> 3 dayThis bag is very impressive. I dont think Ive ever purchased a bag that was this good, at this price point. It has features that usually are found in bags priced in the $99-$199 range. The interior padding is very thick and firm, the straps and stitching is incredibly strong, and the padding on the back and straps is extremely comfortable. It even has a waist strap which I havent been able to find on similarly priced bags from other manufacturers. The carry handle has a nice strong molded rubber grip on it, and the included rain fly is more than adequate for protecting anything you have inside. This bag looks very small, especially compared to the average 3-day pack, but it seems bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. I have all my gear that I would want to take on a nice trip or excursion, plus food and clothes for three days, and a 15 ultrabook, and it fit everything perfectly without even having to squeeze it in and compress it down. The straps on the side can hold a tripod, a sleeping pad, a jacket, or anything else you want, and cinch down tightly enough that whatever you put there wont go anywhere unless you want it to. This pack is also very unassuming in appearance, and doesnt shout I have valuable stuff please steal me. It also doesnt have the overly tactical appearance that some other bags from Oakley or Maxpedition seem to have these days. It really does just look like an average, run-of-the-mill book bag, and when set on the ground at an airport or train terminal seems to shrink a bit. The construction is very rigid and firm, due to the foam inside, and it holds its shape amazingly well. Theres no need to prop it up on something, it wont fall over and doesnt buckle or deform from the weight of what you have inside it. Overall, Im extremely impressed with what showed up on my doorstep; I intend to test the heck out of it over the next several months, and should any of the straps, buckles, or stitching fall apart (which at this point really does seem highly unlikely) I will update this review to reflect the issue. Amazon, great job guys.

> 3 dayThis has replaced both my old camera bag and my laptop bag and is now my daily carry bag, holding a Canon DSLR body, four lenses, an external flash and spare UV and polarizer filters for each lens ring size, spare batteries, a 13 MacBook Air and its AC adaptor, a Kindle Fire HD 6 and various other random objects the likes of which many people carry in their laptop bags. Oh yes, and a Manfrotto light weight tripod strapped to the side with the built in straps for that purpose. They work quite well. Ive only had to adjust them once. The shoulder straps are well padded and the single handle on the top makes it convenient to set in my trunk and lift it out again, without turning it at an odd angle trying to lift it in and out by the shoulder strap. Everything inside stays nicely in place and is well protected. Note, I have NOT tried to actually use this as a camera bag in the field yet. Im probably pointlessly carrying my camera gear around with me everywhere I take my laptop (mostly to work and home), but it holds everything well and its comfortable to carry.

> 3 dayThis bag came as part of a package deal when I got my camera so I didnt have high expectations for it. I am not a photographer by any means, I am a web/graphic student interested in shooting my own stock photos. That being said, I do like that I am able to bring all my camera gear with me, and with the extra space in the padded compartment, I am able to fit a few extras since I do not have many lenses or the other gear that many photographers would normally carry. I am usually able to carry a binder with my pens/pencils and other drawing gear in the padded area as well as a small Wacom drawing tablet as well as my lunch and other charging cables since there is so much room. The padded laptop area fits my 13 macbook pro just fine with room for a sketchpad which is larger than my laptop. The accessories area is pretty small for me, but I carry a lot of gear. So for the days I am in school and have a lot to carry, it isnt really convenient, but if I am just going out shooting pictures, it is perfect enough to carry some cleaning items, extra cards and extra batteries. It is a VERY comfortable backpack. The padding on the straps as well as the back are nice. Also living near Seattle and going to school there, the included rain protector is a nice added touch. I probably would have gone with a more expensive backpack/camera bag, but since it came with my camera I tried it out and like it. I would probably buy this brand again, just in a different size.

10-01-2025I use this backpack on a daily basis and so far its holding up really well. The laptop sleeve can easily fit a 15in MacBook Pro and an iPad; the camera section is great and I feel like my gear is protected, and the front pocket is good for holding spare batteries, chargers, and other stuff like that. The only downside is that because of how the backpack is shaped and how the pads/wall things are shaped, there are only a few ways to configure it that Ive found work well. I also wish it was a bit larger, but it fits my DSLR, 3 (soon to be 4) lenses, and my gorilla pod just fine, in addition to everything that can fit in the other pockets. Edit: This thing is still awesome. Over the last year and a half, it’s held up very well, with no rips or fraying, and has continued to meet my needs as I’ve grown as a photographer and videographer. It’s still not quite perfect. It’s still a tad small, the front pocket is small but functional, and there are only so many ways it can be configured. With that said, I’ve still managed to fit: A canon 7D mark ii with the battery grip A canon T5 A 50mm f/1.8 A 24mm f/2.8 A gorilla pod An ND filter A full blown Monfroto tripod (separated into two pieces, but it still fits) Chargers for both battery types I carry Three or four spare batteries (could easily fit more) A spare battery grip insert (to power the 7D off of AAA batteries) Loads of miscellaneous cables A pelican SD card case And then a laptop and and ipad and a water bottle strapped to the side. For 35 bucks, you CANNOT go wrong with this backpack.

Greater than one weekGreat camera/laptop backpack! Much better than I expected. Im a professional photographer and used to paying a few hundred dollars for a bag that meets my needs. I bought this bag to carry my photo equipment and laptop to a destination wedding shoot in Aruba. I needed something I could carry on the flight that would accommodate my photo equipment, my laptop and tablet (all my expensive gear that I didnt want to check). It fit all of that comfortably and was a great carry on item for the flight. The backpack style made going thru the airport much easier than other style camera bags. Items I loaded in the bag for flight: Two Nikon DSLR camera bodies. Two nikon SB 800 flash units, Portrait Zoom, Long Range Zoom, Camera Battery Charger, Flash Batteries(28-rechargeable AA) and charger, 15.6 Laptop with AC adapter cord and mouse , 8 Tablet, various cables (usb-etc) Inside pockets are padded adjustable, and I felt very secure that my expensive gear was as safe as possible, especially when it was on my back. Looks more like a book bag than a camera bag, so I would guess it would be a bit less of a target. I purchased the bag thinking I would only use it on jobs that required an airplane flight, but it has since become my everyday bag. Easy to carry and easy to work out of. 9 months later its holding up very well showing no signs of wear! My only complaint as an everyday bag would be that its got too many straps, and I wish some could be removed. The waist strap is great when the bag is fully loaded and going for a long trek through an airport, but I generally dont carry anything but my camera equipment to a job and never use the waist strap and it gets in the way when not in use would be awesome to be able to remove it and the straps that are designed to hold a tripod which I rarely use either. Overall one of the better purchases Ive made from Amazon, great price great bag!

> 3 dayThis is a great camera bag for the beginning to intermediate photographer for the price, features & durability. The bright orange interior makes it easy to find camera equipment & accessories. My only suggestions would be to reconfigure the strap setup.. they are really long, and the belt isn’t necessarily something you need to use on a daily basis, and would be better served as an option (like the interior colors are) or a removable accessory. I would also recommend a different zipper/fastening system because these zippers tend to come undone on their own if they’re left at the top of the bag if the bag is full and the internal weight distribution isn’t very balanced while you just walk around. I love how much this bag can hold, and for the price, it’s a no-brainer. You will look at every camera bag differently after owning one of these and using it every day.

> 3 dayIm a professional motorsports photographer and this is a B bag. Our main bags are gigantic Tamrac Expedition 8x (a $300+ bag). This is a great little bag, because of the price. Ive only used it a dozen times out in the field, and so far its done great. It fits the gear easily, which is a 7D and 7D Mark ii, each with battery grips, a Sigma bigma 50-500mm lens, a Canon 17-40mm f4 and two full size flashes. It does close OK with the height of the cameras, both 1D pro bodies and 7D + battery grip fit. Its a tight fit as the cameras stick up an inch or two above the zipper line, but it does close easily enough. My concerns are its longevity. The zippers dont feel like the highest quality and that is the first part to fail on a bag in my experience. Nearly all my Expedition 8x bags develop zipper problems over time, and they are much stouter than these zippers. Wish list: * an inch more depth in main compartment * clips on the sides for main compartment in case of zipper failure, then your gear will stay inside the bag (yes, its happened with another bag). * loops to attach lens pouches to on the side opposite the tripod (or monopod) holder. * slightly larger pocket on tripod side, so a monopod slides in easier. * In the front accessory pocket, on the bag side it needs some closable pouches either via zipper or velcro, in order to store batteries there. In the flap side zipper pocket, its kind of heavy when you have spare batteries in it and is mis-balanced a bit. Other Complaints: * the waist stap is too high, Im 62 and it wraps around my lower ribs. I could probably put a ton of slack in the shoulder straps to get it lower, but thats not without its own drawbacks. I dont use the laptop part, so I cant comment on that, looks fine though. Ultimately, if the zipper holds up over time, this is an excellent value bag. I would pay up to twice the price for a bag with the features I want. Once you hit pro bag territory, the prices get ridiculous. You could buy two of these a year and still be ahead of buying large pro bags which tend to last about 2-3 years of heavy use before falling apart.

> 3 dayIve owned a ton of camera bags, and this one is pretty dang great. 1. The bag itself is sturdy, well padded, nothing cheap about it. I love the zippers, stitching, straps and handles. Seems exceptionally well made. 2. The first outer pocket has plenty of storage for many items, I keep my extra battery, memory cards, business cards, cables, pens, etc in this area. The zippered section is quite secure and theft resistant. 3. The customizable padded interior section is quite roomy, I keep my Canon 5d Mark II with a 75 - 300mm lens in it with plenty of room, plus three additional lenses, and 2 Speedlights, as well as my wireless trigger/receiver system and my battery charger in this area easily. 4. There is a back area that seems substantially padded and large enough to carry a 17 laptop, though I have not used it as that is just too much weight for me on a regular basis. In this area is a rain cover for the bag that is handy and nice to have. 5. There is a side pocket and side straps for a tripod or other gear i havent had to use yet. This backpack carries a lot of gear for its size. Its not huge. I am about 54 and it fits comfortably on my back. My husband it 62 and this feels small on him, but most everything does at his size. Its a great deal at its price. Id buy it again.

> 3 dayThis thing is huge, keeps all my camera gear in one place which means it is heavy. Another issue, Im not very organized so the infinite configurations possible, are a bit over whelming. Having said that, this has worked out great for what it is. If you want to have everything available in a convenient pack this works great, throw it in the trunk of the car and pick out what you need for the day/event. I keep two Nikons with lenses installed, a flash, several additional lenses, batteries, chargers, manuals, notebook, full-sized tripod(outside straps), plus a bunch of odds and ends, also theres room for my old 17 laptop, though substituting the 15 laptop or 7 tablet instead, helps keep the weight manageable. It is pretty well padded and seems to be well constructed and durable, time will tell. Theres enough padding/mass that, I think, in the trunk, heat will be mitigated sufficiently that I neednt worry about leaving it there for the day. The orange interior is great and from the outside, with the tripod removed, it is not obvious it contains a few thousand dollars worth of camera equipment.

> 3 dayThis bag was the best value for the price when I bought it. Since then it has far surpassed my expectations. I have loaded 1 digital SLR, 1 70-210, 1 18-55 and 1 28-90 lenses, 1 430 EZ Flash (about the same size as the 70-210 lens), 1 battery charger, 3 Sata external USB Drives, camera cables, IR Mouse, 4 AA batteries, the laptop charger and a Remington shaver w/charger in the main storage area. The front compartment held the iPad, 3 ft extension cable, spare memory cards, all cables for my phone, manual for the EOS, spare USB cables, my wallet, and plane tickets. The laptop area held an Acer T3 (17 laptop). The whole thing was easy to go through screening with and fit in the overhead with no issues. I used the side straps to hold my rolled coat and blanket. It weighed in around 45lbs when done. The padded straps never were uncomfortable. The pack belt was nice when going through multiple concourses because it shifted the weight to my hips and off my shoulders. The only suggestions I have are as follows: 1) it needs more dividers in the main area. I used the ones from my existing camera bag to supplement. 2) The laptop storage area is not really designed for a large 17 laptop. The corners of mine barely zip around leaving those corners vulnerable to impacts. Also, the bottom needs a thick pad and corner padding. I have to be careful how I set the bag down to compensate and prevent damage to my laptop. I was worried about the zippers going around the laptop corners so tightly but so far so good. I give this an 8.5 out of 10. Yes, if there was not one that fit my laptop better I would buy this one again and I recommend it to people with smaller laptops. For my classes I pulled out the center dividers and it held a full semester of school books just fine. Lastly it is a great weekend bag for carrying clothes.
