Just arrived and loaded it, heres my initial feedback: First, it has three significant failures: 1) no water bottle pocket (I knew this when I bought it) 2) poor organization for accessories - batteries, cables, chargers, caps, etc - the front pocket is the only place, and its more oriented towards pens/pads/etc and only opens halfway down the face. ZERO access from inside the camera compartment for the small stuff, (like when you pull your lens caps and want to stick them somewhere while the lenses are in use...) 3) the cross-body straps DO NOT store and DO NOT remove - the waist-wrap strap, while a nice feature, doesnt stow. so use it, or get tangled in it. the cross-chest strap (that ties the shoulder straps together) also doesnt stow or remove. 1 and 2 knocked a star off....but 3 really brings this to 3 stars. NOTE on layout - dont expect to have easy top-access to a body+lens - the design of the organizers forces that to the bottom of the bag, lens pointing up. For the price, its decent - and I was able to load a 300mm and 400mm (or a pair of 300mm) f4 lenses, 2 sony e mount bodies, 18-55mm and 55-210mm sony lenses, a 18-200mm zoom, 28mm, 35mm, and 50mm prime - and many F, MD, K, and EF lens adapters, 2x teleconverter, a set of macro ring spacers, and my sling strap. Finding a non-backpack bag to give good access to a pair of super teles has been pretty challenging, and this took it all for a low price. well see how it holds up to hauling it all (well, a subset)!

Great gadget bag. Lots of well designed space. I was looking to upgrade from a smaller gadget bag due to the accumulation of gear. I could no longer carry all my gear in one bag. Thats not gonna be a problem with this bag. Theres plenty of room for my Nikon (Its not a camera. Its a Nikon. ;-), several lenses, 2 flash units, macro sleeves, filters, etc, etc, with plenty of padding to protect my precious glass. The laptop compartment certainly wasnt a priority for me, but now that I have it in hand, I think the added bonus of having the laptop compartment is something Ill be thankful for many times. If for nothing else, Ill be able to transfer photos to my laptop and view them at large scale while still in the field. If it saves me from missing a single shot, it will have proven its worth. I also love the backpack gadget bag concept. Ive always been a freak about having to have ALL my gear with me at all times, and I do a lot of shooting at National Parks. Now I can literally have ALL of my gear with me, as opposed to grabbing the Nikon and a couple of lenses, leaving the rest in my truck, trudging 3/4 of a mile through snow and mud, only to realize that my 35mm sure would be great to have for this shot, then trudging back to my truck to fetch it. Yeah, I know. Zooms. I have PLENTY of zooms, but my fixed lenses are all much faster than my zooms.

This bag is great, the biggest part of the bag let’s you customize how you want to arrange space within the bag. The front and laptop portions are smaller because of this(obviously), but we’re able to get the job done and carry my 17in laptop as well as a couple notebooks, some pencils, a pencil sharpener, a computer mouse, and the laptop charger with a little space leftover. When it comes to weight distribution this bag handles it very well, just makes sure you fasten the straps as comfortable as you can. Don’t carry the bag too long though, because like most bags after awhile you start feeling the weight on your shoulders. Even though the padding on the bags helps, I wouldn’t wear it more than an hour at a time. Lastly the main issue I have with this backpack are the side straps; they can hold your tripod well. However they’re not strong enough to keep your tripod from sliding around in place, this causes and issue where you have to put your tripod into the straps a certain way if you want it to be completely secure.

I dont think you can do better for your money for a backpack of this size. This is a big backpack and can accommodate a lot of equipment. The main compartment comfortably carries a Nikon D810 with the extra battery grip and mounted 24-70mm lens, a 14-24mm lens, a 70-200mm lens, a 105mm Micro (Macro) lens, an SB-910 speedlight (with accessories), and a couple small accessories such as a wireless remote. All of the glass is f2.8 so its fairly big and needs plenty of space. The large front pocket carries a 15 USB 3.0 cable (for tethering), a wired remote, spare batteries, lens filters, a note pad, a pen, and a few other minor items. The other large pocket near the shoulder straps carries a 12 tablet and case along with some documents and manuals (Ive limited the manuals that I might carry because electronic copies are available that are loaded on the tablet). The side straps work fine to carry a monopod; but, I find a full-sized tripod is a bit much. The padding is excellent and protects the equipment nicely. Ive been quite comfortable using this backpack for travel and for carrying into the field on shoots (although, sometimes I dont need all the stuff and can make it a bit lighter). I would definitely buy this backpack again and strongly recommend it.

I gave the item 4 stars HOWEVER..... I purchased this backpack for an upcoming trip. After unpacking ans inspecting it, I spent several hours trying to configure it to hold my equipment - without success. The product is well made and otherwise I would rate it 5-stars. The item dimensions are stated as 18 x 9 x 13.2 inches. The laptop compartment easily holds a Macbook Air, an iPad and has room for adapters and cables. The front accessory compartment will hold batteries, filters and such. HOWEVER, the camera compartment dimensions are not stated. The specifications say the camera compartment will accomodate 2 DSLR bodies and 3-4 lenses plus accessories. I found the depth of the compartment to be a big factor. I carry 2 DSLR bodies: Nikon D5100 and Nikon D7100. I carry 4 lenses: Nikon 35mm; 18-200; 70-300; Sigma 15-30; Nikon SB-600 flash. What I found was that the camera compartment is 4.5 deep at the upper portion (top); 5 deep in the center; and 5.5 deep at the bottom. Three of my 4 lenses are > 5.5 long so they must be placed horizontal to the bottom of the bag. Configuring the bag this way makes it impossible (for me at least) to carry the 4 lenses, 2 bodies, the flash unit and items too big for the accessories compartment. Quite simply, I need a bbiger bag! SO...be careful to preconfigure your equipment requirements before buying this bag - I didnt!. It is a very good bag for the price, but just not right for me!

Just received this bag today, on time, as promised. I selected this backpack bag for a new camera purchase and I didnt want to spend a fortune on it. This bag is designed to have the camera at the bottom, not at the top (I thought I ordered the bag with the camera positioned at the top, not the bottom, but I made the mistake.) The bag is slightly deeper at the bottom than the top and the adjustable dividers inside are tapered to align with the bag. Reversing the dividers to position the camera at the top, for easy access, works. The front flap is well padded, so I dont worry about the camera sitting above the dividers. The straps are securely attached by being sewn around the outside and across forming an x in a square. Material feels comparable in quality to my much more costly REI backpack that Ive used nearly daily since 2005. The chest and waist straps are amble size and the bag rides comfortably on the shoulders. The curved shoulder straps add to the comfort and I think the external padding on the back will make it nice on a hike. Unfortunately, the bag is not waterproof, but does come with a rainhood. The tapered dividers and lack of waterproofing are the reasons I gave it 4 stars. If it falls apart on the first trip, Ill let you know.

This a great and unique camera bag. The orange interior makes it easy to see black camera components so they dont get misplaced. The pack has padding on the back side that shields your backbone from abrasion. This feature makes it very comfortable to carry heavy gear. I have a Nikon D7100 with a 200-500mm Tamron lens mounted that fits very well inside due to the reconfigurable partitions. I found that the zipper handles are top quality and all metal so the other comments about their weakness seem either unfounded or now corrected by Amazon. The only issue that I did have was that I lost one of the two removable velcro fitted straps in a parking lot as I took out my camera. I didnt notice until the next stop that it was missing. We returned to the parking lot and found it. It also has fallen out since then in the car as I took out the camera. I may tack one end down permanently so they cant come off. It is no big deal and it is due to the moderately poor adhesion of the velcro to the orange felt like material in the interior. Perhaps a more aggressive version of the hook side of the velcro would be an improvement. I also got caught out in the rain on a wildlife photoshoot and the supplied rain cover worked spectacularly. I was soaked but the camera gear was dry and safe.

Ive had two of these in a row since 2018. Backpack itself is great. But the zipper puller (the part you grip) keeps breaking off. I had two break off on the first one within a couple of years, and now on my second one the pullers broke off again within a year. They need to fix this one issue. The metal should be changed.

I was very surprised with this backpack. Generally I see comparable backpacks at 3, 4 and 5 times as much as this bag. So when I got the bag I was not expecting much for its build quality and ease of use. I was very pleasantly surprised. The bag is excellent! Lets look carefully at it now: Pros: - Good build quality - Easy to re-arrange internal areas - Fits a lot of gear - Straps are built in such a way to ACTUALLY alleviate weight off your back - The Laptop Pouch is safely protected from the lenses. - Rubberized and strong top handle. Cons: - The outside pouch does not hold much (I have it holding a - The bag includes a rain cover, but no pouch for the cover. - The outside tripod holder is useless (as they are on every bag) - The waist straps are not removable (if you dont like them, they flap around and look silly) Overall I really love the bag so far. For me, it was perfect as I had just enough gear to fill but not overpack the bag. One has topay attention to what they put into the bag and where it goes, but once that initial step is done, youre good to go!

I bought two of these. I liked the first one very much but caught the belt clasp in a car door and broke the plastic. It still works but I wanted a second so I can enjoy the bag once the clasp no longer works. If you have the pack completely filled then avoid lifting by one shoulder strap I heard a ripping sound once but no stitches have come loose yet. I now put a full pack on by reaching through the shoulder strap and use the handle to lift the pack into position. The handle is strong and does not have any issue lifting a full pack. I often use the backpack to take my laptop, DSLR camera, two GoPro cameras, Nintendo Switch, full size keyboard (sicks out of outside pocked by about an inch so I use a strap to make sure the zipper stays up on the sides and the keyboard stays in the pocket), a portable DVD player (small), charging accessories, and my journal (small). This has been a great way to take all my tech stuff and it fits under the seat on an aircraft. I have used it for about 6 trips (one to Europe) and it has been a joy to use.
