> 3 dayI never thought soldering is so enjoyable. This works really good. The tip is nice and the warm up speed is so fast, under 1 minute. I love it.

> 3 dayI couldnt imagine soldering without this station now. Easy to use, durable, cord is very supple. Make sure you buy a calibrator for it though. I was having trouble soldering with this until I acquired a calibrator and set the stations temperature accordingly.

> 3 dayWish I had known years ago that a real soldering iron - with controlled temperature - makes all the difference. I had used a cheap one with big lumpy solder and always had poor results. Thought it was my lack of skills, but it was the lack of a proper tool. Spending a few extra bucks for this is more than wore it.

> 3 dayHoly cow! This station is great. I used to use a Weller WP25 that I bought from eBay used and so I thought that was good, then I bought this for christmas and what a difference. The part that I hated the most about my old soldering iron is that it would take like 5 minutes to heat up. This iron though was able to get to 750 degrees in just 30 seconds. I thought I would hate the way the controls were, but trust me, it is not hard. I thought I was going to hate the fact that it wasnt analog anymore. I was wrong because unless you change your temperature like every 5 minutes, then the controls wont bother you. I also love the fact that you can see the temperature rising which helps you tell the iron is ready. If you are still hesitant about buying this, trust me, it is worth every penny. If you solder to different pads like me for example, I solder to a small pad and then a large pad, it helps so much for you to be able to lower the temperature or increase it, so no more burning pads - Unless you just suck at soldering, in that case, I suggest you dont buy this. Also, it comes with a FREE wire cutter. This iron is very durable too! It may look cheap, but when you lift this thing, youll feel the weight. I hope this review helped those who are wondering whether this is worth it or not. :)

> 3 dayVery good pro grade iron. I kept getting a slight static shock from the handle, until I wrapped it in painters tape. I dont like that I had to read the manual to learn how to adjust the temperate (it should be obvious). If it broke, I like it enough Id get another without considering any alternatives. Heats up fast, quality construction, and works great.

> 3 dayIve only ever used the cheap soldering irons that come in the multi-tool kits. Hakko was recommended to me as a major step up and I wasnt disappointed. The iron is fast to heat up and is rocket solid at keeping the temperature stable.

> 3 dayThe iron heats up REALLY quickly, and holds the temperature nicely! The holder is nice and sturdy. The two buttons on the device were not designed with the greatest usability - obviously, they werent thinking of the end user just figuring out how to use it - you really need to read the manual to figure out how to use it. Other than that, it is a great tool. I highly recommend it!

> 3 dayBefore buying the Hakko, I always soldered with cheapo soldering irons from that shack that used to sell radio parts. Id watch YouTube tutorials, confused as to how those internet people were so good at getting solder to melt. Well as it turns out, if you spend a little money on a nice iron, soldering electronic components is exponentially easier. I wish Id bought something like this a decade ago, it would have saved me a lot of time and frustration.
