> 3 dayI had a few issues, on my own fault, and the support that I got was very quick and helpful ! Quite frankly, I was surprised at how good it was. The product itself did have a few black frames copied to the DVD while I could see it on the TV screen, but this was not much and overall I am very satisfied !

> 3 daySoftware was not very easy to follow and the brief explanation of function was not always accurate. Ended up emailing Tech Support, who gave me all the help they could until it was decided they would steer me to another product that was more professional and easier to use. After that, everything fell into place and I had it working fine. I would not buy this product unless it was vastly upgraded. Tech Support was outstanding!

> 3 dayThe USB device (the hardware) works excellently. Literally plug-n-play. I had the same problem as many other reviews, the audio gets out of sync with the video, getting increasingly worse the longer the recording runs. Solution: I used OBS Studio (search for it on the Internet) rather than the software that comes with the device. The audio stays perfectly in sync, and frankly, I think the video quality is a bit better too. Couldnt be happier with this product when using OBS Studio.

> 3 dayWorks as advertised to convert your old VHS tapes (you need a VHS player) to digital format. The problem is, the resolution cant be any better than the original used to record the material. By todays standards, HQ VHS sucks. Id still use it to save family recordings but Ive thrown away my James Bond movies stored on tape.

> 3 dayI was a bit dismayed after hooking up & following directions in the pdf. Did not get the frame size option after tapping configuration on the screen. Contacted tech help & was told to make sure my camera & microphone apps were set to on. The camera app was not, so after making the correction I was good to go. Once you get it set up its very easy to use.

16-04-2025The USB device seems to be pretty good, but the VHS2DVD Wizard software leaves a lot to be desired and is very buggy. On one of my computers, the preview screen was very small and was truncated on one side so that I could not see the entire picture that was being displayed by the video tape player. I contacted support for the product and they promptly replied that I should lower my screen resolution and possibly move the application window to the far left of my screen. Changing the resolution had no effect but moving the window to the left did cause the entire video to be displayed although still very small. Both the editor and the dvd burner parts of the software and constantly hanging up when certain things are done. The software also cutoff the first 15 to 20 minutes of my capture for no apparent reason. Was able to use the USB device with other capture software that I have in order to transfer my VHS tapes to DVD. Would really not recommend this product to anyone.

> 3 dayThe software had a compatibly issue with my computer which was running Windows 10. The video preview was not displaying and I was receiving error messages from the program reference the path to my C: drive when I clicked on a program button. I contacted Tech Support via email and they responded very quickly. After some email exchanges to trouble shoot the problem, they provided a software update which resolved the issues. The program works great and I can now transfer my camcorder Hi8 tapes onto my computer with the preview screen working. Excellent tech support.

> 3 dayBought this to convert old VHS movies to DVD. The setup went flawlessly (Im running Windows 10). The directions were clear and easy to follow. Ive done a couple of conversions so far. No real issues with the conversion nor with the burning of the DVDs. The original quality of the VHS tape dictates the quality of the DVD, you cant make it better than the original - at least not with this software. Very happy with this product.

> 3 dayThis works! And it doesnt require a computer science degree! The editing function could use some work - not super intuitive.

> 3 dayI was unable to get this to work under windows 10 - I sent an email off to support and got outstanding support from them. We tried a variety of things and ultimately I was unable to get it to work under windows 10, but I have another older windows 7 box and I was able to get it to work using that machine. Im giving it 3 stars due to the setup/configuration issues - setup should be more straightforward I think - Ideally it should be a plug and play solution. Once we did get it to work, however, the quality of the captured video was very good. It looks the same as playing the VCR tape itself, so I found no degradation at all. I cant thank their support enough - it was superb. I doubt I would have gotten that level of support with cheaper devices.
