This a great and unique camera bag. The orange interior makes it easy to see black camera components so they dont get misplaced. The pack has padding on the back side that shields your backbone from abrasion. This feature makes it very comfortable to carry heavy gear. I have a Nikon D7100 with a 200-500mm Tamron lens mounted that fits very well inside due to the reconfigurable partitions. I found that the zipper handles are top quality and all metal so the other comments about their weakness seem either unfounded or now corrected by Amazon. The only issue that I did have was that I lost one of the two removable velcro fitted straps in a parking lot as I took out my camera. I didnt notice until the next stop that it was missing. We returned to the parking lot and found it. It also has fallen out since then in the car as I took out the camera. I may tack one end down permanently so they cant come off. It is no big deal and it is due to the moderately poor adhesion of the velcro to the orange felt like material in the interior. Perhaps a more aggressive version of the hook side of the velcro would be an improvement. I also got caught out in the rain on a wildlife photoshoot and the supplied rain cover worked spectacularly. I was soaked but the camera gear was dry and safe.

Love this Backpack. Took it to Hawaii with me. I used it as my carry-on. The middle zipper compartment held my camera and lenses. It is very well cushioned. I did not have to worry about my camera and lenses knocking together. The front zipper contained my billfold and other needs for traveling. The back zipper compartment held my 15 computer. I have had issues before where my computer would not fit in carry-on bag. I was pleasantly surprised. One other feature of this backpack is that it comes with a rain cover. While hiking, I used it to cover my camera when we would walk into a little rain showers. The straps are nice and cushioned. There is a lower strap that fits around the waist that is also nicely cushioned. I am a smaller woman, 53 and was able to make the straps small enough for the backpack to ride comfortably on my back. The straps can go a whole lot larger, so could fit a larger man. Another feature is the side pockets, my license and room key went in there. I didnt have to fish around the main compartment to find them when I need them. There are straps on the side of the backpack that you can use to connect your tripod. There were comments about the quality of this backpack. I had no problems with anything tearing off. It was very secure when lifting it from the top handle. I know I could have spent a whole lot more for a camera backpack. All-in-all, it is a great value.

Ive had this bag for about 4 years. It gets pretty loaded and gets pretty heavy with all my gear. The zipper tags are weak and I replaced one of them and the other is in danger of snapping at any moment for the last year. I traveled a lot with this bag, took it on a few flights and use it for most weekends. Unfortunately the zipper started to come apart and I have to let it go. Im trying to find a bag that can hold a little more, but I got more into this than some larger bags can carry. The downfall is the zippers and that it started to tear and it gets dirty pretty easily. Again I put it through a lot of work, and for the price it did way more than I expected it to.

I got the orange one. Its built as good as anything else Ive used. It fits my Canon 650D, and 5~6 lenses and a flash however I want quite well. Ive loaded it with heavy `L telephotos (70-200 F4L) and heavy Tokina wide angle lenses (11-16 F2.8) as well as several primes and it was heavy, but it held fine and I didnt have anything shuffle while I hiked. The front has pockets for accessories. The middle is the main storage for gear. The rear has a slot for a laptop but I use it for waterproof stuff, towels, gloves, hats, etc. I dont think you want a hard laptop/tablet on your back, behind your heavy lenses. Its not waterproof, but comes with a water resistant cover that you can fit over it if youre out in the rain and this works well. Ultimately it does the job, is built well, protects my stuff and is actually comfortable. Zippers are well made and strong. Cant go wrong for this price. The fact that it says Amazon on it instead of Canon is also nice, less people stare at it knowing what it is and think its just a backpack and not a storage bag with $5k+ of equipment.

I have become a fan of Amazon Basic items and this bag is no exception. I had used the Basics DSLR Bag and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Like this bag, it had lots of space for your equipment, with space for two DSLRs and 5-6 lenses, depending on size. I have a Nikon D5100 body, with the kit 18-55 lens and the 55-200. In addition to that, I have a number of old film-era prime lenses from the small 50mm to the long 180mm f/2.8 and the 300mm f/4. This bag handles them with ease and allows me to reconfigure the bag as needed. So far, the bag has held together nicely, even when I load it with my heavy lenses and gear. The straps and belt are strong and easily adjustable. Im a big guy, so its nice to have a bag that easily adjusts to me. I havent hiked with this bag, but the system seems strong, comfortable, and very usable. Space for accessories is the one down side of this bag. This is where I wish they had continued the configuration from the smaller DSLR only bag. The top flap of that bag has a series of clear vinyl zipper pouches on the inside and a large pocket with bungee cord ties on the outside. This bag only has a simple flap over a very nice pocket system on the camera side of the top flap. Id love to have the best of both bags to keep all my accessories, cables, parts, and cards organized. This is a great bag, especially for the price.

price is good, storage and the many different compartments are great, I purchased this a few months ago for my 5D four lenses three flashes half-dozen batteries 40 or so lens filters, TTL cables, memory cards, much more and an iPad and a laptop. It is a good-looking unit and has excellent straps and seems to be a decent backpack however it is starting to come apart at the seams and to be fair I have never once with it as a backpack... in fact oh, its spent most of its time either on my desk or in my passenger seat. It does protect my gear well, and the adjustable compartments in the camera portion are perfect. However, the top handle is falling off already. I imagine within a year I will have to purchase a new one, but it most certainly will not be this one. Sadly while it is a well-put-together unit, cheap thread is its downfall. And upgrade to a nylon polyester type thread would alleviate The Ripping problem entirely as it is not the fabric thats coming apart but the thread itself and I can honestly say Ive carried it by the top handle less than a dozen times. And it wasnt exactly cheap at 35 bucks. Im a bit disappointed but I think we can restitch it with a much stronger thread and that should fix the problem. But judging by what Ive read on these reviews theyre more than aware of the problem. So thats on them. 3 stars is generous imo for something thats barely used and is almost worn out.

I got this bag one day before traveling to Thailand with the plan to also go to a Thai National Forest. I took a Canon 80D with the 18-135 nano attached, 100mm macro, and Sigma 150-600. There was room for the charger, three batteries, a Mophi for field charging, hard drive and extra cards and misc. junk such as a sport camera. The compartment against your back is heavily padded and accommodated my MacBook 13” with plenty of room to spare. I also took some papers that I needed to bring in that compartment. Thailand is warm and I sweated quite a bit but the bag protected everything in that compartment. The middle compartment is for the equipment and has plenty of dividers. The Sigma fit along the side easily and would have fit in the center section on the camera with no problem. The dividers are adjustable with Velcro and can be moved easily. The outside compartment has a zippered pouch that I used for money and passports. There are other sections and a place for pens and notebooks. The pack seems well built and although the trip is only two weeks there is no evidence of any stitching coming loose and everything is solid. The top handle seems to have been re-engineered from earlier versions because it is heavily stitched in. All of the straps are heavy and strongly attached. The only issue that I noted was that the computer compartment zipper is also the part that carries the shoulder straps. The zipper is very strong but you do not want to have both zippers at the top as they can pull open while the pack is on. If both zippers are to one side or the other there is no problem. Be aware that the fully loaded pack will be on the heavier side. Pros: Solidly built Plenty of room Dual zipper pulls on all zippers Straps and back are well padded Cons: The computer compartment zippers can open if not zipped to one side or the other. No air circulation along the back—needs air conditioning No Sherpa provided to help carry the gear The side pockets are too small to carry water bottles. Overall this is a really good buy and I would buy it again.

This is on the same level of high end bags, and the truth about a camera bag is you will buy many over the years..i do out door photography and weddings and the like, every day packing it up unpacking to the deep woods or in the mountains to the studio, the bag takes a beating. Most of the time i replace mine in a year for one reason or another rip, bad zipper or strap ripped off. this pack has out lived a 400 pack! so this is my go to gear bag i could careless about brand at this point save the money for new glass dont waste it on high bags get this one. its been almost 3 years! that is a life time to me for bags! the space is so so.. not the best but not the worst, i can take along a D5 mark II and 1D X mark II and 4 lens plus a laptop and a good cleaning kit extra batteries and some snacks ;) it will be at around 75 pounds when i am done some times less depending what i am doing but all and all its at max and takes it well! cant say enough for the price this is the way to go.

I am a pro photographer and I travel all the time both for work and play. Like most of you reading this I usually bring way too much gear with me. I have used the smaller $30 version of this bag for the past several years. I wanted a bag that was bigger - fit more lenses, etc. I bought another brand of pro bag from Amazon for 5X the cost of this bag and I sent it back (it wasnt any bigger than the Amazon bag I had). Then I saw this one - super glad I bought it. I have attached an example of what this bag will hold (this is just the main pocket - I can fit other stuff in the bag too). In the photo is a D4, 200-500, 70-200, 50mm and a 16-20 ultrawide (bigger then the Nikon 14-24) a D7000 body and a teleconverter as well. I probably wouldnt carry all of this at once but I wanted to see if it would all fit. Love the bag and Ill buy another just to have two. Cant beat the price either!
