Lixit Critter Space Pod, Perfect for Small Animals (Small)

My chinchilla loves this, but he’s too large for the bottom piece to be connected. He uses this shelter for sleep or when playing hide-n-seek with me.

Everyone loves these but mine came misshapen and no matter what I did they never got in shape enough to put together.

I bought a very large cage for my rats first, the Super Pet My First Home. I received the cage before this, so first they adjusted to the increased amount of space and slept on the levels and their igloo. When this came in the mail, I placed it so that it hung from the top and put a wood ladder to it so they could get up there easily. I had to place one inside it first, but after they realized it was safe and comfy, thats the only place they sleep. I have three (large) rats and they all squeeze into it comfortably.

I like how versatile they are. Easy to hang or stand. I’m ordering a few more to add around their cages.

I have to angal it weirdly to hang it up and its still at risk for falling. I bought this for my 2 girl rats, its not really the most popular item in the cage. I recomend to just get a cardboard box and tie it to the top of the cage and replace it every so often.

its a decent nest spot, and my rats do like hanging out in it. its pretty thin plastic -- a determined rodent could definitely chew through, but mine arent particularly interested in doing so. 4 stars because the hang clips dont actually work, so it has to sit on a surface. i like that its extremely easy to take apart and clean.

My rats loved this. I thought it was super cool that you can hang it or just put it on the ground. I hung it from the top of their cage. One of the bits that hold it up broke off after about a year of having it. Its not a big deal though, since my rats seemed to like it even more with it sitting on the floor of their cage. I was kind of disappointed that I couldnt pick its colors, but its not a huge deal. Very good product.

This is the most loved hide in my rat cage. My Rats are in love with this thing. Every night they all huddle in it and go to sleep no matter what else I put in the cage this is all they care about. You will you will not regret buying this I promise.

I bought this as a cage decoration for two of my rats. Its definitely not the sort of toy theyd had in their cage beforehand, so I wasnt sure how stoked theyd be about it. I hung it from the top of their cage (they have a tall ferret cage), out from the side of one of the shelves - close enough so that they could reach it to hop in and out. Yancy was the first to discover it and he absolutely loves it and frequently re-makes his nest in it when I clean it out. His cagemate, Raleigh, was a little more wary about it, but nowadays Ill find them both hanging out inside of it sleeping. Both of my rats are on the small side, so theres no weight issues - Im unsure what the max it would hold is. Probably perfect for a handful of girl rats, probably not more than three full size boy rats trying to squeeze into it. Ive seen no issue with cracking or breakage. Im able to take it apart and clean it when their cage gets clean and it pops right back together with no trouble. The clips that allow it to hang from the cage seem sturdy, as well.

My two rats love this orb! They love sleeping in it and hiding things in it. I clean it weekly with natures miracle small animal cleaner and it’s super easy. They don’t try to chew it.
