> 3 dayThis thing is great. Very modular, easy to get under beds and furniture. Has several break away parts that makes it very easy to clear clogged areas. The led light at the head are a nice quality of life feature, of not really necessary. The swivel neck is very nice. Everything thing about it 5 stars except with one con. The collection bin is on the small side. My home 2.4k square feet and less than half of that is carpeted. I own 6 cats and a dog granted, but when I vacuum the house I usually have to stop and empty the bin 4 to 7 times. Even then, that is one complaint compared to everything else that is awesome. I would recommend this to anyone that isnt using this for a mansion or industrial use like a business or college.

> 3 dayLove this Shark! Works great. I do need to add some attachments for under the furniture & such but overall it’s a great cleaning tool. Now to order more attachments & love cleaning. Even my kids can push & clean the floors with this one.

> 3 dayOkay, so, Ive been looking for a vacuum so that I have something when moving into my new place. I was only really hoping to have a few certain yet important features. - No bags. - Strong suction. - At least a 6ft hose (or around there). - Fully sealed (no allergens get ejected back out). This unit met all of that & more! I wont bother going over everything thats shown since you can just read about it in the descriptions or even look up a video on the unit (Id suggest doing simple research like that anyway). So instead, let me point out the features that surprised me or just plain pleased me to confirm. To note, I used this for about 40-60 minutes in 2 bedrooms & a hallway, all carpet (that tall stringy type), as well as a hard wood floor living room. For the carpeted area, I ran over everything the day before with what could only best be called a cheap simple store bought vacuum. Enough to do the job on hardwood & still sucks up plenty on carpet, but it isnt gonna win any prizes. 1: The suction power. Let me put it this way. Just having the vacuum on, you could feel it trying to pull forward. Dragging backwards was the same. If you use this on carpet, I highly suggest you leave the main body of the unit (the engine & dust bin) attached instead of separating it from the rest of the unit. Their weight will help counter this. 2: The noise. Its a vacuum, so its gonna make noise, but it was much quieter than I thought itd be, especially for the level of suction it has. I could have a conversation with someone sitting 10ft from me & barely have to raise my voice at all. 3: The versatility. Its an upright, but you can pull the main engine & dustbin unit off, turning it into a handheld that has long reach & can get under furniture with just a bit of bending over. Both the head & handle have a light to see into dark spaces. You can remove the tube running from the handle to the suction head & use it that way if you so wished. Never mind the attachments that come with it. 4: The instruction manual. I know, I know. You look at the instructions? My uncle already laughed at me for it, but I prefer to go through the manual so I can know how to put things together the first time & even find nice little tidbits. Which is EXACTLY what I found going through this one. Let me just say that not only does this show you how to put it all together, but it shows exactly how to clean everything & even perform your own maintenance. No calling the support office, no scratching your head to figure out whats wrong. Just look through the manual & itll give you guides on cleaning, troubleshooting, why it may be doing this, etc. I LOVE when a brand actually gives you the ability to properly & fully maintain & troubleshoot the product you paid for yourself. 5: The filters. Four of them total. A mesh hair filter in the collection bin, a barrel sponge-like filter & a finer cloth pad filter before the suction engine & then finally a HEPA filter before any air gets shunted back out. All of these sealed up with rubber rings. I checked the filters (all removable & washable by the way, so you can keep them for much longer if you take the extra few minutes to rinse them after each session or so) & was very impressed with how much they grabbed. Honestly, not gonna lie, I sat there for a moment looking at these filters & thought ... is that what Ive been living in?. Now, I couldnt finish this review off without mentioning the one downside I had to this vacuum. The extra attachments. Ya know, the little tool heads that come with it & sit in slots on the back of the vacuum. I got a narrow hose head for tight spaces, a furniture head & a pet brush (ya know, like a little mini suction head with its own brush roller). The first is simple & works fine. The second does its job as much as Id expect it to as well. The third however... Never mind the fact that the unit only has space for 2 of the 3 attachments, but the pet brush didnt even work. The reason why is just as simple. It felt cheaply made. Out of everything that came with the vacuum, these were the cheap parts. The first two, as I said, work fine since they dont have to do much. The pet brush however didnt even have a proper seal between the top & bottom half. In fact, it had vent slits in the back so that the moment I set it down (lightly I might add) onto fur covered furniture, the brush stopped moving because it was too much & could just pull in suction from those vent slits. I should also mention that this was done on fabric upholstered furniture, not any kind of leather or similar material. Thankfully, I did not buy this vacuum for pets. My parents have them, sure, but I wont. I dont need this vacuum to tackle pets. So, long & short is this. Besides the pet brush attachment not having anywhere to sit & being cheaply made, I dont need it so Im fine with that being the cheap part. Everything else on this vacuum has already made me decide that the $300 spent on it was very much worth it.

10-04-2025This vacuum is great. Extremely powerful, easy to use and great functionality. This is my second shark vacuum and I will never buy anything else. The performance is second to none. I literally just got done vacuuming with a Dyson that I borrowed, and then used my new shark. It literally filled up the entire can. I love these vacuums.

05-04-2025My dyson all floors basically fell apart after 10 years of use. I read hundreds of reviews and watched review comparison videos of all types of vacuums from super expensive down to inexpensive. I settled on this on based on the suction power and the zero-m anti hair wrap. I vacuumed my house after 8 days (my vacuum broke then it was a holiday so delivery was delayed) and there wasnt one hair on the brush roll. Other reviews said they had hair wrap so I wasnt expecting much but there was no hair. I have long hair and my daughter does too and we have a golden retriever. Super impressed. Also, the ease of access to the brushroll is a huge plus since my old dyson you had to flip upside down and use a coin to open the casing. It was pain. With this one you just click a button and the over comes off exposing the roll. The hand held pet tool did however get hair wrapped around it on the first use but it doesnt advertise the zero-m technology. It is tall. If you are short it may be cumbersome for you. I am 57 and it is noticeably taller than other vacuums. It drives itself when in carpet mode, very strong forward pull you have to control it. Easy to move between hard floors and the two carpet settings. The hose doesnt seem very flexible and I am getting used to the way to wand works it seems awkward but I may be using it wrong. 3 tools, and two spots for tools. Kind of annoying so I just kept the one brushroll tool with the manual in the accessories box that came with it. Seems like there should be a spot for all tools. Dust collection bin is smaller than the dyson I had, I emptied it 4 times for one vacuum but like I said it had been a week. Overall I am loving it. The negatives are very minimal and dont outweigh the positives. I did a ton of research before I landed on this one and I am glad I did. I have only had it a week so I cant comment on longevity but I have vacuumed daily for 8 days and not one hair is on the brushroll. For me thats a win.

> 3 dayThis is the best vacuum I have used ,it is a bit heavier than Im used to,but it basically drives itself over the carpet. I did see a few reviews that it did not have good suction but I had no problems. I have 4 kids 12yrs down to 3yrs this is a good investment worth the money.

> 3 dayWe had a Dyson that was on its last leg. It was only 6 yrs old and had been to the vac dr. Lol I wish I had a video unboxing the Shark! My son and I opened it. He said…umm where’s the vacuum? We assembled it and I went to town vacuuming! It was GREAT!!!! You won’t be disappointed. There are three settings. For the wood/tile surface, the roller basically dusts as it vacuums and eliminates that hue on dark wood floors! It was my nemesis!!! This is huge! The middle setting is for low pile carpet/rug. For this one, LOW! Pile (almost an indoor outdoor pile rug), the vac almost drives itself! It takes off. We have two dogs and one sheds like crazy!!!! I had vacuumed with the Dyson before hand. Well…the Shark pulled so much junk out of my rugs!! Dirt/hair/dander/super fine dust! The third setting is the high pile. We have a crazy shag rug. It’s super high! While it doesn’t drive itself, the Shark is able to handle the rug! I think this rug is what killed the Dyson. Whoops. Love the light on the front. The ability to remove the canister and make it mobile! Ease of vacuuming under furniture! No more moving my couches out. I can vacuum everywhere now! The suction is so strong I’m always sucking up dog toys! So be careful there. It does a great job vacuuming furniture. The cord is plenty long! Love you can clean the filters. I could seriously keep going. Lol my entire family LOVES it! The only negative I can say is the bin is on the smaller side. But that is definitely not a deal breaker. Enjoy your new toy!

> 3 dayThe main reason I bought this vacuum is because it claims to not have hair wrap. Well, it doesnt seem to work for me. I have really long hair (down to my waist) and after vacuuming a small area, I looked at the roller (see picture). Sure enough, my hair is neatly wrapped around the roller! My old vacuum (a Bissell) worked well, but I got tired of cleaning the roller all the time. Im sorry that I spent $400 on this. I would have gotten something cheaper, or just continued to use my Bissell. I gave it 3 stars because it does seem to clean well and it does pick up dog hair. I thought about returning it, but I just spent a lot of money on attachments because the reviews were so good. One review suggested letting it run for a few seconds after vacuuming. I did that and it just seems to comb the hair around the roller. I have several Shark vacuums and I like the quality, but Im very disappointed that Ill have to continue to clean the roller. Maybe I should just get my hair cut.

> 3 dayThis is my second Ninja. The first was a Ninja Rotator I bought in 2018. It failed in 2020. Beyond any repair I could perform. The problem was not one noted in the 5 or 6 troubleshooting tips in their manual. Couldnt find a solution anywhere on Youtube either. It just lost suction. I just accepted my fate ($400 worth) and ordered a new vacuum. As mentioned when these work..theyve got superior suction. When they work there is a WHOLE lot to like about these. So, I bought a new model of the Ninja from Amazon. Another $400 . The Apex, which is advertised as having self-cleaning rollers (dont believe it..they still need cleaned) and all sorts of other little technologies that sounded pretty cool. This was purchased at the end of December this year. Last week it failed. Thats less than 3 months. This time it was really strange. I smelled a little burn..instantly turned off the vacuum (even though these are supposed to shut themselves down when hot to avoid damage). I went through all the trouble-shooting tips. The roller was wrapped in hair. Cleaned out. The hose was full of debris..was able to blow this out. Ive always kept the filters clean so these were not even in the equation. I will say, this vacuum is very easy to get into ANY possible trouble spot..thats the good news. The bad news is, it doesnt matter once you hit the point of no return. Tried to turn it back on. When upright, where you can typically pull out the hose and use it to spot clean, it wouldnt even turn on. When I engaged the floor cleaner it did turn on, but had no power and a very high-pitched whirl. I knew it was fried. Again, there was nothing on the internet that even mentioned this behavior. This time ($800 plus into Ninja products) I took a shot with Amazon perhaps helping me out. And they did. Amazon sent me another unit. Im hoping it will last. If it doesnt last at least 3 or 4 years I will never-ever buy another Ninja. The only reason I gave this 2 stars is based on Amazons integrity and motivation to help out a long time customer like myself. I may not always do business with Ninja, but I will always shop AMAZON!. ****update****. The 2nd replacement(3rd in all) I got is still going strong. Now, Ive replaced all carpet in my home with wood besides a couple area rugs. Undoubtedly that puts less stress on a vacuum cleaner. However, I did add a star to my original review because this 3rd Shark is working like a champ..Love It!
