This is a great little camera backpack! I had never used a backpack for camera equipment before, but it was recommended we get one for a photo trip of China we had planned. Of course, the camera shop would be glad to sell us one for $275, but we bought this Amazon Basics backpack instead. We are able to pack two full size DSLR cameras with two telephoto lenses, a laptop, and all the accessories we could imagine into this pack, and I could just grab it and go when we headed out for the day. It is well made, and durable, and took all the abuse of an active, extended photo adventure in stride. It easily performed as well as the expensive packs many of our companions carried. I was so thrilled with how this pack performed that I couldnt wait to leave this review! I highly recommend this pack, and if I ever need another one, I wont hesitate to buy it again. Dont let the low price fool you, this is a great pack!

Have now had this item for over 6 months and taken 4 trips with it so I think I can review it with some certainty. No zippers have failed, no stitching has unraveled, despite somewhat over filled it has not failed to fit under the seat on any airplane so far, even including the smaller regional jets. When I first got it I was having real problems with my left shoulder so I was being really careful with it, but in the last few months I have been able to wear it properly and it makes getting through airports with short connections much easier than my shoulder slung bag used previously. I carry a Surface and a leather document portfolio along with books or magazines in the large pouch nearest the straps. A digital SLR along with 70-200mm, 200-500mm, 28-70mm, flash, GPS, power chargers, cables, flashlights, binoculars, etc. etc. all fit. The only thing I noticed, dont close the zippers on that big back pocket and leave them up near the handle, pull both down to one side or the other. The weight of the rest of the pack caused them to unzip and for it to partially flap open. Had I not noticed it I might have lost items. I have not has a repeat since being sure they are to one side or the other. In short a spacious back that does fit under airline seats and seems pretty rugged so far.

I HAVE LUGGED THIS AROUND FOR 7 DAYS NOW AND LOVE IT! 1.) all of the dividers are completely removable. 2.) It customizes nicely to hold my, (1) CANON EOS 6D (1) GOSSEN LUNA-STAR F light meter (1) BATTERY GRIP (4) EXTRA BATTERIES (1) SPEEDLIGHT 430EX11 and MY 5 FAVORITE FILTERS. this leaves enough room at the top (2 spaces 3x4) for extra flash batteries, a small lens or a very small snack. This a great bag for the money comparing it to a $79.00 bag that didnt have a place for my laptop. This bag IS NOT deep enough to safely hold a Cannon EOS 6D with a battery grip attached (I wish it was, but I think that I will adapt rather than try to find another bag at this time. The case will shut, but the camera with the grip attached will stick up about 1.25 inch. It will however fit if the lens is removed. 3.) When loaded is sets about 8.5 off my back and is about 18 tall. The loops on the side will hold a tripod, mine is about 16-17 collapsed and designed for travel. There is a lot of room in this bag. 4.) This bag shoulders well, the adjustable shoulder straps are very comfortable and have a D ring (looks like composite nylon) on each side.. It has a padded waist belt and a chest (sternum) strap. 5.) There is ample room in the back for a 15.5 x 10.25 inch Laptop it has (2) side pockets that are large enough to hold a wireless mouse or a couple bags of skittles. Attached to the side are (2) buckle straps for securing a tripod and as pictured in the very front there is a nice compartment that has smaller pockets to hold other essential things chargers, cords, filters. My primary use for this bag will be to carry on while traveling so the above issue of depth is not a concern. I would recommend this product to anyone who was looking similar purpose bag.

I was very surprised with this backpack. Generally I see comparable backpacks at 3, 4 and 5 times as much as this bag. So when I got the bag I was not expecting much for its build quality and ease of use. I was very pleasantly surprised. The bag is excellent! Lets look carefully at it now: Pros: - Good build quality - Easy to re-arrange internal areas - Fits a lot of gear - Straps are built in such a way to ACTUALLY alleviate weight off your back - The Laptop Pouch is safely protected from the lenses. - Rubberized and strong top handle. Cons: - The outside pouch does not hold much (I have it holding a - The bag includes a rain cover, but no pouch for the cover. - The outside tripod holder is useless (as they are on every bag) - The waist straps are not removable (if you dont like them, they flap around and look silly) Overall I really love the bag so far. For me, it was perfect as I had just enough gear to fill but not overpack the bag. One has topay attention to what they put into the bag and where it goes, but once that initial step is done, youre good to go!

This a great and unique camera bag. The orange interior makes it easy to see black camera components so they dont get misplaced. The pack has padding on the back side that shields your backbone from abrasion. This feature makes it very comfortable to carry heavy gear. I have a Nikon D7100 with a 200-500mm Tamron lens mounted that fits very well inside due to the reconfigurable partitions. I found that the zipper handles are top quality and all metal so the other comments about their weakness seem either unfounded or now corrected by Amazon. The only issue that I did have was that I lost one of the two removable velcro fitted straps in a parking lot as I took out my camera. I didnt notice until the next stop that it was missing. We returned to the parking lot and found it. It also has fallen out since then in the car as I took out the camera. I may tack one end down permanently so they cant come off. It is no big deal and it is due to the moderately poor adhesion of the velcro to the orange felt like material in the interior. Perhaps a more aggressive version of the hook side of the velcro would be an improvement. I also got caught out in the rain on a wildlife photoshoot and the supplied rain cover worked spectacularly. I was soaked but the camera gear was dry and safe.

I rarely post product reviews....but I promised myself that if this pack held up on my trip then I would have to post about it. So here I am. Just purchased and used this pack for a one-month trip to Australia/NZ in Feb. I was definitely skeptical of the durability because the price was so great....but now that Im back from my trip I can confidently state that this is an incredible value and I can easily give this a 5-star rating!! SPACE: If you are like me, you want to know first and foremost what can it fit. Well, I packed this thing to the rim with all of my electronics including a Mavic Drone, 15 Mac Laptop, iPad Pro 12.9 in a case with a Apple Pencil, Nikon 360 Cam, Go Pro Hero 5, 2 iPhones, Drone Controller, 2 Drone Batteries, 2 Drone Chargers, 2 extra Go Pro Batteries & Charger, 2 extra 360 Cam Batteries and Charger, 4 Selfie Sticks, 1 Andoer Pistol Grip Cam Mount, several Go Pro accessories including chest mount, helmet mounts, dash mount, charging cables for ALL of the items listed above including my laptop adaptor, a 3 x 7 x 12 foam/zipper case to protect some of the small gear, some extra memory cards and finally a very solid, 6lb (24) Velbon W-Lift Tripod strapped to the outside. TOTAL WEIGHT: I weighed this once before I left and I believe I was just under 30lbs. PROTECTION: With a drone packed in here, I was definitely concerned about the pack holding up. Well, I can tell you the padded walls did their job. They are extremely sturdy and because they are velcro I was able to customize them to fit perfectly around the drone and other gear. Note: The pack was definitely squished with a lot of other gear. But I took care not to place it under 50lb+ suitcases. Again, Im not a product tester and I wasnt looking to TEST the capability. DURABILITY: Not one single rip, tear or even the sound of a tear occurred. And again, I was skeptical so I was definitely expecting something to give out. I did not baby this thing...as I was in rain (sometimes heavy), muddy jungle trails, sandy beaches, direct sun, you name it. It did get some mud on it...but wiped away once it dried and youd never even know it had touched mud. I was worried about the high temps (85-95F + high humidy) especially in the direct sun, but...every time I opened this bag...my gear felt cool. So, an unexpected surprise. Note: I did NOT use the rain cover for this thing and water never leaked in.....however I would definitely utilize it if you know rain is coming. The rain surprised me a few times....and I stressed out when the heavy rains hit us....but I was pleasantly surprised that everything inside stayed dry when I got back to my car. Note: I did not have this in heavy rain for more than about 10-15 minutes at a time. Another side note: I carried this many different ways, I used the handle up top, I used one strap over my shoulder, and other times I used the full two straps and the buckle around my torso. So, all of the main components were definitely put to the test. Again, Im still rather impressed that nothing ripped. USAGE: I used this first and foremost as a carry-on. 6 total flights. I transported it to every single location, every single day and yes, I did small hikes with it as well. All told I was on this adventure for the entire month of Feb...and went to over 20+ different locations including remote, sandy Islands in GBR, picturesque trails and beaches in AU/NZ, river bungee jumping, mountain luging, light tropical jungle hikes (no major ascents), full day beach trips, farm stays, big city hikes....this thing never left my side. COMFORT: I carried around all day and the only time it got uncomfortable was when I had it draped over one shoulder for long periods. The full weight of the pack on one shoulder I think was a bit too much. So, I simply put on both straps and it instantly fixed the comfort issue. Keep in mind, while I was constantly moving every single day, this was not used as a rough hiking pack for long, arduous, high-ascending hikes. It was used for everyday transportation....as we moved from location to location. I carried water in the outside pockets a few times....and of course it did meet with rocks, mud, sand, etc......but I did NOT abuse it or throw it around for obvious reasons. FINAL THOUGHTS: OK, for those wondering why I would pack so much expensive gear in such a cheap case...well, I was originally trying to purchase a more expensive Manfrotto pack from a guy on craigslist...but when too much time went by between communications, I purchased this as my backup in case the deal fell through. Once I received it and packed it up....I ended up deciding to just roll with it. I was already blowing so much money on other pieces of the trip.....so, it felt nice to finally save a little money for a change. And for the money...I just dont see how you can beat it. It definitely exceeded my expectations. This was easily the best valued purchase I made. Hopefully you have a similar experience.

This is the second Amazon Backpack that I purchased, I also own the smaller Amazon DSLR Backpack (no laptop) for over year and I am very familiar and please with that bag even though I took it to war a few times. for those wondering about the interior size of this bag, I can fit 2 full frame camera bodies with lenses attached (24-70 and 85mm 1.8) along the center line of the bag, I have a 70-200 2.8 and a 50 1.8 on one side and 2 flashes and a set of 4 radio trigger on the other size (you can easily put a small zoom in place of the radio triggers). The front pouch is also very useful and well padded and that where i stored my 7 set of 4 AAs batteries and 3 Nikon camera batteries and a host of other things. The Laptop pouch is huge and can easily swallow my 15 inch laptop. This is truly a lot of stuff and you probably shouldnt be carrying much more than that unless you have a rolling bag since the weight add up quick. I love the padding on the straps! This bag is much bigger than it appear in photos, at least to me so keep that in mind. Like I said in the above, this is my second Amazon bag and I was extremely please with the first one which was very reliable and been through a lot, I just wanted a bigger bag that can accommodate 2 full frame cameras and a little more room for lenses and equipment and this bag did just that!

This has replaced both my old camera bag and my laptop bag and is now my daily carry bag, holding a Canon DSLR body, four lenses, an external flash and spare UV and polarizer filters for each lens ring size, spare batteries, a 13 MacBook Air and its AC adaptor, a Kindle Fire HD 6 and various other random objects the likes of which many people carry in their laptop bags. Oh yes, and a Manfrotto light weight tripod strapped to the side with the built in straps for that purpose. They work quite well. Ive only had to adjust them once. The shoulder straps are well padded and the single handle on the top makes it convenient to set in my trunk and lift it out again, without turning it at an odd angle trying to lift it in and out by the shoulder strap. Everything inside stays nicely in place and is well protected. Note, I have NOT tried to actually use this as a camera bag in the field yet. Im probably pointlessly carrying my camera gear around with me everywhere I take my laptop (mostly to work and home), but it holds everything well and its comfortable to carry.

Love this Backpack. Took it to Hawaii with me. I used it as my carry-on. The middle zipper compartment held my camera and lenses. It is very well cushioned. I did not have to worry about my camera and lenses knocking together. The front zipper contained my billfold and other needs for traveling. The back zipper compartment held my 15 computer. I have had issues before where my computer would not fit in carry-on bag. I was pleasantly surprised. One other feature of this backpack is that it comes with a rain cover. While hiking, I used it to cover my camera when we would walk into a little rain showers. The straps are nice and cushioned. There is a lower strap that fits around the waist that is also nicely cushioned. I am a smaller woman, 53 and was able to make the straps small enough for the backpack to ride comfortably on my back. The straps can go a whole lot larger, so could fit a larger man. Another feature is the side pockets, my license and room key went in there. I didnt have to fish around the main compartment to find them when I need them. There are straps on the side of the backpack that you can use to connect your tripod. There were comments about the quality of this backpack. I had no problems with anything tearing off. It was very secure when lifting it from the top handle. I know I could have spent a whole lot more for a camera backpack. All-in-all, it is a great value.

Comfortable, versatile, you can attach your tripod to the side, fits everything I need. The main compartment has adjustable walls that are velcro, for a myriad of arrangements. Ive got the camera body, two lenses, the lens that came with the camera, and room for me to stick my wallet and my little makeup bag in there. Theres a section in the front with little pockets in there and a place to clip your keys, plus a separate compartment for my laptop (I have a Macbook Pro 13, and theres probably enough room in there for a 17 computer, and it keeps the computer padded and safe. Best part? Its ORANGE inside. Okay, I hate orange, but the bright orange makes it so easy to find stuff inside. Ladies, you know the black hole that your purse is, when the lining is black? Yeah, thats not an issue with this bag. Seems well made. No Canon or Nikon logo on the outside to signal thieves, in fact, most people wouldnt even know its a camera bag. Cons? Its pretty darn big. And with the padded sides, its fairly rigid (as it should be), so its not easy to store if you dont have the space for it. Im pretty happy with it. Worth the price.
