> 3 dayThis Genie remote was compatible with my 11 yr. old garage door. I had zero issues with programming and it took less than 2 minutes to sync with my Genie garage door. I had to replace one of my lost remotes. The other remote, see pic, had main button wear out but fear not, just program one of the other buttons so you would not have to purchase another unless you need an extra one. I have only one garage door so the three button remote came in handy and the other buttons can be used if they begin to wear out. Save your money this way. Also, the remote distance of 50 feet worked for me. 4 Star only because I’ve had it one day. Hope this helps, good luck.

> 3 dayWhen purchasing a new 2018 F-150 truck and noticed the garage door opener option was only included with a higher trim level. Well instead of spending thousands for other things I wouldnt need, I just purchased this remote and painted black to match my interior and BAM. Have the truck I wanted with the options I need.

> 3 dayI bought this remote for a second car. This remote was easy to program, although I had issues with my original remote reprogramming when the new one was activated. After 2-3 restarts it worked out fine. Not sure why I had the problem. I’ve had this remote a few months now with no issues from either remote.

Greater than one weekYou need to look at YouTube to figure out how to program it, but its pretty straightforward after that. Good luck.

> 3 dayWe bought a house w/o garage remotes... We found out the model of the receivers but its very old. This product says it works for Genie receiver from 1994 so we bought it to tried it out. It works and it can wipe the old link to previous remote, which we dont have it. We only have it less than a week so we are not sure hows the battery life. If the battery life is good. I will give it a 5 star rating.

> 3 dayThe Genie G3T-R Intellicode remote is the purest manifestation of the American Dream I have come across in this rotten year 2016. Amidst the simpering politicians, the unpredictable climate, the wars, famine, and all signs that were rapidly speeding towards a gleeful extinction, I realized I needed a second garage door opener. The octogenarian who previously owned my house and had a penchant for Lands End and other similar faux-northeast lifestyle products had left me a solitary pathetic number that apparently came with the ancient Genie unit in my optimistically titled one and a half car garage. Shed also stranded a veritable arsenal of potting soils alongside three months worth of survival rations. The first time I opened that garage, I feared Id purchased some sort of suburban survivalist compound, and made a mental note to be heavily armed when I investigate the crawlspace under the house. There is a paucity of information on garage door openers. The liars, they want you to be confused. They want that door closed, and your car parked quietly in its place while youre on the couch sucking down reruns of Spongebob and American Idol. But no! Genie decided that you can have as many openers as your rotten heart desires. The unit itself is a miracle fusion of American design and cheap factory labor. The plastic holds firmly to your hand, but not too firmly. The rubberized buttons suggest that they will last for decades, even if abused and left in all manner of surly dive bars and underground boxing clubs. My particular unit leads a life of luxury, clipped to a beer glass that serves as a key holder in my kitchen. The metal clip is equally useful, and I briefly considered its potential use as a weapon. You can program the remote to work with three different openers. I paused briefly upon hearing this, and considered installing a set of triple-garage-doors. You cant be too careful, and a little fortification can go a long way. The range is good, too. All in all, a good opener for the price.

> 3 dayHad to buy this to replace one of the little dinky 10 year old ones that I lost right after we moved in our new home. The weird clip/holder for the original unit was flimsy and had obviously failed for the original owner. Since the clip was unreliable and only sporadically held onto the remote, I carried the remote in my pants or coat pocket. Now it must be somewhere out on the street laying where it landed when I sat down or reached in my pocket for something and it escaped unnoticed. The programming instructions with the new remote did not agree with the original programming instructions on the old unit. First try to program it failed. Second try failed. Tried both methods again. Based on the instructions, I was worried that trying to continually re-program the new one probably erased the codes stored in the other original dinky unit so I would now have two useless remotes. Finally, just before trying to return it, I gave it one last try and it worked. Both old dinky and new little-larger-than dinky are OK. I gave it 3 stars but changed it to 4 since the programming failures were probably operator error. Looks like it goes on your keyfob but its too big for that - I wish it was bigger so it would be harder to misplace.
