19-12-2024i gave 5 stars because that is the rating this monitor deserves... the seller, not so much... it took a while, but i finally understood the difference between QHD and 4K.... in laymens terms, QHD (1440p) is NOT the same as 4K (2160p)... the sellers sales pitch made it seem like QHD and 4K are the same thing... this monitor is QHD, and i bought it thinking it was 4K... also, this monitor only costs $400, and a samsung actual 4k monitor with the same features and specs as this one costs $900+. which begs the question: where does the extra $500 go??? why is there such a BIG difference in price between QHD and 4K?? anyways, this is a great monitor, but i can really do without the trickery from the seller...

> 3 dayFirst off, Id like to say I got this for about 400 dollars hence why I am calling it a budget ultrawide monitor. Great monitor for the price I got it for though. While it does have noticable motion blur like almost any other VA panel at this price range, it isnt terrible. The ultrawide experience though is something else. If you can get this thing for 450 or under, buy it. Trust me ultrawide monitors are a completely different field compared to standard monitors, even if this isnt as large as a g9, it is still beautiful with its curve and feel, youll never want to l go back to a regular monitor after this.

Greater than one weekso i got this as a gift to myself and ive been working my butt off to get some new stuff i needed for my set up i honestly didnt want something this big but it works and fits where i needed it and the 32 fits well where i put it and has the foot print of a 27 inch monitor with the curve being so drastic make sure you get a very good arm cause shes heavy and it nearly face planted on my monitor arm a few times so i had to really wrench down the arms mount good it has all the features you come to expect from samsung great quality picture and all my only complaint is they dont have a 1080p 240hz version or that this monitor cant down clock to 1080p 240hz if needed to cause this would take over as my main monitor as the picture quality is great at 1440p 144hz dont get me wrong its just for me as a gamer i just dont know if i would use this as my main on fps games

> 3 dayBought 2 of these, as a birthday gift to my self. I was happy at first, then the gremlins started to appear with in a month. I flickers when ever I am on a predominantly white back ground, you see it mostly on the right side of the screen. With in 6 months, the physical screen started to delaminate, from the plastic frame, it started small, but eventually the glue used to bond it to the plastic failed to hold it in place along the top of the screen. This issue leads into my next major issue. The delaminating some how caused the screen to crack right down the middle. Only thing I can imagine is, the bottom is properly glued down, top was not and the difference caused a warping of some sort, and the stress snapped the screen. When this happened, I called Samsung to request a warranty repair, obviously the delaminating issue needed to be fixed, and some how caused the screen to crack on one monitor, and I had two of them, both having the delam issue, I was scared my second monitor was going to crack as well. If you have never called Samsung, to request a warranty repair of a major defect, count your blessings. The gentleman I dealt with was way less than helpful, required me to take photos and text them to him, and then promptly accused me of somehow breaking the screen and it was looking that I would need to pay to ship it back to them so they could quote me the repair costs. Long story short, after arguing with this guy for over an hour to try and get the defects fixed, I was left angry, frustrated, and disgusted to the point I have decided to get rid of any Samsung items I have. Sold my Samsung washer and dryer, gave away my Samsung dishwasher, I have pulled every Samsung SSD hard drives out of my 3 computers and replaced them with better quality ones. I will be giving away the 1 remaining partially broken monitor. This time, I am going with AOC for my big monitors, should have never switched from them in the first place. Samsung is big enough where I dont matter, but if they let their quality keep going the way its going, Samsung will be just another little peon like me. You can do much better quality wise and for significantly cheaper that these G5 models. They are garbage, and for the price they get for them, these things should be flawless. Good luck if you choose to purchase, prepare for disappointment.

> 3 dayOverall it is an excellent monitor. Comes in at 144hz but you can easily overclock to 165hz and it stays stable. Samsung has quality products and I havent really had many issues with the screen. I do love the curve and the size of this monitor. Cons: Compared to my 1440p Dell monitor the colors are slightly washed even after adjusting the settings. (Not a deal breaker it still looks good just noticeable against my other monitor) Some backlight bleed through on very dark scenes. Overall 4/5 stars especially because it was only 270 bucks when I bought it so for that price it is well worth it. The G7 is obviously a better model but the price reflects that. For most gamers this model will be more than enough. I dont notice much screen tearing on FPS games or sports games which is nice so the response time is actually what it says it is. I havent had any durability issues as some others have stated in reviews. I however do not use the stand it comes with but a vesa mount from my desk.

Greater than one weekOverall, I really like this monitor. The picture quality is amazing. The main gripe I have is the single function button. This would be fine when the monitor is on. However, this also serves as the power on/off button. In case the engineers didnt know, or forgot, an on-screen menu doesnt appear when the monitor is off. The other gripe is the stand provided for this monitor. In order to turn this monitor on, you have to press the button once, rock it forward once, then press the button again. It is fiddly at the best of times, Other times, youll be rocking and clicking the button like youre mining for bitcoin. There should be a separate power button for the monitor. You really want to consider mounting this monitor rather than using the provided stand. While the stand does work, you will notice A LOT of wobble on the monitor due to the weight and the stand being located in the back, on the bottom. I personally feel that when you start getting larger than 28 monitors, you really need to provide a more stable, centralized stand. Overall, this is still a great buy for the price. Im very happy overall and would recommend the monitor to others. Just keep in mind the single button issue.

> 3 dayHad the monitor for 9 months before the the screen started delaminating from the bezel at Top Center. I registered my monitor on Samsungs website to find out I had 20 days left on a one year warranty. After jumping though many hoops I spoke to a rep and had a repair ticket in. They game me a label to ship the monitor to a repair center. It took them about 2 days to replace the screen and sent the monitor back. Upon return, I did a dead pixel check and found 2 dead pixels with the new screen. Unfortunate but what can you do : / On the bright side I cannot really see them unless I look for them. Other than these issues the monitor has been great.

> 3 daySince buying this monitor it has proven to be a bit glitchy. It has at times not wanted to turn on causing my MoBo to give a VGA alarm/light. At first I thought it was my new video card, so I swapped it out to my old one and got the same alarm, put the new one back in then started messing with the power button on the monitor. Surprise everything is working fine again. Other than that glitch, I love this monitor, and will never return to a normal flat panel again. While gaming it has given me ZERO problems. No screen tearing, no vsync issues, and my frame rates have been very stable. Even my 3DMark scores have been out of this world for a stock clocked PC. Win 10 Pro 20H2 Asus ROG Stryx X570E mobo Ryzon 7 3800X cpu 32GB of Corsair ram Saphire 6700xt Nitro+ video card Update: After downloading then installing the 1006.0 firmware update from samsung all of the glitchy behavior has gone away. No more alarms, no more flickering with certain apps, and the power button now works properly.

Greater than one weekThe monitor is nice, everything youd expect, however it showed up with a dead pixel close to the center of the screen.
