> 24 hourIt great looks good and the plug seems to be hermetically sealed on the backside to prevent any moisture or water to get into the plug great product. the only thing that IO didnt like was the bracket that it comes with. Seamed flimsy to me and I didnt have any good place to mount it. So I just=cut a hole in my bumper and mounted the plug Looks great and mounted solid..

> 24 hourI have purchased several of these little guys for the purpose of installing them on all of my tow-capable vehicles. They work great, and do include all of the necessary hardware and bracketry to mount onto a vehicle. I wish they came with heat shrink butt connectors, but my guess is that request would drive the price up. All of the contact surfaces were clean and corrosion free. The rear of the round connector appears to be water tight and durable. The copper wiring meets all of the AWG specs for the application it is designed for. I did use this in conjunction with a

> 24 hourGave it 4 stars because the mounting bracket is very thin and flimsy, will probably have to build a more solid bracket in the future.

> 24 hourMounting this to my 2016 Chevy Express van was a piece of cake. Didnt need instructions. Mounted to bottom of bumper left of the hitch. Looks and functions as factory installed. Nice and secure, clean, now maintenance free. Coupled with the Curt 55540 and the and Curt 14090, I have a total of 180 bucks and less than 45 minutes work into this with all 3 items. Was quoted $850-$1,000 from installers/dealers. Ridiculous. Did this myself for over 80% less!

> 24 hourEasy install and a quality product. The Dual connection option is a useful addition to my trailer towing ability. No need to have adapters floating around to lose or search for when a flat 4 wire plug is required. The plug was easy to install with the purchase of a wiring adapter needed for your particular vehicle. You MUST make a separate ground connection for this plug to work it does not piggyback the ground from the flat plug ground. Other than the additional ground the connection is easy and straight forward. Did not use the mounting bracket it was kind of light in strength I drilled a mounting hole in my bumper near the License plate to mount the plug. Better placement and protected from road hazards in this location. It is also illuminated at night by the License Plate Lights which makes for easier vision in the dark. ******************************************************************************************************* Used it to tow my boat and trailer (5000 lbs.)with disc surge brakes and reverse lock out relay from Cape Cod MA to SW Florida (1700 miles) and did not have a single problem it worked flawlessly.

> 24 hourInstalled this on my old 97 Dodge Ram 1500 plow truck. Easy hook up, was able to wire trailer brakes and auxiliary feed easily, and best part is that the rear part of the plug is potted so no worries about moisture or corrosion at the wire terminals. I paid more for open backed plugs that corroded from road salt in a year.

> 24 hourFord couldn’t get a factory controller to work with my 2017 Expedition with tow prep package. I bought this and Hopkins brake controller with quick connect plug to my factory brake controller wire. Had everything installed and working out n 15 minutes. Plug the 4 way flat to 4 way flat tap ground to frame and splice brake wire together and 12v constant if you have to charge camper battery. Mount adapter. DONE

> 24 hourSimple and easy way to make up for Fords Super failure in their 1999 Super Duty truck. Dont get me wrong - I LOVE my truck but what was Ford thinking producing a truck of this caliber with no RV7 trailer plug. Sure in 2001 they fixed the problem but I dont HAVE a 2001 truck. This was an excellent way to get on the road immediately to bring our new (to us - 1995 28 trailer) camper home from the seller. Some extra wire hookups and a brake controller and now my truck is a TRUCK again.

> 24 hourI added this to an old Ford Explorer that only had a factory flat-4 trailer wiring harness. Now I have the option of towing a trailer with the RV style 7-pin or an old school flat-4 plug in it. The flat-4 portion plugs directly into the existing flat-4 wiring on the vehicle so you dont have to cut anything off of the vehicle. The only thing you have to wire in is 12V auxiliary power and back-up lights, but only if you need them. Since my trailer does not use either of those options I just taped those wires up and left them there in case I want to wire them in later. It also comes with a mounting bracket and screws so mounting it is a piece of cake. I only had to drill two holes to mount the bracket. I would definitely buy again.

> 24 hourLoved this product. It helped me to add a seven pin trailer plug to my 4 pin plug on my Santa Fe 2021 without loosingmy 4 pin. You immediately get the brake light/tail light function for your 7 plug. For trailer electrical brake you will need to install a brake controller though Very! Very limited instruction was the the only downside. I used uhaul instalation videos on YouTube that were very helpful.
