> 3 dayI have Gig speed internet. I couldn’t get Gig speed or close to it over WiFi even when I’m standing next to the router. I average about 650Mbps.

> 3 dayRouter does it all, it keeps cool its powerful and can handle anything you throw at it, I run custom merlin firmware and that literally doubles how much I like it, everything keeps up to date you have any type of function you wish to call on it.

> 3 dayI mainly bought this for 2.5gbps port, WAN aggregation (1+1gbps) and Wifi6. Asuswrt is probably one of the most flexible firmware out there. Wifi 6 is packed with modern wifi tech which is totally worth it if youre located in an apartment complex because so much wifi signal is roaming around. The traffic monitor is also excellent, allowing me to narrow down bandwidth hogging devices with ease. My only regret is not upgrading to Wifi 6 sooner. I cant believe how much I was missing out in terms of speed and stability. 5/5 stars.

> 3 dayWorked great for about a year... now it disconnects randomly all the time. Updating the firmware does not help. I have never had an issue with my previous 3 Asus routers... but this was a waste. Dont buy this.

> 3 dayData speeds increase with distance. When closer the speeds are lower than when you are far. Blazing speeds. I highly recommend this Router.

> 3 dayIm very familiar with using products like this, and have used them all Netgear, Asus and UI I have used, configured A, G, N, AC, and AX routers. After much research, and knowing the firmware has been a bit buggy in previous versions of Asus Routers I dropped the coin and ordered an AX88U and a Pair of these AX92U units. Immediately out of the box, for the AX88 I notice there are no lights on ethernet ports, and no provision to hang the giant beast. To get the performance, or nearly the performance, I needed to hardwIre my Brother Laser Printer, and locate or disable my G devices to not be on the higher speed access point. After attempting to setup the dual wan port for example, which created faults because their aiprotection feature is not supported, I changed it back. Yet the errors stating aiprotection did not support dual wan ports persisted. I did a hard reset on all units, and reinstalled everything, this took several hours to configure. This produced a new and different set of errors and compatibility issues. The 92U kept crashing, so I removed and re-added to mesh network several times. In the end, what I ended up with is a 200mbps network, slower than the old Asus AC routers I had tolerated previously. These were also buggy. Its been quirky and crashing, resetting itself a lot, including when some outside device tries to connect to it in way it does not like. Furthermore, the units run very hot. If you use two or more Ethernet Ports (Or Any) the units crash at least on one of these. After logging three weeks of log files to tech support, and getting no response. I did my own troubleshooting and it a minimum one or both of these have problems with heat, and ports crashing. i have determined, that one of the 92U which the ports crash on will link up and get speeds in range of 450-650mbps the other unit that does not crash will not link up faster than 200mbps. There are not supposed to be any differences between to two, seeing as the software and setup is completely controlled in the mess network by the AX88u. Very inconsistent, quality, fitness and obviously function. In order to achieve anywhere near the claimed performance you would need to disable every buggy feature in the software. I am ready to give up on this brand for good.

> 3 dayWhat a great router! Its got incredible range, features, and reliability. Ive been using Asus routers for the last 15 years and theyve all been great. I was a cable tech for 8 years and trust me, Ive had my fair share of experience with routers. Im also a pretty hardcore gamer so I rely heavily on a good router with great speed and low latency. This is it! Look into Asuswrt-Merlin firmware to REALLY expand its features. Im also using the router as a media hub to share files to all of the computers in the house. Another great feature is that you can run your VPN right inside of the router so that every device is protected. This is another excellent router from Asus.

> 3 dayI purchased the Asus to upgrade my wifi signal. The unit was easy to install and I was amazed at the signal strenght, as there were no dead spots in my 4 level home. The user interface was easy to use and far exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately, I was unable to connect my 2 network printers and my security cameras. I called support and after a half hour wait, was told that my printers (Lexmark and Okidata) were not supported! They suggested that I call tech support for my security system. After several failed attemps to correct the issues, I packed up the Asus for return and reconnected my old Cisco router. Customer support was inept, checking service manuals. They were poorly trained and not familiar with their technology.
