Elgato Stream Deck Classic - Live production controller with 15 customizable LCD keys and adjustable stand, trigger actions in OBS Studio, Streamlabs, Twitch, YouTube and more, works with PC/Mac

This amazingly versatile controller allows me to manage a lot of whats important to me: controls in zoom meetings, timers, app launching, etc. The one down side is that launching Google Assistant routines is beyond the capabilities of most, a point which is not made clear in the description. However, its still a great controller to have on my desktop!

So I absolutely love this thing. It makes EVERYTHING easier - from my 3d modeling keystrokes, shortcuts, launching Programs and just being awesome to look at and customize, I just have a few quick quips which stop the perfect 5 star review: 1: I cant do quick strings of text, only shortcuts. You can post chat messages and the like to Twitch, or YouTube, but Im not a streamer, so.. 2: The included pictures are everything Ive done for my keys; the problem? You have to access their website to make the little thumbnails, and the link was.. a tad hard to find. Its not included in the download, which makes absolutely no sense. 3: Ive seen people do actual coding for keys to this, but I have no clue how. Id love a way to learn this. But for now, in my first week, its amazing. Ill be sure to edit this as time goes on!

I use my Streamdeck mainly for recording YouTube videos. As a voice talent, I also use it to help streamline my workflow in the Digital Audio Workstation. Also, being able to create my own icons for the different buttons and it projects them... rather than me having to print them on sticky labels and hope I got it right :-)... is a fantastic bonus. Its a little expensive; but its worth it.

I pre-orderd the Elgato Stream Deck for use in our Play 4 PawZ charity stream on May 26, 2017. I was a bit worried it may not get here in time if there was a shortage in supply but Elgato was ready for the demand and Amazon got it here within 2 days. After getting it my concern was would I be able to figure out exactly how to use it in time for the event but this thing is VERY EASY to program and use. If youre a streamer thats been using a keyboard to control your stream those days are over! No more taping little pieces of paper labeled with the actions to tiny keys on a keyboard! Each button on the Stream Deck can be labeled with your own graphics simply by dragging the graphic you want the button to show into the Stream Deck program. Programing the buttons is so easy ANYONE can effectively program all the buttons and use the Stream Deck. I have mine programed to perform any action in OBS that I will use throughout the stream by just pushing one of the buttons. Tweeting is a breeze while streaming as well. Just type up the tweet before hand in the Stream Deck Software and push the button when its time. Your Tweet goes out instantly. No need to think of witty typo free Tweets when youre tired! Need to tweet, push a button. Need to flip over to a scene in OBS, push a button. Need to take a potty break, push a button (no it wont pee for you but it will flip over to a brb scene). NO MORE FUMBLING AROUND!! Almost any action behind the scenes in the stream can be done with this device. It has 15 buttons that can each be programmed to perform different actions. You can also make folders and therefor create even more actions. When youve been playing for 12 hours straight and still have 12 to go you need things to be simple! The stream Deck itself is small at about 4 3/4 inches long, 3 1/4 inches tall and about 1 inch at its thickest point. It comes with a little stand that you can adjust to whatever angle is right for you. There are little rubber pads on the bottom of the stand that keep it from sliding even on my glass table top when I push a button. The cord on it is a bit short but I used a USB extension and it worked fine. It doesnt like USB hubs too much so stay away from using them. The Stream Deck worked wonderfully with my 4 year old PC that runs Windows 10. I stream using my Xbox One, Astro A50 Wireless headset with base station, Elgato Game Capture HD60 Pro, OBS and a Logitech cam. All worked seamlessly together. For me the Elgato Stream Deck is exactly what I needed. Its compact, easy to program, easy to use and all around just makes my streaming experience streamlined and simple which is exactly what I needed. Our Twitch Manager is always holding my hand through the set up for each stream but not with the Elgato Stream Deck. Elgato knocked it out of the park once again with another dependable easy to use product for streamers! In the future our other three streamers will all be equipped with one as well.

Bought the 6 key and i knew I had to buy the 15 key one

Second Unit purchased, was able to upload saved files from 15-button unit and expand with ease. Love using these Stream Deck devices with OBS and other things on my MAC computer. If you havent downloaded the Stream Deck app for your iPhone to control as you walk around the music venue or stage production, your really missing something. You can even create different button segments for the deck and your iPhone to expand to change things like camera A to B on the fly if you see something worth changing fast!

I really love the way it works. The display is clear and bright. The buttons all function. There are tons of options and presets. The unit fit behind my keyboard nicely, making for quick access. I only took away one star for this reason: The unit I received was obviously used/returned. The seals were cut, the cord was clearly retied, and there even prints on the device itself.

I love having macros set up for anything I can have one for, but having a 10 keyless keyboard means that the number of keys I have to put macros on without interfering with games and programs is very few. The Strem Deck has been an answer to my prayers. I have keys for everything. My favorite sites I like to visit, buttons for launching my favorite games, controlling my music via Spotify, capturing gameplay clips with Nvidia Shadowplay which I always forget the key combo for, and even a whole slew of copypastas to send to Discord, as well as shortcuts for Discord emojis. Each with its own picture on its key, and even animated ones! A nice touch of detail has been that on their website for making custom key icons, theres even a section to convert a wallpaper into key backgrounds so you can have all the keys come to form a whole photo. Cannot recommend this product enough. My only gripe is a personal one as I cannot decide on a final setup, and am always changing things around on it.

I use this for every mode of business. I can set it up for video recording session, DJ, administrative work pressing a button to go to certain network drives and opening apps. Saves a lot of clicks (time).
