I put the SSD into my Mac (doubling the original capacity) and I put the one I took out of my machine into the enclosure and attached it to my sons XBOX. 2 birds with 1 stone!!

I installed this in a 2012 27” iMac. Once you gain access to the drive it pops right in. Of course you need an adapter to use with it, but that is a function of Apple design. It’s been in place for a few months now and I am very pleased with it so far. I went from 256Gb to 1Tb and won’t look back.

Drive was easy to install in a 2012 MacBook Pro. So far it has been working like a champ and gave me the extra hard drive space I needed. This should extend the use of this MacBook for a couple more years. So far Im very pleased.

Si se nota la mejoría en rendimiento, la utilizé en una Macbook Pro 15 Retina

I replaced the OEM 128GB SSD which worked fine. However, when my battery failed I decided to upgrade since I had the case open anyway and needed additional storage. The new 1TB SSD is faster than my OEM and the additional storage is a great bonus. Reloading Catalina OS X was easy from backup. All told, it took me about 3 hours to do the installation and reload the operating system and my data. I am very happy with this purchase.

Took me less than 15 minutes to upgrade my 2013 Macbook Pros hard drive, awesome!

I upgraded from a smaller capacity SSD to this one. The installation process was very straightforward. By buying the kit with the external enclosure for the old SSD, the transfer process was just a matter of waiting. As in all upgrades, back up your original hard drive, but this could not have been easier.

18 second boot time to login/account screen! So far, it’s worked flawless.

The hardware is solid but would be nice to have some software included. I used carbon copy cloner. Worked well and solved my storage problem.
