> 3 dayLove this Backpack. Took it to Hawaii with me. I used it as my carry-on. The middle zipper compartment held my camera and lenses. It is very well cushioned. I did not have to worry about my camera and lenses knocking together. The front zipper contained my billfold and other needs for traveling. The back zipper compartment held my 15 computer. I have had issues before where my computer would not fit in carry-on bag. I was pleasantly surprised. One other feature of this backpack is that it comes with a rain cover. While hiking, I used it to cover my camera when we would walk into a little rain showers. The straps are nice and cushioned. There is a lower strap that fits around the waist that is also nicely cushioned. I am a smaller woman, 53 and was able to make the straps small enough for the backpack to ride comfortably on my back. The straps can go a whole lot larger, so could fit a larger man. Another feature is the side pockets, my license and room key went in there. I didnt have to fish around the main compartment to find them when I need them. There are straps on the side of the backpack that you can use to connect your tripod. There were comments about the quality of this backpack. I had no problems with anything tearing off. It was very secure when lifting it from the top handle. I know I could have spent a whole lot more for a camera backpack. All-in-all, it is a great value.

Greater than one weekJust received this bag today, on time, as promised. I selected this backpack bag for a new camera purchase and I didnt want to spend a fortune on it. This bag is designed to have the camera at the bottom, not at the top (I thought I ordered the bag with the camera positioned at the top, not the bottom, but I made the mistake.) The bag is slightly deeper at the bottom than the top and the adjustable dividers inside are tapered to align with the bag. Reversing the dividers to position the camera at the top, for easy access, works. The front flap is well padded, so I dont worry about the camera sitting above the dividers. The straps are securely attached by being sewn around the outside and across forming an x in a square. Material feels comparable in quality to my much more costly REI backpack that Ive used nearly daily since 2005. The chest and waist straps are amble size and the bag rides comfortably on the shoulders. The curved shoulder straps add to the comfort and I think the external padding on the back will make it nice on a hike. Unfortunately, the bag is not waterproof, but does come with a rainhood. The tapered dividers and lack of waterproofing are the reasons I gave it 4 stars. If it falls apart on the first trip, Ill let you know.

> 3 dayI love this bag. It only have one camera body and one lens that I am carrying with me currently, but I wanted a bag that would leave me room for more lenses in the future, as well as something that could fit my laptop and/or iPad. This case fits the bill. Everything seems very well made. There is ample padding, and plenty of room for all of my gear. This case is so much better than I had originally thought, that I am considering using it as my new daily use laptop bag, which will encourage me to carry my camera with me more often. The bag is a little bigger than I had envisioned (certainly not Amazons fault), and because of its size, I may need to consider purchasing a slightly smaller bag for flights. I suppose that is what comes with the territory of my purchasing a bag that will fit my camera and laptop though. Overall, I am beyond thrilled with this bag. I *almost* bought something nowhere near as good from Best Buy, and Im glad I found this instead. The price is very good, and the case itself Id better than anything else I saw in this category/price range. There was a smaller version of this bag that I might consider purchasing before my next flight.

> 3 dayThere are two features this bag needs, and it will be the best ever for its purposes. Make that three things. Even so, its heartily recommendable and perfect for carrying DSLR and gear and a laptop and gear. 1. It needs Velcro straps for the tripod. The clip-based straps keep sliding when trying to tighten on the tripod. Not a big deal, but a definite annoyance. 2. It needs a couple of pockets on the front sized for a phone, headphones, and stuffing all the keys, change and items in pockets when going through airport security. The side pockets are nice, but one is rendered useless when a tripod is attached, the other is too small. Not a big deal, but sure would be nice, Amazon. 3. The slip that handle of rolling luggage can pass through to hold the bag while dragging through the airport.. This is the most important missing piece, and cost Amazon one star in the review. Now what about the rest of the bag: Perfect. Ive got two cameras, a DSLR with 3 lenses, 2 lens extensions, spare batteries, two flash units, my laptop charging set up, a point-and-shoot camera, and 18 filters. Theres still room for my notebook, cords out the wazoo, and the power cubes. There could be more pockets on the interior, but there is space for pens, release forms, business cards and a modest amount of stuff. And one real nicety, a water bottle holder would be amazing. I did a lot of research and this is the closest bag to the eBag I was using for my computer before the camera. Its stury, very well padded, and I like the black and orange color scheme.

> 3 dayI got this bag one day before traveling to Thailand with the plan to also go to a Thai National Forest. I took a Canon 80D with the 18-135 nano attached, 100mm macro, and Sigma 150-600. There was room for the charger, three batteries, a Mophi for field charging, hard drive and extra cards and misc. junk such as a sport camera. The compartment against your back is heavily padded and accommodated my MacBook 13” with plenty of room to spare. I also took some papers that I needed to bring in that compartment. Thailand is warm and I sweated quite a bit but the bag protected everything in that compartment. The middle compartment is for the equipment and has plenty of dividers. The Sigma fit along the side easily and would have fit in the center section on the camera with no problem. The dividers are adjustable with Velcro and can be moved easily. The outside compartment has a zippered pouch that I used for money and passports. There are other sections and a place for pens and notebooks. The pack seems well built and although the trip is only two weeks there is no evidence of any stitching coming loose and everything is solid. The top handle seems to have been re-engineered from earlier versions because it is heavily stitched in. All of the straps are heavy and strongly attached. The only issue that I noted was that the computer compartment zipper is also the part that carries the shoulder straps. The zipper is very strong but you do not want to have both zippers at the top as they can pull open while the pack is on. If both zippers are to one side or the other there is no problem. Be aware that the fully loaded pack will be on the heavier side. Pros: Solidly built Plenty of room Dual zipper pulls on all zippers Straps and back are well padded Cons: The computer compartment zippers can open if not zipped to one side or the other. No air circulation along the back—needs air conditioning No Sherpa provided to help carry the gear The side pockets are too small to carry water bottles. Overall this is a really good buy and I would buy it again.

> 3 dayIve had two of these in a row since 2018. Backpack itself is great. But the zipper puller (the part you grip) keeps breaking off. I had two break off on the first one within a couple of years, and now on my second one the pullers broke off again within a year. They need to fix this one issue. The metal should be changed.

Greater than one weekThis worked perfectly for my first overseas trip. I wanted a carryon that would protect my DSLR which I was never going to let more than 4 feet away. The backpack has a number of removable velcroed pads that allow you to shape the individual packing areas. If I had been taking multiple lenses (which I wasnt) this would have been great. All I needed for special padding was an area for a Nikon D90. The backpack has plenty of room for a change of clothes, a laptop, pockets for personal items (sunglasses, lipstick, wallet, passport, stuff), and also space for the quart bag of small toiletries, and another small bag for prescriptions, cough drops, etc. It holds so much you have to be careful from making it too heavy. The adjustable straps are comfortable and you could also carry it by the handle. It does not have a slip strap for the handle of your wheelie suitcase, but you could easily adapt the existing straps for this. It worked great as a daypack for carrying everything on tours. And it has side straps for carrying a tripod. Definitely my permanent go-to bag for adventuring. Where dd we go? Tromso, Norway above the Arctic Circle and yes, we saw the Northern Lights.

Greater than one weekThis a great and unique camera bag. The orange interior makes it easy to see black camera components so they dont get misplaced. The pack has padding on the back side that shields your backbone from abrasion. This feature makes it very comfortable to carry heavy gear. I have a Nikon D7100 with a 200-500mm Tamron lens mounted that fits very well inside due to the reconfigurable partitions. I found that the zipper handles are top quality and all metal so the other comments about their weakness seem either unfounded or now corrected by Amazon. The only issue that I did have was that I lost one of the two removable velcro fitted straps in a parking lot as I took out my camera. I didnt notice until the next stop that it was missing. We returned to the parking lot and found it. It also has fallen out since then in the car as I took out the camera. I may tack one end down permanently so they cant come off. It is no big deal and it is due to the moderately poor adhesion of the velcro to the orange felt like material in the interior. Perhaps a more aggressive version of the hook side of the velcro would be an improvement. I also got caught out in the rain on a wildlife photoshoot and the supplied rain cover worked spectacularly. I was soaked but the camera gear was dry and safe.

> 3 dayOne thing I have to admit that whatever AmazonBasics products have tried have been super satisfied. Prior trying this bag I had the smaller version of this bag from AmazonBasics and it was super rugged. I used that bag very carelessly for around 4 years and it can still go for many years. I recently upgraded my camera and added gears too. So my I was looking for a new backpack that fits my new camera, all the gears and my ASUS 15.6 inches laptop. I first tried

> 3 dayIm definitely getting more impressed with AmazonBasics quality. I have several AmazonBasics products and I think they are often the best value for what you are receiving. I bought this over a year ago in time for my brothers wedding .He already had a hired professional photographer but he wanted me to take some as well (as I am only an amateur, but hey -- more photos for free is never a bad thing!). If you are an hobbyist / amateur photographer with several lenses / accessories to protect, I think this is absolutely worth the price! The build quality feels very nice and I was able to travel on a plane with no problems. It also has a laptop slip which is very beneficial. The straps feel comfortable and the bag doesnt scream IM CARRYING EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT!. Youll look more like a student than anything (at least thats how I looked). And to be honest, the AmazonBasics label on the front of the bag isnt going to make anyone super curious about whats inside -- which is also why you should buy this!. I personally dont use this bad every time I go out shooting -- only for big events or photoshoots that require me to bring everything. For that reason I havent used it consistently over the past year. I think for a hobbyist it is great because my need for all my equipment at once is rare. Im most often doing street photography which requires a very light setup so I never bring this bag with me in those instances. I think depending on your needs this could be the best option for you. If youre a casual photographer who needs a bag to house all your equipment for the occasional big event -- get this one!
