30-03-2025I love this bag. It only have one camera body and one lens that I am carrying with me currently, but I wanted a bag that would leave me room for more lenses in the future, as well as something that could fit my laptop and/or iPad. This case fits the bill. Everything seems very well made. There is ample padding, and plenty of room for all of my gear. This case is so much better than I had originally thought, that I am considering using it as my new daily use laptop bag, which will encourage me to carry my camera with me more often. The bag is a little bigger than I had envisioned (certainly not Amazons fault), and because of its size, I may need to consider purchasing a slightly smaller bag for flights. I suppose that is what comes with the territory of my purchasing a bag that will fit my camera and laptop though. Overall, I am beyond thrilled with this bag. I *almost* bought something nowhere near as good from Best Buy, and Im glad I found this instead. The price is very good, and the case itself Id better than anything else I saw in this category/price range. There was a smaller version of this bag that I might consider purchasing before my next flight.

> 3 dayPros: Large size Many compartments You can move the velcro pieces around for different setups Excellent rain cover padded straps Great pockets Excellent outer fabric - durable and attractive Top handle is useful zippers work great Cons All the weight is on your shoulders Waist straps are terrible Why I dont use this bag anymore ---> After many frustrating experiences with the waist straps, I tried to cut them off. Unfortunately, I cut one of the shoulder strap attachment points at the same time, therefore destroying the backpack feature of the bag. Of course that was my fault to do such a bad job of cutting the straps. However, the bag would have been a lot better if it never had waist straps in the first place. Those waist straps get in the way all the time when you set the bag down. I always need to set the bag down on the ground or a chair, etc. to lay it flat and open the top flap to quickly get at my gear. The waist straps werent functional in any way except if maybe you are biking and just want to keep the pack from shifting sideways? The shoulder straps put all the weight to your shoulders and there is no way to transfer any weight to the lower straps like a hiking bag. I now use another backpack that came free with a lens I purchased. That pack is almost identical but it has no waist straps and no laptop section.

> 3 dayI just received the backpack and Im over-joyed at my purchase. I have two DSLRs, a Canon and a Nikon, with more gear for the Canon. My original backpack was quite full and I was needing to carry things in two separate gear bags when I spotted this one. Im consolidating all my related gear for each camera into separate backpack, that way I can grab one and out the door I go. I will revisit this review after an outing; which might just be this evening! UPDATE: For me, this bag is awesome! The zippers work flawlessly....theres even a rain cover! Everything I have for my Canon fits in this pack with room left over. What gear? I have 4 lenses, compliment of filters, shades, 4 batteries, assortment of SDXC cards, charger, a reflector plus the camera! The tripod will strap to the side: I usually carry mine in hand, but, these straps will hold it. I checked. I went for a walk on the bike path by the river, about 1/2 mile, and was really pleased at the comfortable, padded straps. Could wear this for a while without getting too fatigued (and theres no way you could call me in shape)! Bottom Line: This is going to work for me. If you need some room, try this one.

> 3 dayThis bag is great, the biggest part of the bag let’s you customize how you want to arrange space within the bag. The front and laptop portions are smaller because of this(obviously), but we’re able to get the job done and carry my 17in laptop as well as a couple notebooks, some pencils, a pencil sharpener, a computer mouse, and the laptop charger with a little space leftover. When it comes to weight distribution this bag handles it very well, just makes sure you fasten the straps as comfortable as you can. Don’t carry the bag too long though, because like most bags after awhile you start feeling the weight on your shoulders. Even though the padding on the bags helps, I wouldn’t wear it more than an hour at a time. Lastly the main issue I have with this backpack are the side straps; they can hold your tripod well. However they’re not strong enough to keep your tripod from sliding around in place, this causes and issue where you have to put your tripod into the straps a certain way if you want it to be completely secure.

> 3 dayA long time ago, I watched a video by someone (I forgot whom) who recommended this backpack to carry around deck boxes and the like for Magic: the Gathering (and Im sure this pertains to other card games as well). I found it in my Save for Later section and decided I had the money for an upgrade like this and got it. No regrets! UltraPro Satin Tower deckboxes fit perfectly within the padded sections inside the second pocket. The first pocket is a little tight, but you can fit one binder in there comfortably. There is a side pocket with clipped straps that holds a playmat tube perfectly, and the smallest third pocket is great for pens/pencils, life point pads, dice, etc. I have just *one* complaint. Because the backpack is designed for taking your camera on hikes or something (I really dont know the photography culture at all), there are clips for your waist. There is no way to remove these clips, and they get in the way. I tried tightening them as much as they go, but then they sit on my lower-back annoyingly, and the strap hangs down and looks like Im wearing a badly-made tail. Overall, wonderful backpack. Seconding whomever recommended it for Magic cards. 5 stars!

> 3 dayI got this bag one day before traveling to Thailand with the plan to also go to a Thai National Forest. I took a Canon 80D with the 18-135 nano attached, 100mm macro, and Sigma 150-600. There was room for the charger, three batteries, a Mophi for field charging, hard drive and extra cards and misc. junk such as a sport camera. The compartment against your back is heavily padded and accommodated my MacBook 13” with plenty of room to spare. I also took some papers that I needed to bring in that compartment. Thailand is warm and I sweated quite a bit but the bag protected everything in that compartment. The middle compartment is for the equipment and has plenty of dividers. The Sigma fit along the side easily and would have fit in the center section on the camera with no problem. The dividers are adjustable with Velcro and can be moved easily. The outside compartment has a zippered pouch that I used for money and passports. There are other sections and a place for pens and notebooks. The pack seems well built and although the trip is only two weeks there is no evidence of any stitching coming loose and everything is solid. The top handle seems to have been re-engineered from earlier versions because it is heavily stitched in. All of the straps are heavy and strongly attached. The only issue that I noted was that the computer compartment zipper is also the part that carries the shoulder straps. The zipper is very strong but you do not want to have both zippers at the top as they can pull open while the pack is on. If both zippers are to one side or the other there is no problem. Be aware that the fully loaded pack will be on the heavier side. Pros: Solidly built Plenty of room Dual zipper pulls on all zippers Straps and back are well padded Cons: The computer compartment zippers can open if not zipped to one side or the other. No air circulation along the back—needs air conditioning No Sherpa provided to help carry the gear The side pockets are too small to carry water bottles. Overall this is a really good buy and I would buy it again.

> 3 dayThe quality is about 4-4.5 star quality, but for the same price you cannot find a bag similar with as many features. Yes, manfrotto or vanguard bags are made better and are a little stiffer, this bag is a great tradeoff, saving around 60$. One side has 2 tripod straps with clips. At times the top strap becomes loose due to the inevitable loosening angle it has to be in. I dont find this to be too much of a problem because now for piece of mind i put the top strap through the legs of the tripod.I have a 13 macbook and there is plenty of room in the laptop slot. It looks like it could hold a 15 comfortably, but not too sure how tight a 17 would be. I love that it comes with a rain cover, its not outstanding, but like i said for the money you are getting a great value. There are plenty of adjustable pieces inside, there are literally thousands of difference setups you can have. Although i love that feature, and the orange, i wish the inside padding was a little more stiff. It doest present a problem but it is just a noticeable difference in quality compared to that of a more expensive bag such as a manfrotto bag. I am 511 160 and if the bag was any bigger it would be too big for me, and when the bag is full it can be heavy. That being said i wouldnt recommend this bag to someone too much smaller than me. This bag comes with a chest strap, waist straps, and hip pads along the waist straps. Great for hiking to the perfect spot. The straps have a lot of slack in them which I felt was a negative, but hindsight it is very versatile because bigger people could use the straps no problem, and it comes with elastic bands on the straps to fold the slack into. Like i said the quality isnt the absolute best, but it suffices for my photography needs, holds all my camera equipment plus more, and saves me a ton of money i could put towards other camera gear. Hats off to AmazonBasics for making a very nice bag for a great price.

> 3 dayHave now had this item for over 6 months and taken 4 trips with it so I think I can review it with some certainty. No zippers have failed, no stitching has unraveled, despite somewhat over filled it has not failed to fit under the seat on any airplane so far, even including the smaller regional jets. When I first got it I was having real problems with my left shoulder so I was being really careful with it, but in the last few months I have been able to wear it properly and it makes getting through airports with short connections much easier than my shoulder slung bag used previously. I carry a Surface and a leather document portfolio along with books or magazines in the large pouch nearest the straps. A digital SLR along with 70-200mm, 200-500mm, 28-70mm, flash, GPS, power chargers, cables, flashlights, binoculars, etc. etc. all fit. The only thing I noticed, dont close the zippers on that big back pocket and leave them up near the handle, pull both down to one side or the other. The weight of the rest of the pack caused them to unzip and for it to partially flap open. Had I not noticed it I might have lost items. I have not has a repeat since being sure they are to one side or the other. In short a spacious back that does fit under airline seats and seems pretty rugged so far.

> 3 dayJust received this bag today, on time, as promised. I selected this backpack bag for a new camera purchase and I didnt want to spend a fortune on it. This bag is designed to have the camera at the bottom, not at the top (I thought I ordered the bag with the camera positioned at the top, not the bottom, but I made the mistake.) The bag is slightly deeper at the bottom than the top and the adjustable dividers inside are tapered to align with the bag. Reversing the dividers to position the camera at the top, for easy access, works. The front flap is well padded, so I dont worry about the camera sitting above the dividers. The straps are securely attached by being sewn around the outside and across forming an x in a square. Material feels comparable in quality to my much more costly REI backpack that Ive used nearly daily since 2005. The chest and waist straps are amble size and the bag rides comfortably on the shoulders. The curved shoulder straps add to the comfort and I think the external padding on the back will make it nice on a hike. Unfortunately, the bag is not waterproof, but does come with a rainhood. The tapered dividers and lack of waterproofing are the reasons I gave it 4 stars. If it falls apart on the first trip, Ill let you know.

> 3 dayThis has replaced both my old camera bag and my laptop bag and is now my daily carry bag, holding a Canon DSLR body, four lenses, an external flash and spare UV and polarizer filters for each lens ring size, spare batteries, a 13 MacBook Air and its AC adaptor, a Kindle Fire HD 6 and various other random objects the likes of which many people carry in their laptop bags. Oh yes, and a Manfrotto light weight tripod strapped to the side with the built in straps for that purpose. They work quite well. Ive only had to adjust them once. The shoulder straps are well padded and the single handle on the top makes it convenient to set in my trunk and lift it out again, without turning it at an odd angle trying to lift it in and out by the shoulder strap. Everything inside stays nicely in place and is well protected. Note, I have NOT tried to actually use this as a camera bag in the field yet. Im probably pointlessly carrying my camera gear around with me everywhere I take my laptop (mostly to work and home), but it holds everything well and its comfortable to carry.
