I have had chromebook for over a year now. no problems.

I bought this for my daughter to use to take online classes while shes overseas in Europe for a year. Shes been using it for only 4 months and when she unplugged the charger today, it broke IN the machine.

So its a great computer if you only want to use Google things, but if you want to do litteraly anything else this stupid thing isnt compatable, so if you plan to download litteraly anything you need something else!

The computer has difficulty switching between tablet and computer. The screen continually flickers when trying to switch apps. The video is me trying to open Netflix. I just got this thing today & was really excited about it but this has been frustrating & disappointing. Maybe its a fixable bug? I havent ran into much issues at all with other Google products but this doesnt seem to be following that trend.

Excellent replacement for my 6 year old Windows Laptop (almost) and probably my Nexus 7 (2013). I still have a couple of window applications which are essential for running my home. But as for surfing the internet and using some very good apps, this format has tremendous flexibility, especially when tied to Google Voice and a G-mail account. Streaming, audio with bluetooth, and casting are super. Cost factor appropriate for a device without application capability.

Works great. BUT...7 months into purchase, some of the keys on the keyboard stopped functioning. I got the machine repaired by Acer under the 1 year warranty. No issues there, but I did have to pay to ship it to them.

The hardware on this Chromebook R11 Convertible is exactly what I was hoping it would be. No powerhouse, it is still quite capable of performing the tasks I got it for: Video watching, music listening, e-mail, web, and light games (i.e. Bejeweled).
