Works great for me. Just what I wanted, a simply computer to view and send email and surf the web and maybe use for simply word processing and spreadsheets. I would recommend it.

Bought my Acer R11 chromebook 6 weeks ago and couldnt be happier. Used Microsoft PCs and laptops since the mid nineties. And Im done! This does everything I need and does it quick. To get a laptop PC to perform this quick you would need it to be solid state hard drive and with a touch screen you would pay triple the price of this. If you own an Android, phone or tablet there is little to no learning curve. Buy this You Wont be disapointed!!

Build quality is good, android apps are welcome, overall really pleased with it.

Stopped turning on after a month and unfortunately, it took me about 3 months to get it fixed. This is my 3rd time trying to write this review without getting it deleted.

Does everything I needed for my classes. It has replaced all of my notebooks, as well as saved me on printing thanks to its ability to turn into a reader-friendly tablet. Arrived early and does fantastic. The only down side is that it does not work with writing-type styluses. Only simple ones, which does some awful things to my handwriting when taking notes.

I ordered this because of the reviews which made it sound so wonderful. My family wants a second Chrome Book to share. Not as expected. Smaller screen then expected and not light weight. The mouse was not as responsive as my ASUS laptop. I felt it dragged a bit and for that reason I returned it today.

This only lasted 5 months before it completely died on me. I never dropped it nor had it in extreme conditions. Will never buy this again

it turns out there is not a backlit keyboard which I really wanted. it works great no problems at all. delivery was half the time it said it would be.
