> 3 dayAfter searching for a 7 pin adapter for my 1999 Tahoe, I purchased this 4 pin flat connector wiring kit with Hopkins 41125 LiteMate Vehicle to Trailer Wiring Kit. It was straight plug and play for my truck. I will note that you need to buy self tapping screws, as they were not included in the hardware.

> 3 dayworks great after you replace the fasteners on the bracket with slightly larger ones that have nylon lock nuts. Couldnt keep the bracket tight worth a damn with the stock hardware, worked itself loose almost daily. the screws that hold the socket into the bracket were fine though. they just need to improve the bracket fasteners by making them a little bigger & using lock nuts instead of jamb nuts

Greater than one weekWorks just fine, installation was prety straight forward. A couple notes for those diy installers. The inputs to the 7 way are the old 4 way plug and then brake controller, power, ground, and reverse. If you already have a 4 way the power from that line is dead ended so instead of running a new power you can splice the 4 way. Also universal adapter - tow ready 118136 is highly recommended.

Greater than one weekPerfect fit, works good. But 7 blade cap is flimsy plastic. Doesnt seem like it will last. Also the gauge wire for the battery lead a is the same as the lighting, not as heavy as the electric brake wire. I run a heavy gauge battery wire to the trailer so I can charge not only the break-away battery, but also an on board ( camping, hydraulics or accessory) full size battery. But good price and easy install

> 3 dayThis is a solid adapter that will add a 7 round to your 4 flat plug. It takes a minimum of wiring, and the instructions are adequate, though I had to make use of some online resources. The materials are tough, and I am not afraid this will break at some point. The only reason that I subtracted stars was because the assembly of the adapter was not so great. The center screw on the front of the plug that holds the center wire in was practically falling out. It wasnt that noticeable, and so I spent a good deal of time trying to figure out why not all of my connections were being made.

> 3 dayLoved this product. It helped me to add a seven pin trailer plug to my 4 pin plug on my Santa Fe 2021 without loosingmy 4 pin. You immediately get the brake light/tail light function for your 7 plug. For trailer electrical brake you will need to install a brake controller though Very! Very limited instruction was the the only downside. I used uhaul instalation videos on YouTube that were very helpful.

> 3 dayWhat arrived was exactly what I ordered. There is quite a price range on similar product and I went to the center as this is for my 1999 Dodge Durango that I use only to launch my boat. What I got was impressive for the price. Everything for a complete install was included (bracket, unit, wiring, screws, etc.) and the quality is good. I wasnt expecting the leads to be sealed (wax like substance to fight water/corrosion) and this is a bonus for guys like me (again, the Dodge stays at the lake snapped to the boat and is used to launch/retrieve the boat). Also, the leads at the other end (where the wiring connects to the tow vehicle) came pre-assembled with butt connectors already attached. Not only do you not have to supply the connectors to install (I know, not a huge expense but just to call it out), but what a snap to connect to your vehicle. Just put your tow vehicle wires in and crimp. Nice! The wiring is a quality grade and the bracket is sturdy. If you are price shopping and you choose this one, expect to get more than you paid for relatively speaking.
