My first drive stop mounting in the first week. I got a replacement drive and it would either not mount or gives me the spin wheel and froze the whole system every other day that I had to restart my computer, basically making my Mac unusable after install the hard drive. Unfortunately I can no longer return the drive or I would. So I basically just waste my money on a piece of junk. I just ended up using the original ssd that came with my computer..

Since apple makes proprietary connections, this works great without need of adapter.

After two months the solid state hard drive tanked. Return window closed. Manufacturer very hard to get ahold of. Feeling let down by amazon

Sadly, my macbook pro version has no aftermarket RAM upgrade. But the SSD can. This kits is highly recommended and works. My macbook is like a new machine.

Otherwise your Macbook Pro wont recognize it.

This is exactly what I needed to replace a bad SSD for the 2012 MBP 15”.

Since installing I have had a lot of crashing. Something I have never had before. While I cannot contribute this drive to the problem, I have since been told by a MAC shop that these are not a quality drive.
