So, in an effort to keep my kids engaged and off of electronics while isolated in the house we purchased this and lots of white clothing. We went through everything and I ended up dying pillow cases and really everything possible....and yes, I ended up.... I enjoyed this activity more than the kids and found it quite therapeutic. Ive purchased two if these kits and have enjoyed every drop of color. Just beware: the dye isnt great and washed out easily. Make sure and wash separately for the first few washes so that you dont stain other clothes

Pigment was very bright. I knocked a star off because one of the colors had exploded in the box and it was all over EVERYTHING causing pink splotches randomly, the reds and oranges didn’t dissolve as well as the blues, and our green was actually a teal. There was more that we had dyed though and we had fun. We bought a bunch of shirts from Burlington and TJ Maxx to spruce them up a bit. Over all even with pink all over the place, this is probably the best kit I’ve used.

This kit was the best, we made 5 boys wife beaters and four womens shirts and had a ton leftover. My grandson is 6 and had the best time. I would hope we do it again next summer

This tie dye kit is amazing!! The colors are bright and vibrant. The bottles were prefilled with powder dye and just needed water added. So easy to use!! The gloves are very thin and dont last long but I expected that. This kit is large and will color a lot of items. Would definitely buy again. Great value for the money!!

I bought a set of these after watching a youtube video. I had done some tie dying in my youth but mainly one color using standard dye and a bucket. The Tulip dyes are super easy to use, and the kit includes gloves and rubber bands. The dye is already in the squirt bottles ready to be activated with water, just shake and squirt. I used the classic twist method for 3 shirts (grab in the middle and twist into a tight puck, then rubber band into pie-like sections). It was very easy to direct the dye into the sections. Once the puck was completed, I turned over and repeated on the back side, then put them in plastic bags to proof for 24 hours. A quick rinse, wash, and they turned out great. The colors are very vibrant and looked amazing when they were done. I have washed the shirts 4-5 times and they have held up pretty well, faded only slightly. The only thing I might improve on this kit is to include extra dye. There is really only enough color in one bottle to do one shirt (I used 3 colors per shirt and used the entire bottle of each color on that one shirt, front and back). In other words, you can generally only use a particular color on one shirt if you are really looking to get good color and penetration. Fun kit for the kids, just make sure to protect surfaces as this can stain.

I had a tie dye party and invited a bunch of friends, all in our mid to late twenties. So much fun! I will say that the for five thing is inaccurate - all together, we dyed four t-shirts, a tank top, an apron (mine - pic attached), a canvas bag, and TWELVE bandanas, and still had plenty of dye left.

Worked pretty well for a project we wanted to do with our labcoats. Started to fade with a few washes but that might have just been the chemicals from the lab who knows lol.
