I also found out that once the wifi extender is set up, you can increase the wifi speed significantly more by using it in a room of the house that is wired for Internet and connecting the Ethernet cable, thus making it an Access Point!!! Its like Im in the same room as the router

> 3 dayWe were having a lot of issues with out ISP provided modem/wifi router. Ethernet was fine, but wifi was always problematic. I ended up getting this to use as an access point and wow does it work. My phone speed went from under 20Mbps to 90mbps!! No more interruptions or interference either.

Greater than one weekWe have a 3700 Square Foot House and a powerful router, but the basement gets poor reception on the edges so sometimes we get a signal and sometimes we dont. I had an extra router and set that up but its a different network so my phone would automatically switch from one network to the other in the house depending on where I was.I have a Sonos Streaming system and in order to control the different zones, I need to be on the same network. I wasnt sure if this would work for that or not but thought I would give it a try. The set-up was done by connecting this via hardline to my router (I had to supply this cable as it is not included). I then went to a website to set everything up and the network is named the same as my existing network with the same password but with an _EXT at the end of it. I wasnt sure this would work for my Sonos system as the network wasnt exactly the same name-but Voila! It works like a charm. Now I have NO dead spots and strong signals with fast speeds across my entire house. I stream Netflix off of this signal and whatever else.The item took me about 15-20 minutes to set up and now looks plugged in to the wall just like this picture. This is an awesome value. Stop dealing with dead spots in your house and just get this to extend your network and have strong signals everywhere. Bravo!

During setup, I used an option to name the extended network with a different name, family_network_extended, so that I could easily measure or connect to either network, without confusion.This product does what it promises; it substantially boosts signal strength.

Reminder:
- The working status of the repeater can refer to its smart indicator light.
- WiFi signal booster is only limited to increase the coverage of the wireless signal, but not to increase the speed of the network.
- When the repeater expands the signal, it does not need to plug in the network cable. It can receive the signal of the router directly by plugging it into the socket, and transmit the wireless signal.
- When the repeater is unplugged or powered off after the setting is completed, it does not need to be reset. The original configuration information has been saved, unless you manually restore the factory state.
