I got the orange one. Its built as good as anything else Ive used. It fits my Canon 650D, and 5~6 lenses and a flash however I want quite well. Ive loaded it with heavy `L telephotos (70-200 F4L) and heavy Tokina wide angle lenses (11-16 F2.8) as well as several primes and it was heavy, but it held fine and I didnt have anything shuffle while I hiked. The front has pockets for accessories. The middle is the main storage for gear. The rear has a slot for a laptop but I use it for waterproof stuff, towels, gloves, hats, etc. I dont think you want a hard laptop/tablet on your back, behind your heavy lenses. Its not waterproof, but comes with a water resistant cover that you can fit over it if youre out in the rain and this works well. Ultimately it does the job, is built well, protects my stuff and is actually comfortable. Zippers are well made and strong. Cant go wrong for this price. The fact that it says Amazon on it instead of Canon is also nice, less people stare at it knowing what it is and think its just a backpack and not a storage bag with $5k+ of equipment.

I bought this bag with little expectations about how it would hold up or how much I could cram inside of it. So heres what I keep in there on a regular basis: Dji Mavic Air 2 drone with 3 batteries, tablet adapter, radio, and charger. iPad Air 3 with folio case 2x Disc golf frisbees 15 gaming laptop and its charger DJI Mavic Mini and all its accessories Needless to say this bag is bigger than it lets on. And it is very comfortable to carry around for long periods of time. I used to be a proponent of hard shell waterproof cases, but they dont do well as luggage. Backpacks make more sense to me. And this one being as cheap as it is, fits the bill PERFECTLY and Im glad I bought it, and recommend others to do the same.

I cant speak about durability since Ive only had it a couple of months, but it is just about perfect for my needs. It has room for all of my photo gear, laptop, and a few other small items, yet it fit perfectly beneath the seat in front of me on the plane. It is padded well for protection, seems to be pretty water resistant, and even has a rain cover I havent used yet. I havent felt a need for the hip belt yet, and wish it were removable. But, it could come in handy in the event I need to carry it a long way. BTW, my photo gear consists of a DSLR body, 100-400mm, 18-135mm, and 10-18mm lenses, a few filters and a battery charger. This still left room for a couple of bottles of prescription meds, extra eyeglasses, a folder for maps, extra pens and highlighters, etc. For the money, this is a great purchase!

Comfortable, versatile, you can attach your tripod to the side, fits everything I need. The main compartment has adjustable walls that are velcro, for a myriad of arrangements. Ive got the camera body, two lenses, the lens that came with the camera, and room for me to stick my wallet and my little makeup bag in there. Theres a section in the front with little pockets in there and a place to clip your keys, plus a separate compartment for my laptop (I have a Macbook Pro 13, and theres probably enough room in there for a 17 computer, and it keeps the computer padded and safe. Best part? Its ORANGE inside. Okay, I hate orange, but the bright orange makes it so easy to find stuff inside. Ladies, you know the black hole that your purse is, when the lining is black? Yeah, thats not an issue with this bag. Seems well made. No Canon or Nikon logo on the outside to signal thieves, in fact, most people wouldnt even know its a camera bag. Cons? Its pretty darn big. And with the padded sides, its fairly rigid (as it should be), so its not easy to store if you dont have the space for it. Im pretty happy with it. Worth the price.

I did some research on others that have used this as an inexpensive way to carry the DJI Phantoms and decided to give it a try for our summer vacation. Was able to get the DJI to fit with some very easy configuration of the inside velcro dividers. Zipping it up was a little tight, but hopefully it will stretch out a over time. I put all the charging cables in the outer zipper pocket and the controller fit in the main storage area. Only small want would be that it had a little more padding, but that is minor. No issues with it during car travel. Reviews like these help me to make purchasing decisions. My views in this review are based only on the product. I bought this bag 4 years ago with some hesitation. I thought because of the price it couldnt possibly be as good as other name-brand bags Ive owned. Well since then Ive taken this bag on dozens of trips, both domestic and international, and Id buy it again in a heartbeat. Ive been on long hikes (well, long for me, 5-10 miles) with it fully loaded and its just as comfortable and functional as packs that cost 4 times as much. The only problem Ive had is the velcro on the side pockets is starting to come loose, but it hasnt failed yet. The rest of the bag is extremely durable and well made. I love the orange interior (makes it so much easer to find black camera bits) and the pockets and dividers are adequate for my kit, which is usually 1 body, 4 lenses, 2 speedlights, etc. The tripod straps on the side are sturdy enough that I never worry about strapping my large tripod to it. Finally, I like that the bag is black and nondescript. Nothing says, please rob me! Im carrying thousands of dollars worth of camera gear, like a brightly colored LowePro bag. I highly recommend this bag for both pros and hobbyists.

Im happy with this camera bag. The cushioned walls are soft but supportive. The removable straps and mini-walls inside the bag make it nicely customizable, and the layout of the pockets and such are useful. I havent had the bag long, but Ive used it on some long shoots and one long vacation, and there are no tears or undone seems -- so far. The construction seems solid, overall. Im not thrilled with the tripod straps on the side. The pocket below the straps -- which some people use to stick a tripod leg into when carrying the tripod alongside the bag -- does not work for my large tripod, so I have to rely on the straps/clips to keep the tripod in place. In hindsight, I think a bag that carries the tripod below the bag is more secure and balanced. I also wish that some of the additional straps (like the large strap that wraps around my stomach) were removable. But overall, Im happy with the bag, especially at this price point.

This is my first AmazonBasics product that Ive purchased, and I had my doubts at first. The pricing was too good to be true when compared to all the storage that the product description mentions, or so I thought. This is one of my favorite photography backpacks Ive tested out, so why the 4 star rating? It lacks in the laptop and accessories storage areas. When I load up my Canon 7D Mark II, a couple of lenses, Rode Directional Mic and flashes, then add my 15.4 laptop and its power cord along with the wireless mouse, backup HDD, and camera accessories the bag starts to feel like its too far past its intended capacity. I feel as thought I either bring everything JUST in case I need it, but then the bag feels like it may explode. Or I only take the bare minimums for my laptop, bringing the feel of the bags capacity down to a manageable feel but risk leaving behind something (like the back up HDD) that I might actually need. I would definitely recommend the bag to a friend though, it may just be my own needs that are a little over demanding. Amazon basics FTW!

I got this bag one day before traveling to Thailand with the plan to also go to a Thai National Forest. I took a Canon 80D with the 18-135 nano attached, 100mm macro, and Sigma 150-600. There was room for the charger, three batteries, a Mophi for field charging, hard drive and extra cards and misc. junk such as a sport camera. The compartment against your back is heavily padded and accommodated my MacBook 13” with plenty of room to spare. I also took some papers that I needed to bring in that compartment. Thailand is warm and I sweated quite a bit but the bag protected everything in that compartment. The middle compartment is for the equipment and has plenty of dividers. The Sigma fit along the side easily and would have fit in the center section on the camera with no problem. The dividers are adjustable with Velcro and can be moved easily. The outside compartment has a zippered pouch that I used for money and passports. There are other sections and a place for pens and notebooks. The pack seems well built and although the trip is only two weeks there is no evidence of any stitching coming loose and everything is solid. The top handle seems to have been re-engineered from earlier versions because it is heavily stitched in. All of the straps are heavy and strongly attached. The only issue that I noted was that the computer compartment zipper is also the part that carries the shoulder straps. The zipper is very strong but you do not want to have both zippers at the top as they can pull open while the pack is on. If both zippers are to one side or the other there is no problem. Be aware that the fully loaded pack will be on the heavier side. Pros: Solidly built Plenty of room Dual zipper pulls on all zippers Straps and back are well padded Cons: The computer compartment zippers can open if not zipped to one side or the other. No air circulation along the back—needs air conditioning No Sherpa provided to help carry the gear The side pockets are too small to carry water bottles. Overall this is a really good buy and I would buy it again.

Nice bag, especially for the price. I believe it will work well for my needs. PROS: -I like the flexibility of the moveable dividers so I can adjust as needed to the lenses, cameras, etc that I am taking out each particular trip. -Seems to have adequate padding to protect my gear. -Nicely padded shoulder straps. But it is not perfect. I dont know where Amazon got the dimensions in their Product Description Key Features section, but they are way off. They list the bags measurements as 15.8 x 11.8 x 19.7 inches. In the Product Details area it is described as 13.2 x 9 x 18 inches, but I only measure the exterior as 12.5 x 6.5 x 17.5. (I included pictures in the Product Images from Customers below. -The back pack looks like it may have some rain resistance, but the bag also comes with what I believe is a rain cover with an elastic band to put over the backpack during rainy conditions. CONS: -Does not fit my 17 Toshiba laptop into the laptop compartment as the description states. It lacks about 1/2 an inch of being able to zip up the laptop compartment. -The strap that goes around the waist is too high for me. I am 6 4 though, so might be ok for average sized person. I will probably just use the shoulder straps and snap the ends together of the waist strap and not use it. Overall I am pleased with the purchase for the price I got it during Black Friday weekend deal. It has more room and flexiblitiy options than my previous backpack.
