Process of syncing was very simple. Just press the program button on the garage door opener, then press the button you want to program. I only wish the range was longer. I need to be on my driveway to open the garage. Cant open it from the street. So I always have to wait for the garage door to finish opening before I can enter. Also on a few occasions, while leaving, I have backed out too far where it doesnt reach, so I have to drive back to close it. Aside from that. It does what its supposed to. Small and convenient.

I was worried about the bad reviews but has worked fine for me. Im giving only 4 stars though because the button press does not give a satisfying click. Its kind of a mushy, not sure if I pushed it, response. Ive gotten used to it but I can see why some people would hold down the button so long that the remote enters programming mode as has been described in other reviews. Ive had no trouble with range although we live in an urban environment so I am not trying to open the door from down the block. The range seems to match our previous remote which is basically as we are within a few doors of our garage (in the alley) I can press the button and the door open in time so I dont have to come to a full stop prior to pulling in the garage.

Read lots of reviews and looked at other models and brands. Decided to go for these and I’m happy. Range is good, at least half of our neighborhood block away, these still open my door. The buttons are fairly easy to press as compared to a few other similar small remotes I have had in the past. Overall I am really happy with this purchase, I do wish there was better “click” feedback upon depressing the buttons. But this is a minor deal. Also wish seller could drop the price a few more bucks.

I’ll be honest. I’m sure it’s awesome. I bought it for my grown son and he has yet to sync it with the opener unit and I bought it for him in November. We’ve replaced them before and have never had a problem. But my kid had rather beat on the door and wake me up then use it.

We bought a new house and the garage doors had openers but no remotes. These remotes set up very easily. I am not a tech guy and I had not trouble getting these going. They work just as they are supposed to. 5 star all the way

You got a Genie garage opener. When these remotes are for you. I even put one thru the washing machine and it still works, its magical. Only complaint I have is it has like a spongy feel, whereas my original old remotes have like a more buttony feel, but whatevers.

The included instructions were exact and the total setup took less than 90 seconds from start to finish.

Awesome replacement. I hide these in my cars under the dash with velcro. Out of sight from vandals and easy to access. Never have to worry about someone breaking into my car to gain access to my house through the garage. Small enough to hide or carry in your pocket on a key ring.

I left the remote for my brand new garage door opener on the roof of the car and found it a week later in the driveway in pieces. This is a direct replacement for that garage door opener, was easy to program and works fine. It was a good purchase imo.
