great added feature: Even more space for more Chrome tabs! I am very happy with this monitor.

> 3 dayThis monitor, the G5, is a huge upgrade from my old ASUS VS228. The 144hz is smooth and makes games feel much more responsive (when I can run them that well). The FreeSync works with GSync on my GTX 1660 Super, and makes everything feel even smoother. It gets plenty bright, and the configuration menus are very easy to navigate with the fairly intuitive power button/navigation stick. I was definitely confused from the reviews here before. The G7 reviews are also available on this page, which is not often made clear. There is no LED on the back of the G5, just the small light by the power button to indicate on/off working modes. The HDR is honestly lackluster. It does provide a slightly higher dynamic range and makes available things like HDR-compatible YouTube videos, but it washes out lots of the colors. Everything will generally look better if you just keep HDR off in Windows settings. The reviews I’ve seen here seem to indicate that the HDR on the G7 is much nicer, so I’ll be considering upgrading to that when I can. Overall, this is a great choice for people looking for 1440p or 144hz gaming/content. This monitor does of course have flaws, and it can be frustrating to find out what those are through the disorganized reviews here. Hopefully you see this review and it sheds some more light on this product!
