> 3 dayThis is my first AmazonBasics product that Ive purchased, and I had my doubts at first. The pricing was too good to be true when compared to all the storage that the product description mentions, or so I thought. This is one of my favorite photography backpacks Ive tested out, so why the 4 star rating? It lacks in the laptop and accessories storage areas. When I load up my Canon 7D Mark II, a couple of lenses, Rode Directional Mic and flashes, then add my 15.4 laptop and its power cord along with the wireless mouse, backup HDD, and camera accessories the bag starts to feel like its too far past its intended capacity. I feel as thought I either bring everything JUST in case I need it, but then the bag feels like it may explode. Or I only take the bare minimums for my laptop, bringing the feel of the bags capacity down to a manageable feel but risk leaving behind something (like the back up HDD) that I might actually need. I would definitely recommend the bag to a friend though, it may just be my own needs that are a little over demanding. Amazon basics FTW!

> 3 dayI got this bag one day before traveling to Thailand with the plan to also go to a Thai National Forest. I took a Canon 80D with the 18-135 nano attached, 100mm macro, and Sigma 150-600. There was room for the charger, three batteries, a Mophi for field charging, hard drive and extra cards and misc. junk such as a sport camera. The compartment against your back is heavily padded and accommodated my MacBook 13” with plenty of room to spare. I also took some papers that I needed to bring in that compartment. Thailand is warm and I sweated quite a bit but the bag protected everything in that compartment. The middle compartment is for the equipment and has plenty of dividers. The Sigma fit along the side easily and would have fit in the center section on the camera with no problem. The dividers are adjustable with Velcro and can be moved easily. The outside compartment has a zippered pouch that I used for money and passports. There are other sections and a place for pens and notebooks. The pack seems well built and although the trip is only two weeks there is no evidence of any stitching coming loose and everything is solid. The top handle seems to have been re-engineered from earlier versions because it is heavily stitched in. All of the straps are heavy and strongly attached. The only issue that I noted was that the computer compartment zipper is also the part that carries the shoulder straps. The zipper is very strong but you do not want to have both zippers at the top as they can pull open while the pack is on. If both zippers are to one side or the other there is no problem. Be aware that the fully loaded pack will be on the heavier side. Pros: Solidly built Plenty of room Dual zipper pulls on all zippers Straps and back are well padded Cons: The computer compartment zippers can open if not zipped to one side or the other. No air circulation along the back—needs air conditioning No Sherpa provided to help carry the gear The side pockets are too small to carry water bottles. Overall this is a really good buy and I would buy it again.

> 3 dayThis bag came as part of a package deal when I got my camera so I didnt have high expectations for it. I am not a photographer by any means, I am a web/graphic student interested in shooting my own stock photos. That being said, I do like that I am able to bring all my camera gear with me, and with the extra space in the padded compartment, I am able to fit a few extras since I do not have many lenses or the other gear that many photographers would normally carry. I am usually able to carry a binder with my pens/pencils and other drawing gear in the padded area as well as a small Wacom drawing tablet as well as my lunch and other charging cables since there is so much room. The padded laptop area fits my 13 macbook pro just fine with room for a sketchpad which is larger than my laptop. The accessories area is pretty small for me, but I carry a lot of gear. So for the days I am in school and have a lot to carry, it isnt really convenient, but if I am just going out shooting pictures, it is perfect enough to carry some cleaning items, extra cards and extra batteries. It is a VERY comfortable backpack. The padding on the straps as well as the back are nice. Also living near Seattle and going to school there, the included rain protector is a nice added touch. I probably would have gone with a more expensive backpack/camera bag, but since it came with my camera I tried it out and like it. I would probably buy this brand again, just in a different size.

> 3 dayI only have a small camera bag to compare this to, but this is awesome for my first big bag. The main compartment dividers are fully customizable, I reversed my so the camera body is at the top instead the bottom, however, be aware that by inverting the dividers the top of the bag is shallower than the bottom, the dividers will be slightly taller than the bag body. So far, it has worked great, I carry a Canon T3i, 18-55 lens, 55-250 lens, SD cards, batteries, charger, filters, and a few other odds and ends. I havent tried putting my notebook in it yet, but I believe it will fit with room to spare. The straps on the side are nice for securing your tripod, keeps it from having to be hand carried. I can already see that I will probably outgrow this bag rather quickly with acquiring more gear, but who knows, I may just buy another and divide the gear into shoot specific bags. Great product so far, Ill revisit this review if I come across any problems. P.S. It also comes with a slip-on rain cover.

> 3 dayThis is a solid backpack with tons of room to spare. In the main compartment you can remove all the dividers and set them up in whatever configuration works best for your needs. There is a place for a regular sized laptop to go into, (You couldnt fit a bulky Gaming laptop such as the ASUS ROG G75VW I have in it) and there is a front pocket with a few small pockets to store accessories as well as a couple side pockets and straps to hold a tripod. The backpack straps are OK, dont expect them to be top of the line though. I really dont mind since I just use to top handle instead. The only con I have this this back pack is the front section could use a few more pockets. I have a lot of small accessories and cables that are bunched together that could use some organization. ***I have had this backpack for about a year now and it has held up great! I do want to not though that when you zip up any of the compartments (especially the laptop compartment) make sure that the zippers arent near the top of the pack or else the pack will unzip itself while you are wearing it.***

> 3 dayJust received this bag today, on time, as promised. I selected this backpack bag for a new camera purchase and I didnt want to spend a fortune on it. This bag is designed to have the camera at the bottom, not at the top (I thought I ordered the bag with the camera positioned at the top, not the bottom, but I made the mistake.) The bag is slightly deeper at the bottom than the top and the adjustable dividers inside are tapered to align with the bag. Reversing the dividers to position the camera at the top, for easy access, works. The front flap is well padded, so I dont worry about the camera sitting above the dividers. The straps are securely attached by being sewn around the outside and across forming an x in a square. Material feels comparable in quality to my much more costly REI backpack that Ive used nearly daily since 2005. The chest and waist straps are amble size and the bag rides comfortably on the shoulders. The curved shoulder straps add to the comfort and I think the external padding on the back will make it nice on a hike. Unfortunately, the bag is not waterproof, but does come with a rainhood. The tapered dividers and lack of waterproofing are the reasons I gave it 4 stars. If it falls apart on the first trip, Ill let you know.

Greater than one weekJust arrived and loaded it, heres my initial feedback: First, it has three significant failures: 1) no water bottle pocket (I knew this when I bought it) 2) poor organization for accessories - batteries, cables, chargers, caps, etc - the front pocket is the only place, and its more oriented towards pens/pads/etc and only opens halfway down the face. ZERO access from inside the camera compartment for the small stuff, (like when you pull your lens caps and want to stick them somewhere while the lenses are in use...) 3) the cross-body straps DO NOT store and DO NOT remove - the waist-wrap strap, while a nice feature, doesnt stow. so use it, or get tangled in it. the cross-chest strap (that ties the shoulder straps together) also doesnt stow or remove. 1 and 2 knocked a star off....but 3 really brings this to 3 stars. NOTE on layout - dont expect to have easy top-access to a body+lens - the design of the organizers forces that to the bottom of the bag, lens pointing up. For the price, its decent - and I was able to load a 300mm and 400mm (or a pair of 300mm) f4 lenses, 2 sony e mount bodies, 18-55mm and 55-210mm sony lenses, a 18-200mm zoom, 28mm, 35mm, and 50mm prime - and many F, MD, K, and EF lens adapters, 2x teleconverter, a set of macro ring spacers, and my sling strap. Finding a non-backpack bag to give good access to a pair of super teles has been pretty challenging, and this took it all for a low price. well see how it holds up to hauling it all (well, a subset)!

> 3 dayIve had this bag for about 4 years. It gets pretty loaded and gets pretty heavy with all my gear. The zipper tags are weak and I replaced one of them and the other is in danger of snapping at any moment for the last year. I traveled a lot with this bag, took it on a few flights and use it for most weekends. Unfortunately the zipper started to come apart and I have to let it go. Im trying to find a bag that can hold a little more, but I got more into this than some larger bags can carry. The downfall is the zippers and that it started to tear and it gets dirty pretty easily. Again I put it through a lot of work, and for the price it did way more than I expected it to.

> 3 dayI HAVE LUGGED THIS AROUND FOR 7 DAYS NOW AND LOVE IT! 1.) all of the dividers are completely removable. 2.) It customizes nicely to hold my, (1) CANON EOS 6D (1) GOSSEN LUNA-STAR F light meter (1) BATTERY GRIP (4) EXTRA BATTERIES (1) SPEEDLIGHT 430EX11 and MY 5 FAVORITE FILTERS. this leaves enough room at the top (2 spaces 3x4) for extra flash batteries, a small lens or a very small snack. This a great bag for the money comparing it to a $79.00 bag that didnt have a place for my laptop. This bag IS NOT deep enough to safely hold a Cannon EOS 6D with a battery grip attached (I wish it was, but I think that I will adapt rather than try to find another bag at this time. The case will shut, but the camera with the grip attached will stick up about 1.25 inch. It will however fit if the lens is removed. 3.) When loaded is sets about 8.5 off my back and is about 18 tall. The loops on the side will hold a tripod, mine is about 16-17 collapsed and designed for travel. There is a lot of room in this bag. 4.) This bag shoulders well, the adjustable shoulder straps are very comfortable and have a D ring (looks like composite nylon) on each side.. It has a padded waist belt and a chest (sternum) strap. 5.) There is ample room in the back for a 15.5 x 10.25 inch Laptop it has (2) side pockets that are large enough to hold a wireless mouse or a couple bags of skittles. Attached to the side are (2) buckle straps for securing a tripod and as pictured in the very front there is a nice compartment that has smaller pockets to hold other essential things chargers, cords, filters. My primary use for this bag will be to carry on while traveling so the above issue of depth is not a concern. I would recommend this product to anyone who was looking similar purpose bag.

> 3 dayI use this backpack on a daily basis and so far its holding up really well. The laptop sleeve can easily fit a 15in MacBook Pro and an iPad; the camera section is great and I feel like my gear is protected, and the front pocket is good for holding spare batteries, chargers, and other stuff like that. The only downside is that because of how the backpack is shaped and how the pads/wall things are shaped, there are only a few ways to configure it that Ive found work well. I also wish it was a bit larger, but it fits my DSLR, 3 (soon to be 4) lenses, and my gorilla pod just fine, in addition to everything that can fit in the other pockets. Edit: This thing is still awesome. Over the last year and a half, it’s held up very well, with no rips or fraying, and has continued to meet my needs as I’ve grown as a photographer and videographer. It’s still not quite perfect. It’s still a tad small, the front pocket is small but functional, and there are only so many ways it can be configured. With that said, I’ve still managed to fit: A canon 7D mark ii with the battery grip A canon T5 A 50mm f/1.8 A 24mm f/2.8 A gorilla pod An ND filter A full blown Monfroto tripod (separated into two pieces, but it still fits) Chargers for both battery types I carry Three or four spare batteries (could easily fit more) A spare battery grip insert (to power the 7D off of AAA batteries) Loads of miscellaneous cables A pelican SD card case And then a laptop and and ipad and a water bottle strapped to the side. For 35 bucks, you CANNOT go wrong with this backpack.
