Acer Chromebook R 11 Convertible, 11.6-Inch HD Touch, Intel Celeron N3150, 4GB DDR3L, 32GB, CB5-132T-C1LK, Denim White

I have a few complaints about Chromebook, but my biggest complaint is that if you sign in using a school email, it will force your chromebook to be under their administrative controls. This means I am now restricted from doing things on my Chromebook that I would otherwise be able to do. Its a ridiculous system and it doesnt really give you any warnings, and I didnt realize why I was unable to do certain things until about a year after I got it, when I finally got fed up. I hear powerwashing it and using a different email solves the problem, but Im not ready to lose all my data over this. The biggest way I see this is the fact that I am not allowed to access my google play. I would give it 3 stars, but the fact that I can so easily be forced into my schools administrative controls by simply entering an email is beyond ridiculous and the biggest of many reasons why I wont be using chromebook again.

The charger doesnt fit in tightly, but good quality otherwise. Daughter loves it!

Stopped working after couple weeks.

Ive owned several Chromebooks in the past including the Pixel, several Dell models and the original Acer C720. After reading most of the reviews and ratings for the Acer Chromebook R11, I decided to purchase this for my 11yo daughter. I like Acer products, and its not that this is a bad device (especially given the price point) but were are some annoyances and problems that urged me to return it.

I think the Acer company hired the stupid persons who were telling me today on my call that I brought a wrong laptop for my campus teaching technology system.

Everything has worked well so far. Very happy.

Overall very happy with the form factor of the chrome book, as you can quickly switch from laptop to tablet to tent mode.
