This thing is huge, keeps all my camera gear in one place which means it is heavy. Another issue, Im not very organized so the infinite configurations possible, are a bit over whelming. Having said that, this has worked out great for what it is. If you want to have everything available in a convenient pack this works great, throw it in the trunk of the car and pick out what you need for the day/event. I keep two Nikons with lenses installed, a flash, several additional lenses, batteries, chargers, manuals, notebook, full-sized tripod(outside straps), plus a bunch of odds and ends, also theres room for my old 17 laptop, though substituting the 15 laptop or 7 tablet instead, helps keep the weight manageable. It is pretty well padded and seems to be well constructed and durable, time will tell. Theres enough padding/mass that, I think, in the trunk, heat will be mitigated sufficiently that I neednt worry about leaving it there for the day. The orange interior is great and from the outside, with the tripod removed, it is not obvious it contains a few thousand dollars worth of camera equipment.

I had purchased a camera bag before this one and it just didnt seem to fit. I thought that maybe I didnt know how to put it on since I am 64, and weight about 240#. Anyway I had trouble with it. I purchased this bag hoping that it would fit me ( I read a couple of the reviews and one said that the guy was in the 6 range) . The bag is great, the compartments are very good and do accommodate my camera, 3 lens, flash unit, and camera charger plus various other things. I didnt put my laptop in it because I probably wouldnt be using my laptop when I would be using my camera. The only thing I have a problem with is the place where you put the tripod, and the straps are difficult to tighter up and they are spaced kind of close together so it may not hold the tripod securely. On the other bag, It had a little pocket at the bottom of the bag on the side to set the feet of the tripod into, and it held it more secure. I will just have to modify it a little to make it my own. I do love the bag because it fits great on my shoulders, and distributes the weight of camera and other components so it doesnt see like it is overly weighted.

So if youre looking at a bag in this price range, youre not putting a $7000 camera in it, right? So lets nuts and bolts this. Definitely plenty of room in here for all the extras that someone who is a casual photographer might have. I got this pack in a bundle with a Canon T5, and it fits great with two lenses and plenty more. Ive pushed and pulled on it, and the quality of the one I got seems great. Love the flexibility of the dividers on the inside. If its not evident from the picture, you can configure it to have separate compartments for pretty much any fragile bits you might be taking with you. Also, and this is VERY important for someone like me, the orange looks good. My camera is not a source of income, its a hobby, a fun toy basically, and I want accesories that look good. This fits the bill, making me look and feel more professional than I am, without feeling like Im being too full of myself. Im not so in love with orange and black that Im going to run out and buy an Oklahoma State jersey, but its definitely better than boring black and grey. Highly recommend.

This worked perfectly for my first overseas trip. I wanted a carryon that would protect my DSLR which I was never going to let more than 4 feet away. The backpack has a number of removable velcroed pads that allow you to shape the individual packing areas. If I had been taking multiple lenses (which I wasnt) this would have been great. All I needed for special padding was an area for a Nikon D90. The backpack has plenty of room for a change of clothes, a laptop, pockets for personal items (sunglasses, lipstick, wallet, passport, stuff), and also space for the quart bag of small toiletries, and another small bag for prescriptions, cough drops, etc. It holds so much you have to be careful from making it too heavy. The adjustable straps are comfortable and you could also carry it by the handle. It does not have a slip strap for the handle of your wheelie suitcase, but you could easily adapt the existing straps for this. It worked great as a daypack for carrying everything on tours. And it has side straps for carrying a tripod. Definitely my permanent go-to bag for adventuring. Where dd we go? Tromso, Norway above the Arctic Circle and yes, we saw the Northern Lights.

This bag is very impressive. I dont think Ive ever purchased a bag that was this good, at this price point. It has features that usually are found in bags priced in the $99-$199 range. The interior padding is very thick and firm, the straps and stitching is incredibly strong, and the padding on the back and straps is extremely comfortable. It even has a waist strap which I havent been able to find on similarly priced bags from other manufacturers. The carry handle has a nice strong molded rubber grip on it, and the included rain fly is more than adequate for protecting anything you have inside. This bag looks very small, especially compared to the average 3-day pack, but it seems bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. I have all my gear that I would want to take on a nice trip or excursion, plus food and clothes for three days, and a 15 ultrabook, and it fit everything perfectly without even having to squeeze it in and compress it down. The straps on the side can hold a tripod, a sleeping pad, a jacket, or anything else you want, and cinch down tightly enough that whatever you put there wont go anywhere unless you want it to. This pack is also very unassuming in appearance, and doesnt shout I have valuable stuff please steal me. It also doesnt have the overly tactical appearance that some other bags from Oakley or Maxpedition seem to have these days. It really does just look like an average, run-of-the-mill book bag, and when set on the ground at an airport or train terminal seems to shrink a bit. The construction is very rigid and firm, due to the foam inside, and it holds its shape amazingly well. Theres no need to prop it up on something, it wont fall over and doesnt buckle or deform from the weight of what you have inside it. Overall, Im extremely impressed with what showed up on my doorstep; I intend to test the heck out of it over the next several months, and should any of the straps, buckles, or stitching fall apart (which at this point really does seem highly unlikely) I will update this review to reflect the issue. Amazon, great job guys.

This is a great product, fits well with my Sony camera and 3 different lenses. Its easy to use and seems adequate for protection. However, I with it give a little extra room for other accessories. The room is a little tight but I totally understand why. I love this bag.

I dont think you can do better for your money for a backpack of this size. This is a big backpack and can accommodate a lot of equipment. The main compartment comfortably carries a Nikon D810 with the extra battery grip and mounted 24-70mm lens, a 14-24mm lens, a 70-200mm lens, a 105mm Micro (Macro) lens, an SB-910 speedlight (with accessories), and a couple small accessories such as a wireless remote. All of the glass is f2.8 so its fairly big and needs plenty of space. The large front pocket carries a 15 USB 3.0 cable (for tethering), a wired remote, spare batteries, lens filters, a note pad, a pen, and a few other minor items. The other large pocket near the shoulder straps carries a 12 tablet and case along with some documents and manuals (Ive limited the manuals that I might carry because electronic copies are available that are loaded on the tablet). The side straps work fine to carry a monopod; but, I find a full-sized tripod is a bit much. The padding is excellent and protects the equipment nicely. Ive been quite comfortable using this backpack for travel and for carrying into the field on shoots (although, sometimes I dont need all the stuff and can make it a bit lighter). I would definitely buy this backpack again and strongly recommend it.

I got this bag one day before traveling to Thailand with the plan to also go to a Thai National Forest. I took a Canon 80D with the 18-135 nano attached, 100mm macro, and Sigma 150-600. There was room for the charger, three batteries, a Mophi for field charging, hard drive and extra cards and misc. junk such as a sport camera. The compartment against your back is heavily padded and accommodated my MacBook 13” with plenty of room to spare. I also took some papers that I needed to bring in that compartment. Thailand is warm and I sweated quite a bit but the bag protected everything in that compartment. The middle compartment is for the equipment and has plenty of dividers. The Sigma fit along the side easily and would have fit in the center section on the camera with no problem. The dividers are adjustable with Velcro and can be moved easily. The outside compartment has a zippered pouch that I used for money and passports. There are other sections and a place for pens and notebooks. The pack seems well built and although the trip is only two weeks there is no evidence of any stitching coming loose and everything is solid. The top handle seems to have been re-engineered from earlier versions because it is heavily stitched in. All of the straps are heavy and strongly attached. The only issue that I noted was that the computer compartment zipper is also the part that carries the shoulder straps. The zipper is very strong but you do not want to have both zippers at the top as they can pull open while the pack is on. If both zippers are to one side or the other there is no problem. Be aware that the fully loaded pack will be on the heavier side. Pros: Solidly built Plenty of room Dual zipper pulls on all zippers Straps and back are well padded Cons: The computer compartment zippers can open if not zipped to one side or the other. No air circulation along the back—needs air conditioning No Sherpa provided to help carry the gear The side pockets are too small to carry water bottles. Overall this is a really good buy and I would buy it again.

This a great and unique camera bag. The orange interior makes it easy to see black camera components so they dont get misplaced. The pack has padding on the back side that shields your backbone from abrasion. This feature makes it very comfortable to carry heavy gear. I have a Nikon D7100 with a 200-500mm Tamron lens mounted that fits very well inside due to the reconfigurable partitions. I found that the zipper handles are top quality and all metal so the other comments about their weakness seem either unfounded or now corrected by Amazon. The only issue that I did have was that I lost one of the two removable velcro fitted straps in a parking lot as I took out my camera. I didnt notice until the next stop that it was missing. We returned to the parking lot and found it. It also has fallen out since then in the car as I took out the camera. I may tack one end down permanently so they cant come off. It is no big deal and it is due to the moderately poor adhesion of the velcro to the orange felt like material in the interior. Perhaps a more aggressive version of the hook side of the velcro would be an improvement. I also got caught out in the rain on a wildlife photoshoot and the supplied rain cover worked spectacularly. I was soaked but the camera gear was dry and safe.

Nice bag, especially for the price. I believe it will work well for my needs. PROS: -I like the flexibility of the moveable dividers so I can adjust as needed to the lenses, cameras, etc that I am taking out each particular trip. -Seems to have adequate padding to protect my gear. -Nicely padded shoulder straps. But it is not perfect. I dont know where Amazon got the dimensions in their Product Description Key Features section, but they are way off. They list the bags measurements as 15.8 x 11.8 x 19.7 inches. In the Product Details area it is described as 13.2 x 9 x 18 inches, but I only measure the exterior as 12.5 x 6.5 x 17.5. (I included pictures in the Product Images from Customers below. -The back pack looks like it may have some rain resistance, but the bag also comes with what I believe is a rain cover with an elastic band to put over the backpack during rainy conditions. CONS: -Does not fit my 17 Toshiba laptop into the laptop compartment as the description states. It lacks about 1/2 an inch of being able to zip up the laptop compartment. -The strap that goes around the waist is too high for me. I am 6 4 though, so might be ok for average sized person. I will probably just use the shoulder straps and snap the ends together of the waist strap and not use it. Overall I am pleased with the purchase for the price I got it during Black Friday weekend deal. It has more room and flexiblitiy options than my previous backpack.
