My kids complained the wi-fi was no good in their room. Purchased this for them. Read some reviews about it sometimes being complicated to set up to the modem. But when it arrived in the mail, my 12 old son had it set up in about 2 minutes. He said it was really simple to set up and now both kids have good wi-fi reception in their rooms. My son said the instructions are not in english so it must have been simple to install.

It is a very effective way to extend and internet connection. It always works and setup was very easy. There wont be any more signal drops in your house if setup properly. instant improvement of not just connection strength but actual speed for every device on the east end of the house. The Essentials version saves you some money while providing exactly the same performance. Very pleased with the results.

Works like a charm. And like that is has an ethernet port on the bottom. Was great to extend our signal to a remote office and be able to use our Voip Phone.

Setting up was very straight forward and relatively easy. The connection has definitely improved. I would recommend this unit for people who like to extend wifi radius in homes with large areas.

Our router is upstairs in our two story house. My laptop would connect and then drop the connection. I researched online to see if it was problem with my laptop as the provider suggested since I was able to connect but didnt have internet: ip address wrong,dns probe, etc. After Numerous calls to the provider resulted in a run-around: check your computer(brand new laptop), maybe something wrong with dsl line, software update on router, etc., but it was still occurring at regular intervals. One last call to provider. I asked about an extender and he said this could be the problem...this was after three months of calls....so I ordered this one rather than pay an outrageous price to the provider. It really does the job. It was easy to setup and I have not had one dropped connection. Set up gave it the same name as my modem with an EXT behind it and I used the same password. I love it and am thinking of buying one for our rented winter condo because the reception is slow there also. Frustration over. PS. If you are wondering why I put up with the provider, we live in a small town with limited options for connection to the internet.

The range is awesome it can connect through thick walls in my case have 2 solid concrete walls and no problems connecting at 100+ Mbps. Im really way satisfied with this product.

Really dies extend my wifi. Great addon for android tv box. Gives me higher bandwidth than just wifi. Act as if Im plugged into the router with speeds as high as router being hard wired.

Using it in the basement, router is on the other side of my house and upstairs. The device works good, amazing wifi signal to the Roku on the basement TV. I can now use my Kindle on the outside deck.
