Trigger Start Torch

> 3 dayI had one of these TS8000s. It started leaking out the hole in the handle (terrible place to leak, considering it was a 2 foot flame coming out of it.) Propane is corrosive to o-rings, so this will go bad in a few years if you dont remove the tank. I called Bernzomatic they gave me a return number and said go to the big hardware store and I would get a new one under warranty. So now I have two of these great torches.

> 3 dayI bought this specifically to light lump charcoal in my Kamado style grill and it works great. I used to utilize a metal chimney and it took far too long to set it all up for everything to light and get up to temp. With this, the charcoal is lit in about 10 seconds and comes up to temp quite fast; no lighter fluid or other accelerants required.

> 3 dayDude wow!! Im jus gonna say I didnt know there was any real difference in torches and I took off my $13 one that Ive been using for years and OMG this new one is amazing!! Lights each and every time and has COMPETE control over the flame. Im so excited. I can tilt the torch in any direction which makes me extremely happy bc I normally use it upside down.. Excellent buy!!!

> 3 dayEasy and simple to use especially with the Searzall ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00L2P0KNO/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0) for kitchen use. I still need to try it for its normal use tho :-)

Greater than one weekI love this torch so much that i have 2 of them. I work for a water conditioning company and have used this to solder 3/8 all the way up to 2 copper. Tried it with propane once, the flame is not as concentrated as mapp. Stick with mapp, it has more btus and they are focused in the primary flame. You need a second torch to clean the solder out of the tip of the first, but any torch will get an irregular flame if you dribble solder or flux into the tip. Will easily cut torch time in half or less over the cheap propane torch set. I wont use anything else.
