I dont think you can do better for your money for a backpack of this size. This is a big backpack and can accommodate a lot of equipment. The main compartment comfortably carries a Nikon D810 with the extra battery grip and mounted 24-70mm lens, a 14-24mm lens, a 70-200mm lens, a 105mm Micro (Macro) lens, an SB-910 speedlight (with accessories), and a couple small accessories such as a wireless remote. All of the glass is f2.8 so its fairly big and needs plenty of space. The large front pocket carries a 15 USB 3.0 cable (for tethering), a wired remote, spare batteries, lens filters, a note pad, a pen, and a few other minor items. The other large pocket near the shoulder straps carries a 12 tablet and case along with some documents and manuals (Ive limited the manuals that I might carry because electronic copies are available that are loaded on the tablet). The side straps work fine to carry a monopod; but, I find a full-sized tripod is a bit much. The padding is excellent and protects the equipment nicely. Ive been quite comfortable using this backpack for travel and for carrying into the field on shoots (although, sometimes I dont need all the stuff and can make it a bit lighter). I would definitely buy this backpack again and strongly recommend it.

This bag is very impressive. I dont think Ive ever purchased a bag that was this good, at this price point. It has features that usually are found in bags priced in the $99-$199 range. The interior padding is very thick and firm, the straps and stitching is incredibly strong, and the padding on the back and straps is extremely comfortable. It even has a waist strap which I havent been able to find on similarly priced bags from other manufacturers. The carry handle has a nice strong molded rubber grip on it, and the included rain fly is more than adequate for protecting anything you have inside. This bag looks very small, especially compared to the average 3-day pack, but it seems bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. I have all my gear that I would want to take on a nice trip or excursion, plus food and clothes for three days, and a 15 ultrabook, and it fit everything perfectly without even having to squeeze it in and compress it down. The straps on the side can hold a tripod, a sleeping pad, a jacket, or anything else you want, and cinch down tightly enough that whatever you put there wont go anywhere unless you want it to. This pack is also very unassuming in appearance, and doesnt shout I have valuable stuff please steal me. It also doesnt have the overly tactical appearance that some other bags from Oakley or Maxpedition seem to have these days. It really does just look like an average, run-of-the-mill book bag, and when set on the ground at an airport or train terminal seems to shrink a bit. The construction is very rigid and firm, due to the foam inside, and it holds its shape amazingly well. Theres no need to prop it up on something, it wont fall over and doesnt buckle or deform from the weight of what you have inside it. Overall, Im extremely impressed with what showed up on my doorstep; I intend to test the heck out of it over the next several months, and should any of the straps, buckles, or stitching fall apart (which at this point really does seem highly unlikely) I will update this review to reflect the issue. Amazon, great job guys.

I use this backpack on a daily basis and so far its holding up really well. The laptop sleeve can easily fit a 15in MacBook Pro and an iPad; the camera section is great and I feel like my gear is protected, and the front pocket is good for holding spare batteries, chargers, and other stuff like that. The only downside is that because of how the backpack is shaped and how the pads/wall things are shaped, there are only a few ways to configure it that Ive found work well. I also wish it was a bit larger, but it fits my DSLR, 3 (soon to be 4) lenses, and my gorilla pod just fine, in addition to everything that can fit in the other pockets. Edit: This thing is still awesome. Over the last year and a half, it’s held up very well, with no rips or fraying, and has continued to meet my needs as I’ve grown as a photographer and videographer. It’s still not quite perfect. It’s still a tad small, the front pocket is small but functional, and there are only so many ways it can be configured. With that said, I’ve still managed to fit: A canon 7D mark ii with the battery grip A canon T5 A 50mm f/1.8 A 24mm f/2.8 A gorilla pod An ND filter A full blown Monfroto tripod (separated into two pieces, but it still fits) Chargers for both battery types I carry Three or four spare batteries (could easily fit more) A spare battery grip insert (to power the 7D off of AAA batteries) Loads of miscellaneous cables A pelican SD card case And then a laptop and and ipad and a water bottle strapped to the side. For 35 bucks, you CANNOT go wrong with this backpack.

Nice camera bag for the price. The orange interior does make it easy to find small parts but probably not much more than the grey. It doesnt have as many storage pockets as more expensive bags but for $40 its pretty good. Still, would be nice to have more. Carefully inspected the bag upon receipt. No problems with the stitching or the zippers. Looks like it will hold up well unless its just carelessly abused. The shoulder straps are comfortable and surprisingly thicker than I expected. So is the back. The laptop compartment is huge and will accommodate a 17 easily. My 15.6 HP and 10.5 Samsung tablet fit no problem. The included rain cover is a nice addition as the bag will probably not provide much protection in even light to moderate rain. The bag is deep and protrudes outward significantly if that is a concern, but it holds its shape and does a good job of standing upright. The interior padding is good all around and the Velcro pads in the camera compartment attach securely. Would be nice if Amazon included a couple more. What you see in the pics is what you get. Im a little concerned the mesh pocket in the front will hold up. The bottom couldve been sewn stronger and the material almost feels brittle. The only other concern I really have is the rubber handle on top. Just doesnt feel durable. Very soft rubber. Overall, its a good bag if you dont want to spend a lot of money and I would buy it again.

Nice bag, especially for the price. I believe it will work well for my needs. PROS: -I like the flexibility of the moveable dividers so I can adjust as needed to the lenses, cameras, etc that I am taking out each particular trip. -Seems to have adequate padding to protect my gear. -Nicely padded shoulder straps. But it is not perfect. I dont know where Amazon got the dimensions in their Product Description Key Features section, but they are way off. They list the bags measurements as 15.8 x 11.8 x 19.7 inches. In the Product Details area it is described as 13.2 x 9 x 18 inches, but I only measure the exterior as 12.5 x 6.5 x 17.5. (I included pictures in the Product Images from Customers below. -The back pack looks like it may have some rain resistance, but the bag also comes with what I believe is a rain cover with an elastic band to put over the backpack during rainy conditions. CONS: -Does not fit my 17 Toshiba laptop into the laptop compartment as the description states. It lacks about 1/2 an inch of being able to zip up the laptop compartment. -The strap that goes around the waist is too high for me. I am 6 4 though, so might be ok for average sized person. I will probably just use the shoulder straps and snap the ends together of the waist strap and not use it. Overall I am pleased with the purchase for the price I got it during Black Friday weekend deal. It has more room and flexiblitiy options than my previous backpack.

I bought this bag with little expectations about how it would hold up or how much I could cram inside of it. So heres what I keep in there on a regular basis: Dji Mavic Air 2 drone with 3 batteries, tablet adapter, radio, and charger. iPad Air 3 with folio case 2x Disc golf frisbees 15 gaming laptop and its charger DJI Mavic Mini and all its accessories Needless to say this bag is bigger than it lets on. And it is very comfortable to carry around for long periods of time. I used to be a proponent of hard shell waterproof cases, but they dont do well as luggage. Backpacks make more sense to me. And this one being as cheap as it is, fits the bill PERFECTLY and Im glad I bought it, and recommend others to do the same.

Great pack if you just need something to keep you from breaking your lenses as you travel. The interior is not as customizable as it seems and many would like due to the sloping shape of the bags main pocket. Otherwise, it works well and has plenty of space for a camera and a few lenses or mic and other goodies. It fit my Cannon M50 plus two lenses, a shotgun mic, batteries and chargers, as well as some other odds and ends without trouble. The tripod straps on the side work just fine, but they are a bit difficult to get adjusted where you need them at first. The suspension system is fine for walking around town or the like, but I would not want to wear this for more than a short hike due to the lack of ventilation. If you dont mind a sweaty back, it should be fine but will need periodic adjusting and be a bit uncomfortable. Essentially, its fine if youre not picky but dont expect Osprey level performance. Overall it works well. Not perfect, but gets the job done.

I rarely post product reviews....but I promised myself that if this pack held up on my trip then I would have to post about it. So here I am. Just purchased and used this pack for a one-month trip to Australia/NZ in Feb. I was definitely skeptical of the durability because the price was so great....but now that Im back from my trip I can confidently state that this is an incredible value and I can easily give this a 5-star rating!! SPACE: If you are like me, you want to know first and foremost what can it fit. Well, I packed this thing to the rim with all of my electronics including a Mavic Drone, 15 Mac Laptop, iPad Pro 12.9 in a case with a Apple Pencil, Nikon 360 Cam, Go Pro Hero 5, 2 iPhones, Drone Controller, 2 Drone Batteries, 2 Drone Chargers, 2 extra Go Pro Batteries & Charger, 2 extra 360 Cam Batteries and Charger, 4 Selfie Sticks, 1 Andoer Pistol Grip Cam Mount, several Go Pro accessories including chest mount, helmet mounts, dash mount, charging cables for ALL of the items listed above including my laptop adaptor, a 3 x 7 x 12 foam/zipper case to protect some of the small gear, some extra memory cards and finally a very solid, 6lb (24) Velbon W-Lift Tripod strapped to the outside. TOTAL WEIGHT: I weighed this once before I left and I believe I was just under 30lbs. PROTECTION: With a drone packed in here, I was definitely concerned about the pack holding up. Well, I can tell you the padded walls did their job. They are extremely sturdy and because they are velcro I was able to customize them to fit perfectly around the drone and other gear. Note: The pack was definitely squished with a lot of other gear. But I took care not to place it under 50lb+ suitcases. Again, Im not a product tester and I wasnt looking to TEST the capability. DURABILITY: Not one single rip, tear or even the sound of a tear occurred. And again, I was skeptical so I was definitely expecting something to give out. I did not baby this thing...as I was in rain (sometimes heavy), muddy jungle trails, sandy beaches, direct sun, you name it. It did get some mud on it...but wiped away once it dried and youd never even know it had touched mud. I was worried about the high temps (85-95F + high humidy) especially in the direct sun, but...every time I opened this bag...my gear felt cool. So, an unexpected surprise. Note: I did NOT use the rain cover for this thing and water never leaked in.....however I would definitely utilize it if you know rain is coming. The rain surprised me a few times....and I stressed out when the heavy rains hit us....but I was pleasantly surprised that everything inside stayed dry when I got back to my car. Note: I did not have this in heavy rain for more than about 10-15 minutes at a time. Another side note: I carried this many different ways, I used the handle up top, I used one strap over my shoulder, and other times I used the full two straps and the buckle around my torso. So, all of the main components were definitely put to the test. Again, Im still rather impressed that nothing ripped. USAGE: I used this first and foremost as a carry-on. 6 total flights. I transported it to every single location, every single day and yes, I did small hikes with it as well. All told I was on this adventure for the entire month of Feb...and went to over 20+ different locations including remote, sandy Islands in GBR, picturesque trails and beaches in AU/NZ, river bungee jumping, mountain luging, light tropical jungle hikes (no major ascents), full day beach trips, farm stays, big city hikes....this thing never left my side. COMFORT: I carried around all day and the only time it got uncomfortable was when I had it draped over one shoulder for long periods. The full weight of the pack on one shoulder I think was a bit too much. So, I simply put on both straps and it instantly fixed the comfort issue. Keep in mind, while I was constantly moving every single day, this was not used as a rough hiking pack for long, arduous, high-ascending hikes. It was used for everyday transportation....as we moved from location to location. I carried water in the outside pockets a few times....and of course it did meet with rocks, mud, sand, etc......but I did NOT abuse it or throw it around for obvious reasons. FINAL THOUGHTS: OK, for those wondering why I would pack so much expensive gear in such a cheap case...well, I was originally trying to purchase a more expensive Manfrotto pack from a guy on craigslist...but when too much time went by between communications, I purchased this as my backup in case the deal fell through. Once I received it and packed it up....I ended up deciding to just roll with it. I was already blowing so much money on other pieces of the trip.....so, it felt nice to finally save a little money for a change. And for the money...I just dont see how you can beat it. It definitely exceeded my expectations. This was easily the best valued purchase I made. Hopefully you have a similar experience.

This backpack is very well constructed, has tons of room, and has a lot of adjustable barriers. I previously owned a Amazon basics DSLR backpack (pictured) that has a black interior and is slightly smaller than this bag. This bag has much more room and is more rigid. I can just barely fit my Alienware 17 into the laptop sleeve, and it kind of pokes into the zipper (pictured) and looks like it might pop through the zipper if I took it in the bag on a hike (which I wouldnt do anyway). The laptop sleeve is not quite as protective as you might want it to be. There isnt much padding around the sides or top of the laptop. To me the laptop sleeve is just an extra bonus that I will not be using most of the time. It also comes with a waterproof cover, which will be really nice for for potentially dewy camping and time-lapse recording nights. Also the straps on this backpack are really nice. You can adjust them so that your hips support all of the weight of the bag, which is ideal for going on long hikes. I am really glad that I went with this backpack. Ive seen many other more expensive backpacks that dont have as many great features and all around build quality as this one. This is what I have that fits in the bag with room to spare: D3200 camera body (I hope to upgrade in the future) 18-300mm 3.5-5.6 Nikkor lens 35mm Nikkor lens 10mm f/2.8 Sigma Fisheye lens Yongnuo YN560 IV Flash Vello i-TTL cord for Nikon Nikon ME-1 mic Nikon AC power adapter NiZn battery charger 8 NiZn AA batteries for flash (not in my review photos) 2 EN-EL14 batteries, 4 EN-EL14a batteries several other accessories such as an interval timer, polarizer filters, SD cards & readers, USB cables, HDMI cable, a lens heater and cable, a 12V DC to 120v AC inverter, etc. Unfortunately this bag isnt big enough to also hold my 12V lawnmower battery ;) When I get a better camera body Ill replace my 12V battery, AC inverter, and AC power adapter setup with one of those fancy power packs. Ill probably still use a smaller 12V battery to power my lens heater though, although I could easily replace that with a light weight lithium battery.
