> 3 dayInstalled it on a large property and covers all of the house and most of the land around the house. I mounted near a window to improve the outside signal.

> 3 dayPlenty of ports. Replaced the original that was taken out by lightning. Interface is pretty intuitive and easy to use. I like that you can set it to reboot at a specific time and day of the week, set it for automatic updates and you can add a captcha to help further secure the login process.

Im a real customer
Greater than one weekNeeded more than 4 LAN outputs so we got this. We thought an expensive router would solve our problems but it only helped us find out what they were. i.e. Windows 10 FIREWALL! Disable and WOW, speeds up to what were paying for. We tried EVERYTHING and wasted many many hours until we discovered the firewall speed issue. This router has hardware firewall I believe (?) So were not worried.

> 3 dayI love the Asus user interface unfortunately my router frequently drops my connection. I can’t keep my WeMo smart plugs connected for more than a couple of days at a time despite scheduling automatic reboots at 3 AM. When playing video games sometimes my ethernet connection drops for no good reason. I have tried disabling all the AI protection and features which sort of defeats the purpose of the router anyway but they still did not stop the problems.

> 3 dayOriginally purchased at the beginning of 2020, but I was continually had connection drops. I tried both the OEM firmware as well as the Merlin firmware. I wanted it to work because the amount of devices that I have connected (somewhere north of 60 devices). Connection was still spotty, and then COVID hit. Telework was the norm, and I needed to be on a steady connection. I went back to my AC-5300 because I knew that was still working. In the back of my mind, though, I wanted it to work. After reading many forum threads and having some down time with work, I came to the realization that I might need to re-provision my modem (based on a forum thread I read). I did it with self-service which my ISP allowed, and miraculously, the connection has been rock steady. It has worked for me, but Im not sure if this is the fix for most. Stability has been so solid, I purchased some of the wifi 6 extenders that ASUS offers, and they have been solid, as well, in mesh. I would say that I am happy with my purchase finally, but it has been a long drawn out journey.

Greater than one weekDoes what its advertised high speed wifi 6 connection bigger range. Really overkill if your net net plan is potato but would say its worth it if you have the speed

Greater than one weekThis router is amazing. The Wifi6 capability is great. The range is stellar. Creating a mesh network with my second Asus router could not have been easier and the app makes maintenance simple. You wont be disappointed.
