Lixit Critter Space Pod, Perfect for Small Animals (Small)

My boys love their space pod!!! Its sturdy plastic, easy to clean, easy to clip onto the cage, and holds a good number of rats LOL. Our fatties love to cuddle and sleep in their space pod and its a great product! A must have if you have rats!

Our rats love this product. All three of our girls can fit inside for snuggles. Ease of cleaning and installation is an added attraction. Great addition to any rat setup. They have not chewed on it at all after several months of use, but if your rats are plastic chewers you may want to stick to other materials.

...so much that all 3 of them feel they must be in it at once. One full size rat fits well in it, 2 fit comfortably, 3 they fit but I cant say how comfortable they are. We ended up getting two space pods, yet all 3 of our boys sitll prefer to cram into one. Whatever floats their boat! If a larger size were ever created, wed get it in a second. Good price, easy to clean. Highly recommended. Our boys dont even use their igloo anymore after getting this.

My Rats love this. It is the perfect size. All three of my female adult rats fit in it. It is always occupied with at least one of my fur babies. The color is nice as well. It has two different colors on it and It so happens that I have two cages with both of those colors. I was a little worried that it wouldnt hook up to the top of my cage being my Rat cage is really a giant Bird cage. I figured I can always turn it up side down on a shelf if it didnt hang or use it on my smaller cage. It hooked up to the top just fine. Its flexable so if your bars are farther apart it will still hook on them. I recommend this space Pod to all my fellow rat lovers.

Our rats love their space pods! They’re easy to clean and very durable—as long as you’re somewhat careful not to break off the tabs while hanging them, they will last for years, and even with tabs broken off they can still be used on the cage floor. Definitely a worthwhile purchase for rat owners to add to their rats’ hammock set-up!

My girls absolutely LOVE AND ADORE their space pod- they will sleep, hangout, snack, and hide in it- it is one of their favorite spots and I might order another one someday to stand on the bottom of the cage as this one is hanging at the top.... Would 100% recommend to rat owners- in addition to loving it my girls havent chewed it one bit either (cant promise your babies wont) but hey love it- its easy to clean and it I would but it again and again!

My rats love to hide and sleep in this! The only problem I encountered is that the plastic mounting clips are a bit cockeyed and dont fit well to the the wires of the top of my cage, one side always slipped off and eventually broke. My husband and I use floral wire to secure that one support arm, works great and the ratties are happy!

My daughters fancy mice love it. I didnt need instructions to put it together. Snap snap snap and all done. We hung it in the cage and the fancy mice flocked to it out of curiosity. They are fun.

My son has 2 female fancy rats. This seems to be perfect for them both. Its just right, not too small but certainly not too big. I know male rats are larger and I think they would fit as well. But without having them I cant know for sure. We have a Martins cage and it will only hang from the top since the wire grid is more rectangular. The shelves are more square. But we could have also turned it over (as shown) and just placed it on one of the shelves just fine. Looks like it will be easy to clean. We did put nesting material in there and some small treats to introduce them. Both the rats have already been in and out of it.

If youre priorities are convenience and cleanliness, then this is the item for your pet! I have 3 rats that share this space, and they love it! I have mine hanging from the top of the cage which they can reach easily by climbing to the top level. For their enjoyment I toss in a torn paper towel which they shred up for some extra bedding (NOT necessary, they will cozy up in there just as well without it, ... its just to give them something to do). The best part is how easily this attaches to the cage, and stays in place! Ive been using mine a few months now and it has never come loose. Yet its easy to remove for cleaning, ... which is the best part. It just pops apart and can be washed with soap and water! Beats out any other house, dome, or igloo Ive tried yet. My rats choose this spot to sleep over every other place in the cage. I plan on buying another one!
