Greater than one weekI recently replaced a redwood deck with a Brazilian hard wood. I noticed joist decay was primarily due to moisture in the gaps between the deck boards. After replaced and repair the joists, I applied this product. I am confident this will extend the life of the joists and deck board. Easily applied and great adhesion.

> 3 dayThis tape is better than described. I applied it to the tops of my joists and stair stringers (glossy black strips in the photo). I wish Id know about it 10 years ago otherwise Id not be replacing my stringers. The tape withstands several step-board on and offs to install railing posts and the tape will not ride up the screws. If youre looking to extend the life of your exposed decking support structures this stuff is easy to work with.

> 3 dayGood tape, very sticky.. Ill see how well it holds up over the life of this new deck. My advice is to not put it on when its above 90 outside cause the backing is harder to control due to the heat.

> 3 dayVery easy to apply. Sticks well and until you press it firmly in place you can usually reposition it. I dont have any concerns with the tape and recently bought 2 more rolls for the next phase of my deck. After 3 months in the Texas heat, the tape is holding up well.... of course its way too early to rate the durability.

Greater than one weekSuper sticky black tape. Need a blade to cut it. Pain in the behind if need to remove it. Stops the water.

04-04-2025First time I ordered was trex tape. That tape had anti-skid grit on it so that it was not slippery to walk on. The tape from Imus does not have that.
