> 3 dayI like this monitor, its different from 1080p and you can see a visual different between the two, when I got my panel I hadnt noticed the deadpixels on the right and top of the display until two days later. My only gripe about the display is that you CANNOT enable freesync and change the response time of the display, so when you use freesync its a blurry mess. Though thats all the bad stuff, the good stuff is that it is a pretty nice display, good for watching videos and gaming, picture is clear and good!

> 3 dayFirst off, Id like to say I got this for about 400 dollars hence why I am calling it a budget ultrawide monitor. Great monitor for the price I got it for though. While it does have noticable motion blur like almost any other VA panel at this price range, it isnt terrible. The ultrawide experience though is something else. If you can get this thing for 450 or under, buy it. Trust me ultrawide monitors are a completely different field compared to standard monitors, even if this isnt as large as a g9, it is still beautiful with its curve and feel, youll never want to l go back to a regular monitor after this.

> 3 dayMonitor is exactly as advertised and of course it is Samsung so the quality is top notch. This is my my first curved screen and its incredibly immersive. I personally love it. As a mostly casual gamer this screen fulfilled my needs perfectly. In order to take full advantage of the 144Hz refresh rate you should have a Display Port 1.4+ or HDMI 2.0+. If you have an older HDMI/DP version (such as myself), youll have to force it by setting the refresh rate in the monitor settings. 32 screen is a bit big for 1440p so PPI (pixels per inch) is a bit low, meaning you can see pixels if you sit too close. I havent noticed any pixelation or screen tearing personally, but hardcore gamers looking for the ultimate gaming monitor should keep looking. TL;DR If youre a casual/semi-casual gamer or someone using it for general purposes, this screen will knock your socks off. If youre a hardcore gamer: The PPI is a touch low for 1440p. Id look for a 34 @ 4k, or go with a multi monitor setup of 27 @ 4k for better PPI and smoother gaming. - To make use of the 144Hz refresh rate make sure you have a Display Port 1.4+ or HDMI 2.0+, otherwise youll need to set the refresh rate in the monitor settings. - No built in speakers (the decorative lower corners are purely visual) - Comes with HDMI cable, does NOT come with DP cable

> 3 dayPros: First, I’m using this monitor with a new Mac-Mini computer, bought the monitor online through AMAZON. Very simple to assemble – took me all of four minutes. I love this monitor. I originally had a 21 and this 27 is not just larger, it’s significantly larger. Its light weight and has a generous base so it’s steady . Curvature feels good on my eyes, and while I have to move my head a wee bit, you can minimize any open window to a size that fits your individual preferences. The definition on this device is better than I’ve seen, even in the stores. Try a spreadsheet that has a lot of cells - its wonderful. Also, it’s great to have two, three and more windows open and see each easily. Now, there are a lot of curved monitors out there, most more expensive than this Samsung, but I trust Samsung as Ive used their printers and TV screens for years with few if any issues. I resized the icons that were appropriate sizes for may last computer, to a larger size - the proportional fit is perfect. I don’t do gaming but I can promise you that this monitor will be great for gaming, looking at Google Earth, watching nature productions and similar “shows”. There is a USB port in the rear of the monitor. Cons: Like other monitors of this size and price, the monitor does not raise or lower. It compensates for your particular need by tilt up and down. All-in-all, it works for my average size. The size of the monitor is almost too large for me. I do need to turn my head to view the monitor from edge top edge, but as I said above, that’s easily resolved by resizing any open window. So, final message is, buy this monitor for your desktop needs – it’s really great.

> 3 dayThis monitor is an absolute gem. No, its not 4K resolution capable but youd never know it. Its gorgeous, its huge, its curved, and it immerses you in whatever your doing, completely. I have it coupled to my Sapphire Radeon 6950XT via a Displayport 4.0 cable, and it is simply outstanding. Well worth the money.

> 3 dayI have had this monitor for roughly 2 months now and It has been great. The picture quality is fantastic compared to my old BenQ (XL2411P) and when compared to friends, it seems to be better and more vibrant. Although this monitor is great, there are 3 big downsides. Biggest and most important, its very fragile and flimsy. I have it sitting on a monitor riser and even typing this I can see the monitor shaking badly. Highly recommended a mount or a very, very large separated surface for this monitor. Secondly, the overall size of this monitor is crazy. The base and legs are 16in-18in across, even vertically is quite long. Not only is this a space issue but it also causes part of the flimsiness I had talked about. Third but not nearly as important, there are some monitor settings that are just missing in my opinion. On my BenQ there were TONS of color and vibrancy options and you could fine tune it so much. With this G5, you still can but there is a hell of a lot less to pick from as far as customization goes. Overall, its great but If you are looking to fine tune it to your EXACT liking, this may not be for you. Overal 7.5/10

> 3 dayThis is an amazing monitor to use for gaming, art, and entertainment. It is life changing going from 60hz 1080p to going to 120hz 1440p. Seeing more frames and having a clearer resolution makes your reaction times in games like Valorant, CS:GO, DOOM Eternal, and other shooters much more faster after getting used to it of course. I also use this monitor as my primary monitor for using 3d modeling software such as Blender. Having a bigger screen means having a bigger workspace for the models and the effects. For other forms of digital art you have a larger canvas to look at. Lastly, for entertainment such as videos and movies, if the resolution of the media can go to 1440p it is great, if not, then 1080p is what you get. This is a great monitor for productivity, highly recommend for anyone for anything!

> 3 dayHad the monitor for 9 months before the the screen started delaminating from the bezel at Top Center. I registered my monitor on Samsungs website to find out I had 20 days left on a one year warranty. After jumping though many hoops I spoke to a rep and had a repair ticket in. They game me a label to ship the monitor to a repair center. It took them about 2 days to replace the screen and sent the monitor back. Upon return, I did a dead pixel check and found 2 dead pixels with the new screen. Unfortunate but what can you do : / On the bright side I cannot really see them unless I look for them. Other than these issues the monitor has been great.
