> 3 dayThe app isn’t as nice as the roomba app, you can’t schedule cleaning multiple times a day. Or use it in other levels of a home. Hopefully Shark will improve the app soon. But other than that this beats my roomba in every other way. Quieter, more efficient, better mapping, less bumping and scuffing. It never gets lost, stuck or quits at a cliff. The whiskers spin slower so they don’t fling things around. The rollers don’t fill with dog hair and need cleaned every week and I have yet to come home and find it uncharged, hidden under a sofa and not on the dock. I did not think I’d like the auto empty feature but I do, very much. And I like that it’ll empty midway thru cleaning and go back to work. So much less dust when I don’t have to empty the tiny bin daily. I just wish these things cleaned pet hair just a little bit better and it’d almost replace my upright or stick vac….but that’s just not the case. But it helps.

Greater than one weekThis little guy is so great. It was easy to set up, and made a map of our main floor that was surprisingly good after just one run. The battery life is pretty decent and the suction level must be good cause he hasnt missed anything yet! He looks like a lil trilobite swimming about your home. He makes a soft whirring sound as he goes about, but I find it a pleasant sound, and its nice to know if hes coming up behind you. Hes a bit loud when empties, but it only lasts for 4 seconds so whatever. Hes only gotten stuck once in the last 6 weeks of daily use, and that was on me for leaving out small Halloween decorations on the floor. I agonized over which brand to buy, but I have loved my upright Shark vacuums in the past, and for half the price of some other brands I figured it was worth a shot. No regrets! Minor issues: For the first week, he ran himself at 3 am instead of his scheduled 9 am. That was a bit of a shock when he emptied in the dead of the night. But after resetting him to factory settings, hes agreed to clean on schedule. He did get disconnected from the internet once, but I was able to just re add him again to the app and delete the old one and everything is fine again! Lastly, it doesnt really work great with Google home, as far as voice control goes. This seems to be a Google issue rather than the robot, so maybe theyll fix that in the future. Maybe. If you went Google home instead of Alexa like your friends, you probably know exactly what Im talking about. Overall, its absolutely worth the price and Ill never go without again!

Greater than one weekI upgraded from my iRobot about a week ago. There wasnt really anything wrong, per se, with that device, but I wasnt happy with its cleaning. I got a puppy about 3 months ago, and the iRobot just didnt do a good job of sucking up the hair. Well, after a week of using the Shark AI robot vacuum, I am impressed. Daily!! It was super easy to set up. And the mapping function is amazing. Initially I was going to run it every other day, but seeing how much it picks up daily, I will be using it Monday-Friday!! The dust bin is supposed to be a 60 day capacity, but, with how much it does pick up, I have to empty it every other day!! The noise factor. Its much quieter than a standard vacuum!! The loudest part is when it empties the cup into the dust bin which only lasts for about 10-15 seconds. I love that I could set it to clean and empty every 30 minutes and resume where it left off. I also love that I could set it to recharge and resume when the battery is low. Which brings me to the battery. I get about 1hr of cleaning on a full charge. But, I do have it set to max cleaning, which will use more battery. But, since it will recharge and resume, I do not have to think about a thing!! The spot clean is great for those quick messes!! Using the map it created, I can send Sharkira (the name I chose for it) to that spot, she cleans and goes right back to the dock. I was able to set high traffic zones to send Sharkira to those areas to do Ultra cleaning if needed!! It also provides the option to do specific rooms if needed. All in all, this is a 5 star unit!!! Next upgrade, I will be adding the unit that also does mopping!! Hope this review helps your decision to purchase this Shark AI robot vacuum!!

> 3 dayWhen I first got it, the option to have it dock after 30 mins of cleaning was on and it was taking almost a full day to clean my 1900 sq ft home between cleaning and charging. In fact, I was in the process of returning it because of this. However, once I realized what the issue was and shut it off, it was better. Even still, it will only clean about an hour before the battery runs low and it has to dock. After an hour of charging, it will then will start again and finish the rest of my house in the next hour. I still dont get the inefficient cleaning pattern it chooses because it will clean one room then all of a sudden go across my house to clean another room only to have to make a bee-line back to the first room to finish. I used to have another unknown brand that I loved but it was damaged by a dog toy that clogged the roller and damaged the part that holds and spins the roller. After about a month of research and comparison shopping, I chose this model based on the reviews and the features it had. It does a good job and eventually it will clean the house over a 3 hour period - so its good for now. Pros: - Good suction - does well with pet hair; I have 3 dogs and a cat - The self-empty feature is really good and not as noisy as others while emptying - It does eventually clean every area of my house, well - Back and forth cleaning pattern vs. bump and go - Always finds its way back to the docking station - Handles all my rugs well without getting stuck, dragging them or folding them over. Cons: - Battery life stinks - App is terrible - I have to log in each time I open it. Plus, it does not show you real-time information - it is only available after it docks.

> 3 dayI love that it empties itself out. It maps out the area and cleans anything it can get under. This has a hepa filter which is also a bonus. I have a service dog that does not shed and wears boots... she has a friend that always sheds. This shark picks up all the sand and fur that her friend drags in with her. This dont replace vacuums (get a mop and vac combo) but it is great for getting under the bed!

> 3 dayI have mixed feelings about this robot, who we named Hank (you are supposed to name him for the app). I find him to be quieter than a regular vacuum, and the suction in normal mode is very good. Our carpets and hardwood floors get very clean. However, he seems to suffer from some form of dementia. We have had him map our very small 1-story home twice, have labeled the rooms that we want cleaned. He starts out great. Does the living room, moves on to the bedroom, and begins the kitchen. So far so good. At around this point he goes back to the dock to empty himself. He then returns to where he was in the kitchen.....and then quits the kitchen and meanders into the living room and goes back over a section he has already done, wanders over by the front door and spends a minute or two going over that area again, goes in circles for a short time, and returns to do the kitchen again. About 10 minutes after emptying, he apparently remembers that there is a dining room. He does the dining room. He then returns to the living room for the third time and moves with a lack of pattern over areas he has already done twice. He may revisit the kitchen for a third time. Left alone, he will eventually return to the dock and be done, but we get tired of avoiding him (if we stand in front of him he apparently thinks his map now has a new wall, and he is clueless enough without adding that) and we just say ok good enough Hank, and instruct him via the app to go back to the dock and stop. This robot would likely work well if he were run while nobody was home so he can backtrack and circle and redo till his battery runs out (assuming he doesnt have some sort of error code at some point). I am not sure what the AI in his name refers to, but the I is presumably not for intelligence. I might suggest looking elsewhere.

> 3 dayHaving to use two canes it is difficult to use a regular vacuum. Now I just tell Hazel to do it for me. She does a good job. I havent tried her with Alexa yet but will soon. I highly recommend the Shark AI based on value.

> 3 dayMaps easy and runs it’s course. But does nut vacuum that well leaves small bits and bugs. The Ben is only filled with dust after 3 months of use.

> 3 dayI hace been using my shark for months. It works great and it saves me so much time. It cleans well. It makes less noise than my old vacuum cleaner but there is some noise. Not a big deal for me. I love that it saves me time and allows me to keep up with the dog hair. I will definitely buy another one for the first level of the house so I don’t have to move it from second floor to the first.

> 3 dayWe have a cat and two German shepherds. This thing is a must have unless you enjoy vacuuming on a daily basis. I chose this over doing lots of research with just about every brand due to the fact that this has a bag less design. The description says 60 days without emptying the bin. That may be true for other people, but for me with our pets. I need to empty this thing between 1-2 weeks just with pet hair. If I had a model that required bags, I’d be paying the cost of this unit just in bags every year. This thing has already run through dog poop and urine. Which obviously should be avoided, but after some quick disassembly and cleaning it was back up in a few days going strong. Navigation is great and it cleans my whole first floor in about an hour. The only con for me is the app but there’s really nothing bad about it, it just could stand to have some more features. All in all this thing is great.
