Worked perfectly on my 1/3 horsepower Chamerlain LiftMaster model 41A5021-1F opener. If your chain goes slack you may want to suspect you need this kit due to the top bushing having worn out. Disconnect the chain from the sprocket. If there is play in the sprocket shaft, you need to replace the assembly. The instructions are far more cumbersome than the actual replacement. A word of caution though: be careful how you align the mounting plate before screwing it in place. It has rectangular holes for a plastic sprocket guard. These holes need to be correctly positioned or the guard cannot be reinstalled. I learned this the hard way and had to redo several steps.

I watched a youtube video to guide me but there are simple instructions included. All parts were here and this is the OEM part pack. Fit my Liftmaster 1/2 HP opener from 2009

The part worked great. I only replaced the sprocket, all other parts looked fine. I tightened the chain too much on the original and it sheared right off. This was a cost effective solution and it only took about two hours, this was my first repair of this kind.

Kit worked just fine on my Chamberlain. Found installation youtube, but the job was a little bit more difficult than it appeared (there are several unique challenges involved if you disassemble an *installed* motor vs. one sitting on a table). But got it done. Parts of good quality and fit.

This solved my issue, just hope it can be a better price.

Good product. Would order again, takes a certain amount of mechanical skill to install!

Just what I needed to repair my door. Saved a nice piece of change by getting these parts and fixing it myself.

it was a perfect replacement for my opener. it took me about 2 hours for me to replace it along with cleaning parts from grease. My worm gear was not worn so i didnt replace it.

My main drive sprocket looked like shredded cheese inside my garage door case. It was easier to buy the full assembly and replace the whole thing. From start to finish in maybe 90 minutes tops, and we worked at a leisurely pace. Great for DIYers
