I use this to help light my wood stove, so in the heating season, it is stored in my living room and used daily. One morning I was lighting the fire, but the propane tank was absolutely empty, which was surprising. I started to screw in a new tank and could immediately feel propane leaking around the ignitor trigger. I immediately headed outdoors as I removed the trigger-start mechanism. I believe this device vented the contents of the propane canister into my living room. You can imagine the possible results. I plan to contact the Consumer Product Safety Council (CPSC) to report this defect.

I had one for years that quit working so I needed another. This worked great right out of the box, but after about a month it would not light and I had to use a lighter. I was about to return it but it started working again. Worked most of the time for several weeks -- but not always. Then it worked every time again. Hoping it keeps working because I am past the return window.

Works well and has lit consistantly. Wish gas adjustment had a little more friction to it so it would stay where I had it set since it always seems to turn when I carry it out to where ever I need to use it.

This is amazing. Easy to use and powerful. No more needed to day.

Nice torch, has a good concentrated flame and when you hook it to the hose opinion it allows you to work at any angle without the tank hindering you.

Expensive, but worth the money! Quality and well made product. Got tired of using old-fashion flint striker. This accessory works every time!
