    Greater than one week

About 3 months ago, one of my 16 year old garage door openers quit working (I could hear the motor running but door wouldnt lift). I opened up the case on the garage door opener and saw that the main gear had stripped. I searched the web and ran across this kit. I figured I would give it a try. Well, it worked perfectly. I was amazed to be able to find repair parts for such an old door opener and was pleased that I could repair my door opener for around $20 instead of buying a new one. Installation took about an hour and a half. Was so pleased that when my other opener exhibited the same problem this month, I didnt hesitate to order another one.

Included all of the necessary parts and grease for replacing the drive sprocket on my LiftMaster 1/2HP. As the product description states, i downloaded the Owners Manual for my model opener and confirmed the part number needed for the sprocket replacement. Quick delivery.

great advise on the prior comments, just be warned, if you let the circuit board hang there are hot connections very close to the metal frame and a spinning piece that will end up rubbing it. I get the prize for saving it from the spinning piece only to short it out on the metal frame. Blew out 3 sections of conductor and added another hour to my install time soldering in new conductor. Nailed it!

Great deal, I was able to fix my garage door opener by myself and save money and time of having to by a whole new opener and install it. Overall it took me about 45 minutes to fix.
