So far Im loving this. It does a much better job than I expected it to. Its mapped the house and just goes about its business. It does take awhile, but worth it.

Great technology and will limit how much you use the full size vacuum, depending on traffic patterns and pets. However the Shark App is buggy and the app support is poor; called on a Thursday, the level one person could not resolve a registration problem, it is now Tuesday night and have yet to hear from Shark... Without the app you can use the robot but would asssume it was designed to learn via AI which would greatly improve what the vacuum can do through learning.... I will report back after Shark support gets the app working..., overall the technology is still emerging but is still impressive but comes at a high price. Cant wait to see were appliance robot technology is in a couple of years.

I chose this to replace my less smart random motion robot. I wanted something a little more organized and with good suction for my carpet. This guy (“Wall-E”) made a pretty great map his first run. I was worried because a lot of reviews said he never does a good job on their map. I followed the setup instructions and he made a full “checking the scene out” run without having to be recharged and the map is accurate. Wall-e does tend to get stuck on things and shut down which is annoying when I’m at work and can’t do anything about it until he’s fully dead. At least he shuts himself down and doesn’t hurt himself trying to get free. But it’s my fault for not picking little things up. keep his path clear and he will do a great job for you. He does a great job on my carpet and wood floors. No problems with rugs. He doesn’t like my sliding glass door trays but he can navigate them ok just gets a little hung up. The emptying mechanism is great. Loud for any night-time use but I don’t use it at night anyway. I’ve done specific rooms once and it worked for me (other reviews were negative on this feature) but I think that has to do with the map. If the map isn’t right then it won’t work. No complaints with the battery life I haven’t really timed it out but my 2800 sq ft house can be done with maybe 1-2 battery charges and it takes a few hours. I would buy this again and recommend it to my family looking for one.

I hace been using my shark for months. It works great and it saves me so much time. It cleans well. It makes less noise than my old vacuum cleaner but there is some noise. Not a big deal for me. I love that it saves me time and allows me to keep up with the dog hair. I will definitely buy another one for the first level of the house so I don’t have to move it from second floor to the first.

I am shocked at how well this Shark robot works! It is better than my swiffer and vacuum. I have 2 yellow Labradors and this is great to keep the floors looking good! I wish I bought this sooner!

I love everything about this vacuum! Mapped out my house and designated rooms on the app. I can set it to clean an individual room, the whole house or spot clean from anywhere with the handy Shark app. My floors have never been so clean. I set up no go areas on the app too, so he stays out of my kids rooms. Enter there at your own risk lol. They can vacuum their own room and I dont have to fear of this guy getting lost in their vortex of a room. However, if he does get stuck somewhere you get a notification on the app and you can locate him with the app too. It is also nice not having to empty him, he empties himself and I empty the been every couple of weeks and give him a good clean. Highly recommend this vacuum! Worth every penny, no doubt about it.

The app isn’t as nice as the roomba app, you can’t schedule cleaning multiple times a day. Or use it in other levels of a home. Hopefully Shark will improve the app soon. But other than that this beats my roomba in every other way. Quieter, more efficient, better mapping, less bumping and scuffing. It never gets lost, stuck or quits at a cliff. The whiskers spin slower so they don’t fling things around. The rollers don’t fill with dog hair and need cleaned every week and I have yet to come home and find it uncharged, hidden under a sofa and not on the dock. I did not think I’d like the auto empty feature but I do, very much. And I like that it’ll empty midway thru cleaning and go back to work. So much less dust when I don’t have to empty the tiny bin daily. I just wish these things cleaned pet hair just a little bit better and it’d almost replace my upright or stick vac….but that’s just not the case. But it helps.

I had been contemplating upgrading my iRobot 670 for some time. It wasn’t really doing the job. I have 2 dogs, both heavy shedders. Working full-time and going to school full time I wanted something to help maintain a clean floor. This isn’t a replacement for a regular vacuum but it really comes close and does a great job. The mapping created during initial exploration is very accurate and the robot follows it each time. The floor upon which it roams is probably 90% low pile carpet (the bane of my existence until I can replace it with vinyl plank). Keep in mind, if there are any loose threads they will get caught. This is common for me because my husky and German shepherd so if I see one, I cut it to avoid that problem. For those who are terrible at cable management such as myself, it will normally navigate around or over cords though I would keep them clear. Small cables like mini USB or charging cables can get sucked up. It has three suction modes (eco, normal and max). For my purposes I always use Max and it’s not incredibly noisy. It is far quieter than my old Roomba. I can still watch tv comfortably and hear perfectly fine while its running. The self-emptying bin works great. Some complain it’s loud but it’s not that bad, and c’mon, it only takes about 10 seconds. The first couple times I ran it, I had to manually empty the dust cup on the robot because of dog hair. I think it was just finding more than I got with my regular vacuum. Now, running it once daily I haven’t had to do it. Oh, another great thing about this robot is the roller. Dog hair will not get caught in it !! With my old Roomba, I had to de-hair the roller after each use. Overall, this unit was significantly more than I ever wanted to pay, but so far it’s been worth it because of its efficiency and low maintenance. I’m really happy that I pulled the trigger.

Vacuum works well. Cleans as well if not better than any manual vacuum we have owned. Still a challenge to handle all the pet hair but this is not a surprise given all the fur my dog puts out. Mop feature works well with good cleaner.
