Well made, easy to hold, firm consistent controls and ignition button. Ill buy the same one if this ever breaks, probably way in the future.

Bought this to replace my last Bernzomatic torch that was over 10 years old, & took one too many anger-fueled flights across my garage. This one is even better than that last one, due to the ability to adjust the gas flow ... and shut completely off if needed. If I can control myself I should get at least another 10 years out of this one. Only the knob is plastic - everything else is metal. The way things are SUPPOSED to be built. Are you listening GM, Ford, Chrysler, etc .. ??? As usual, Amazon couldnt be beat for the price.

Arrived on time to do some brake work. Had to use it, and it was easy to use, and hotter than my old strike to start torch. Ill never go back.

Tip that works on those blue, yellow, and Coleman camping propane cylinders. Works fine on automotive uses. Wide flame, which suits me perfectly.

Needed to replace my old torch. It developed a leak around the valve stem and one day the flame managed to follow the leak to the valve stem. I had no idea that was happening. I envisioned the tank getting hot and exploding. I was outside so I tossed the tank with torch attached and hosed it down to keep it cool hoping the flame would go out. It did. Then I could remove the torch from the tank and all was good. Replaced the old brass torch with this new model. I liked the old torch made of brass, had it for 35 years. The new torch burns much hotter and the trigger start is great. Better than the spark igniter I used for those 35 years. Also the old torch had problems with vaporizing the gas and would sputter and go out. The new one has none of those problems. The trigger start feature saves fuel because it is so easy to relight it.
