> 3 dayI previously had less expensive robot vacuum of another brand and it worked well for about a year until the pets killed it out of curiosity. I went about 6 months without it but definitely missed it with 2 dogs and 2 cats inside. I had major rotator cuff surgery some months back and vacuuming still irritates my shoulder so I went to looking for another robot vacuum to help. I settled on this one and love it! I run it at least once a day throughout the house common areas about half standard carpet and half LVP flooring. My house is large so it runs quite a bit. The battery charge can all the areas in one charge and I have it set to automatically return to station to empty when it gets full then it return vacuuming. It picks up pretty well and makes it much easier to keep carpets clean. I still vacuum weekly with my corded shark upright because cordless vacuums don’t have the power corded do but sure make life easier. This little guy picks up everything from flour to cat food, it’s low profile enables it to reach under cabinets and into corners and it’s pretty good at emptying its canister but sometimes will let you know it needs help and you have to manually emptying out the canister but overall it works great !

> 3 dayI just checked and we bought this model 13 months ago now, so I thought I would share the good, the bad and the meh? For context we have a 1500 sq.ft. home with all solid surface floors. Good: We have a very heavy shedding dog (English Springer Spaniel) and this does a reasonable daily job of getting the hair. It is more convenient than having to hand vacuum every day. Bad: If that seems like a very brief good list , it reflects a growing disenchantment. The longer you live with this the less there is to love. First, it never really does learn your home as advertised. It is just as hard on furniture and walls today as when it first ran. We have started to ask ourselves if the repairs are worth it. Second, it is incredibly glitchy. Cannot seem to stick to an organized approach to its very basic job. It runs increasingly random patterns as opposed to the advertised logical grid. The map needs frequent deleting and relearning. It cannot even stick to a consistent schedule. Since there is no way to manually adjust the time for the unit, it should go by the time in the app. It does not. Online searching shows many other frustrated users but no solution. Which leads right into yet another disappointment; the woefully inadequate support you will suffer. As in worthless. It is also noisy. As bad as our regular vacuum. Speaking of which, hang on to your old one. You will need to use it frequently for all the places that this misses. By the time you tear it apart every week for deep cleaning, fiddle with the very awkward scheduling, try to adjust its power settings and repair damage to baseboards and furniture, you are left as we are, wondering exactly when we bite the bullet and toss this into the trash. In our case, I think the little monster is enjoying its last week. Overall I would not say that we got our moneys worth.

> 3 daySo I’ve had this vacuum for near a month now. This is my first robot vacuum. I can say without a doubt that I’m truly impressed. It 100% deserves the #1 Best Seller spot for robot vacuums. Although, it DOES have its CONS. Let’s get the cons out of the way. Let me preface, I have a mainly hardwood house, and it EXCELS, on hardwood, gets basically everything. Although, we have this really thick shag carpet in the living room, that the shark does not like. Sometimes I can rub my fingers through the carpet and feel little tiny crumbs or something, BUT; on the app, you can turn on the max suction setting which helps it a lot. Sometimes gets lost, and the map takes FOREVER to create on the app. Basically how it works is that after so many cleans, the Shark will have a map of your house memorized. I have been running it quite literally everyday for this past month, two months. Still no progress on the map progression. So I have no clue if it’s just me changing things around In the house or what but I really wish I could get that feature to work. *You can get around this by simply picking the vacuum up and bringing it to the room you want cleaned, start off at a corner, and press the clean button* Now the pros!, when I tell you that this vacuum literally gets everything, I am not lying. I empty it maybe every two weeks and there’s always big noice clumps of dust, hair, crumbs, etc. it truly is a phenomenal machine. Like the title says, it self empties, which is so freaking cool! I’m an extremely lazy person and good Lord that is so clutch to have. Anyways I hoped this help somebody at some point! Thanks Shark!

Greater than one weekI’m not sure if this was a great buy for me or not. It took me months to get this little vacuum and myself too coexist together. Every day when I come home, I have to check to make sure it’s on the port and if not, I have to search my house for it. I bought this because somebody had wrote that it did really well with picking up birdseed it does not and then also it clogs all the time. If you don’t have pets it would work great.

> 3 dayProbably should have bought a brand new one. It was amazing when it worked. But buying refurbished is always a risk.

> 3 dayIts a good vacuum but for what its being sold for dont buy it. There are far better robots out there. If you want to stay with Shark go with one of their LiDAR robots. They track a lot better. Pros: Self empty dock works great. No-go zones. Great suction and good pickup. Easy to maintain. Good edge tracking. Cons: Doesnt work in the dark due to being a camera system. Doesnt clean corners well. Tracking is okay at best, doesnt know where it is sometimes. App is okay, used to be worse.

> 3 daySo my boyfriend already has this model so I knew I wanted it bc its AMAZING. I have 2 dogs that shed like crazy and its a daily battle to keep the dirt level down. I had a another cheaper robovac but it doesnt map and was quite stupid, honestly. It would get off the dock and immediately head for the one place it always got stuck. Plus the dust cup was minuscule and brushes pretty cheap...but it helped keep the dust and dander and fur to a sort of acceptable layer between my weekly moppings and eod vacuuming. Anyway... I was constantly jealous over the bfs overkill of a robovac since hes already a pretty clean guy and only has a very sedentary cat that barely sheds.... Seemed like such a waste of such fine cleaning abilities and large dust storage... After many unsuccessful attempts to get him to trade me, and then just buy me one, I broke down and looked at the available options. I was distraught. Hell no, I couldnt afford a new one. Couldnt afford one like new or even used, good. But thats when I saw the used, acceptable with large cosmetic blemishes for nearly half the price. Who cares about a pretty face, I asked myself? Certainly not me, as I threw a resentful glance at the boyfriend. I took the future of my clean floors in my own hands and ordered. It came the next day in its original packaging that had obviously once been opened but at least put back together with care... And it still had the stickers on the base and vac! There were a few scuffs on the top and bottom but hey, nothing I couldnt live with. On a whim I grabbed a microfiber cloth and started swiping... And much to my delight the scuffs came right off and I have what appears to be a nearly new shark robovac for half the price. Yes, you can tell its been run maybe once. But the brushes were still in the packaging and the dust cup has nary a spec inside. Score!! Connecting to wifi was tedious but ONLY bc it was my stupid android phone being.. Well... Android. It wouldnt give me the wifi network for reasons I still cant figure out...but after several hours of resetting wifi and multiple other interventions I had enough. Out of desperation I used my company iphone and had it connected in less than a minute, then just logged in to the app through my personal phone and havent had an issue at all. So if youre having issues, try a different phone first before you unplug every wifi device in the house, reset your router, reinstall the app, and reboot your phone.....for the 4th time. Conclusion: Buy it. Even the used acceptable one. Try another phone before giving up on the wifi connection. My little Ruby is now happily mapping my home and I look forward to clean floors and minimal dust emptying. Now, if I can just get that microfiber cloth to work on the other blemishes in my life....

> 3 dayIt’s a robot vacuum. We have only laminate floors, so it works beautifully, but I doubt it would do well on carpet. The small device just doesn’t produce enough suction (in my opinion). My biggest gripe is the SharkClean app. It’s terrible. Even their website is buggy. For example, I cannot register the device with the app. I enter ask the required info but the app will not save it. It also will not send the info to their servers. I tried through the website and it requires a 15-character model number, but the model number on my device is only 10 characters, so it doesn’t work there either. There are various other settings in the app that will not save either. It’s very frustrating.

> 3 dayWe’ve had “Carson” for about 6 weeks, running the daily route about the house. The messy parakeet feathers and mess are no match for this little helper. Unexpectedly, the old carpet is looking much better, too! The daily fluff and cleaning is really doing it good. We highly recommend this product!
