> 3 dayI only have a small camera bag to compare this to, but this is awesome for my first big bag. The main compartment dividers are fully customizable, I reversed my so the camera body is at the top instead the bottom, however, be aware that by inverting the dividers the top of the bag is shallower than the bottom, the dividers will be slightly taller than the bag body. So far, it has worked great, I carry a Canon T3i, 18-55 lens, 55-250 lens, SD cards, batteries, charger, filters, and a few other odds and ends. I havent tried putting my notebook in it yet, but I believe it will fit with room to spare. The straps on the side are nice for securing your tripod, keeps it from having to be hand carried. I can already see that I will probably outgrow this bag rather quickly with acquiring more gear, but who knows, I may just buy another and divide the gear into shoot specific bags. Great product so far, Ill revisit this review if I come across any problems. P.S. It also comes with a slip-on rain cover.

> 3 dayI have become a fan of Amazon Basic items and this bag is no exception. I had used the Basics DSLR Bag and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Like this bag, it had lots of space for your equipment, with space for two DSLRs and 5-6 lenses, depending on size. I have a Nikon D5100 body, with the kit 18-55 lens and the 55-200. In addition to that, I have a number of old film-era prime lenses from the small 50mm to the long 180mm f/2.8 and the 300mm f/4. This bag handles them with ease and allows me to reconfigure the bag as needed. So far, the bag has held together nicely, even when I load it with my heavy lenses and gear. The straps and belt are strong and easily adjustable. Im a big guy, so its nice to have a bag that easily adjusts to me. I havent hiked with this bag, but the system seems strong, comfortable, and very usable. Space for accessories is the one down side of this bag. This is where I wish they had continued the configuration from the smaller DSLR only bag. The top flap of that bag has a series of clear vinyl zipper pouches on the inside and a large pocket with bungee cord ties on the outside. This bag only has a simple flap over a very nice pocket system on the camera side of the top flap. Id love to have the best of both bags to keep all my accessories, cables, parts, and cards organized. This is a great bag, especially for the price.

13-04-2025Im a learning hobbyist photographer. After buying an additional lens, and some accessories, I found that I needed to move up from my small over-the-shoulder bag. I wanted a backpack with adjustable dividers. Im also need my laptop and tablet for work, so I wanted something with space for that. I settled on this AmazonBasics bag. It meets my needs, and was very affordable compared to other bags I considered. There is ample room in the laptop sleeve (though I almost wish here was just a little more padding on the bottom of the compartment. The dividers in the main compartment give me plenty of room for my SLR with lens, two additional lenses, a flash, several filters, lens hoods-, cleaning accessories, etc., and there is still room to spare. I could easily add an additional lens or two. The smaller compartment has a few basic zippered and sleeve compartments. I can throw my tablet, laptop charger, phone, network cable, pens, and other miscellaneous items in there without it getting crowded. The construction is very good. The ripstop nylon is durable, the seams are well-sewn, and the buckles, grips, and other connecting pieces are of good quality. The zippers are smooth, and do not get hung up when opening/closing. The shoulder straps are with contours--not just straight, flat straps--and have mesh-covered padding. The back is also well padded, and has a nice channel down the middle for comfort/ventilation. The hip and chest straps are nice if you need some more stability, or have a heavy load of gear. This is a great bag if you need to upgrade to something bigger, and I anticipate that it will serve me for years to come. I dont regret turning down more expensive brand-name bags to go with this one from AmazonBasics.

Greater than one weekGreat camera bag at a great price. Two long and 5 short Velcro removable partitions plus two hold down Velcro straps to hold camera items safe and secure. Two outside Velcro-secured pouches. Two large zippered flat storage areas: The area located close to your back (shoulder strap(s) side) good for a laptop...probably 17 inch display size. The other large flat storage area, furthest from your back, has lots of pouches of varying sizes including a mesh-type pouch. A clip I believe for retaining a set of keys is located here. Lots of adjustments for the shoulder straps including waist straps. A couple of Velcro fastening straps on the outside of the bag will hold a light-weight tripod secure. The camera bag is relatively large and looks durable. The bag has not been used yet. Ive set the bag up for a DMC-G6 with 14-140mm lens attached, an HF-R600 with lens hood, two Zoom H1 recorders with shock-mounts attached (one with a ball-joint), bar with two 1/4-20 bolts (for mounting H1 plus HF-R600 side-by-side). A 72 inch tripod on the side of the bag. Hand hold or use the shoulder bag with a Magnus VT-350 tripod. Could even bring a 7 inch Viltrox monitor but with the battery removed (for HF-R600). Hope to use the camera bag soon. Also, a rain hood is included to make a more water resistant enclosure.

Greater than one weekIm definitely getting more impressed with AmazonBasics quality. I have several AmazonBasics products and I think they are often the best value for what you are receiving. I bought this over a year ago in time for my brothers wedding .He already had a hired professional photographer but he wanted me to take some as well (as I am only an amateur, but hey -- more photos for free is never a bad thing!). If you are an hobbyist / amateur photographer with several lenses / accessories to protect, I think this is absolutely worth the price! The build quality feels very nice and I was able to travel on a plane with no problems. It also has a laptop slip which is very beneficial. The straps feel comfortable and the bag doesnt scream IM CARRYING EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT!. Youll look more like a student than anything (at least thats how I looked). And to be honest, the AmazonBasics label on the front of the bag isnt going to make anyone super curious about whats inside -- which is also why you should buy this!. I personally dont use this bad every time I go out shooting -- only for big events or photoshoots that require me to bring everything. For that reason I havent used it consistently over the past year. I think for a hobbyist it is great because my need for all my equipment at once is rare. Im most often doing street photography which requires a very light setup so I never bring this bag with me in those instances. I think depending on your needs this could be the best option for you. If youre a casual photographer who needs a bag to house all your equipment for the occasional big event -- get this one!

> 3 dayI was looking specifically for a bag that I could fit my good camera and a couple of lenses, AND carry my work computer on a trip to the UK. AND fit under an airplane seat. This bag worked out very well in all respects. Carried a Nikon D5200 with 18-300 zoom attached + a Sigma 10-20 zoom. The excess compartments held al chargers (phone, computer, camera batteries), and other misc. stuff I travel with. PLUS the 15in MacBook PRO, and my scripts. Fit under the seat not only on the big plan to uk, but also on a smaller commuter jet to Philly. My only regret: the computer is a lot heavier than I every realized! Glad I had included a cloth backback in my check-in luggage to use as a camera bag for schlepping around after the meeting (computer locked in hotel safe) because I would NOT have done well with the loaded DLSR/laptop on my back for long!.

> 3 dayThis thing is huge, keeps all my camera gear in one place which means it is heavy. Another issue, Im not very organized so the infinite configurations possible, are a bit over whelming. Having said that, this has worked out great for what it is. If you want to have everything available in a convenient pack this works great, throw it in the trunk of the car and pick out what you need for the day/event. I keep two Nikons with lenses installed, a flash, several additional lenses, batteries, chargers, manuals, notebook, full-sized tripod(outside straps), plus a bunch of odds and ends, also theres room for my old 17 laptop, though substituting the 15 laptop or 7 tablet instead, helps keep the weight manageable. It is pretty well padded and seems to be well constructed and durable, time will tell. Theres enough padding/mass that, I think, in the trunk, heat will be mitigated sufficiently that I neednt worry about leaving it there for the day. The orange interior is great and from the outside, with the tripod removed, it is not obvious it contains a few thousand dollars worth of camera equipment.

> 3 dayThis bag was the best value for the price when I bought it. Since then it has far surpassed my expectations. I have loaded 1 digital SLR, 1 70-210, 1 18-55 and 1 28-90 lenses, 1 430 EZ Flash (about the same size as the 70-210 lens), 1 battery charger, 3 Sata external USB Drives, camera cables, IR Mouse, 4 AA batteries, the laptop charger and a Remington shaver w/charger in the main storage area. The front compartment held the iPad, 3 ft extension cable, spare memory cards, all cables for my phone, manual for the EOS, spare USB cables, my wallet, and plane tickets. The laptop area held an Acer T3 (17 laptop). The whole thing was easy to go through screening with and fit in the overhead with no issues. I used the side straps to hold my rolled coat and blanket. It weighed in around 45lbs when done. The padded straps never were uncomfortable. The pack belt was nice when going through multiple concourses because it shifted the weight to my hips and off my shoulders. The only suggestions I have are as follows: 1) it needs more dividers in the main area. I used the ones from my existing camera bag to supplement. 2) The laptop storage area is not really designed for a large 17 laptop. The corners of mine barely zip around leaving those corners vulnerable to impacts. Also, the bottom needs a thick pad and corner padding. I have to be careful how I set the bag down to compensate and prevent damage to my laptop. I was worried about the zippers going around the laptop corners so tightly but so far so good. I give this an 8.5 out of 10. Yes, if there was not one that fit my laptop better I would buy this one again and I recommend it to people with smaller laptops. For my classes I pulled out the center dividers and it held a full semester of school books just fine. Lastly it is a great weekend bag for carrying clothes.

> 3 dayI bought this for my first ever trip going really anywhere, so this firs time was to Kauai! This bag was PERFECT! I LOVE the hiking type waist strap as one spontaneous hike we had to do and didnt know until we went looking for Queens Bath and we had barely any sunlight left and had to beat it going down, shooting quick, right back up! I carried this bag EVERYWHERE while there and it fit perfectly under the seat on the airplane too. I dont have a mass amount of lenses so I could also fit a few other things in the pockets. It is perfect to look like a normal backpack and not get stolen, although it was ATTACHED to me and my guy either way. I also took my laptop since homework online, and it was perfect for that too. Sturdy. Zippers going both ways made it easier at times when quickly searching a few times to pull something small out if under the seat or however. Great quality of fabric, straps so easy to adjust and not too easy that they slide when I dont want them to resize. I also didnt take my tripod so I just tied my water bottle onto the side strap area where the tripod would go. MyGyvering works! I would absolutely buy this again once mine forever later wore out or as a gift for someone else. Perfect!
