15-12-2024I had previously owned a Netgear router using the AC frequency but my router kept losing the wifi signal for the last few months. I would either have to wait a few minutes when it might come back up on its own or would have to reboot the router manually. This was happening at least once a day, if not more. After finally getting tired of doing this over and over, my son even offered to help chip in and pay for half the cost of a new router because he was getting frustrated with this also. My cable company even replaced the modem but it was the router giving me the issues.

> 3 dayThis ASUS RT-AX88U has been running flawlessly for over four months now without one reboot or wifi connection issue. Bought this to upgrade my ASUS RT-AC66U that was running fine for many years but always had weak 5 GHz signal strength in our 3500 sqft two story home no matter how I tried to tune it. Wanted to be ready for new AX wifi 6 but was planning to use my old router as an access point or mesh connection for better coverage. However this AX88U router provides a stronger 5GHz signal strength in all corners of the house and garage so devices never automatically drop to the 2.4 GHz band anymore. So I dont need to add my old second router or mesh network now. ! I highly recommend this new ASUS AX6000 router especially if you need the extra ethernet ports. Otherwise consider the AX11000 tri band router so you have two 5.0 GHz bands since most all of your future devices, phones, ipads, TVs, firesticks, etc will be using 5.0 GHz for speed. I kinda regret not getting the more expensive tri band router but I actually use more than 5 ethernet ports for desk systems and stuff without adding switches.

> 3 dayI bought this to replace Spectrums router that wouldnt support my security cameras and robot vacuum apps! It was a bit more expensive than some others, but got great reviews from independent reviewers. Im a 69 year old woman, not very technically savvy, and it was SO easy to install and set up. It also has great range. The ability to easily access both 5g and 2.4g signals enables me to once again use my security camera app and robotics app! Great product!!
